Hi everyone, here we are with out 4th thread.
I really can't believe just how well everyone is doing.

Joash 12lb loss in 6 days. That's fantastic. I'm like you, i also have a cheese weakness!!!

hercules1 8lb loss in 6 days. Brilliant.
You don't have to wait until you reach goal before you eat food again.
There are lots of food plans to choose from.
Have you tried FIBRE 89? helps you if you do get constipated.

catsmother I cannot believe that you've lost another 5.5lbs this week.
You are an inspiration to all of us.

gtimama 1st 1lb in 2 weeks is a great loss.

michaelad How are you getting on with day 4?
You can have the berry powder in the first week.
Theres also an orange powder as well. I didn't like this as much!

Thelittlesoldiersmummy How fantastic must you feel losing 22lb in a week?
That has to be the most i've ever heard of.
Well done you.

Sorry that i've not mentioned everyone, but i'd be here all day if i did that.

I've been doing this diet for 13 weeks now and have lost 38lbs and 1/4 oz.
My next weigh in is on wed as my CDC has been away on hol.

Have tried to be good, but also caved in a few times with the kids easter eggs!!!!

Lucie, will be thinking of you tomorrow!! I hope you have a wonderful reunion with dh and he better be proud of you for having coped so well on your own and for having lost all that weight!

hercules1 · 23/04/2007 20:02

Anyone done the slimming world diet? I would really like to eat again..

Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 23/04/2007 20:16

Well I have weighed myself at Tesco's this evening and have lost 5.5lbs this week so 32lbs in 4 weeks which I am really happy about why dont you try the 790 diet hercules1 if you are not happy with sole source that why you have a small evening meal the 3/4 packs and would still lose weight a lot quicker than slimming world - Worth a thought ask your cdc x

luciemule · 23/04/2007 23:22

Also, Hercules, you can split your packs up but use the same amount (8 fl oz) water but half the shakes so you have them more often.
Actually I might take my own advice and start doing that as I'm always hungry mid morning.

hercules1 · 24/04/2007 03:23

Thanks for that you two. That's a really good idea about splitting the shakes. Never thought of that. I'll try it today.

misdee · 24/04/2007 10:15

i split my shakes. i can get 4 large hot 'coffees' out of one pack by using it like a whitner, means you get strong coffee but better than drinking it black IMO. i then use the other two packs to make two cookies and two shakes later on.

joash · 24/04/2007 10:18

Started SS again yesterday (after FIL funeral, etc). Stuck to it all day except that I drank about a pint of coke (a total of around 4 calories - at the most). Weighed this morning and have put on a 1lb - how is that possible????

michaelad · 24/04/2007 17:29

Just had my week 3 weigh in and have lost another 2 lbs. Not much but then again I wasn't exactly "on track" this week. But I am honestly pleased! Tried on a size 16 top today..and it fitted!!

luciemule · 24/04/2007 17:42

Brilliant Michaelad - well done you. My family were always chuffed to pieces if I even lost 1 lb and said that if you lost a couple of pounds at Weight Watchers a week, you're doing well so I think as CD is such a complete leap further than most diets, any loss is a good achievement (at least it's not a gain too).
Got my AF today (a week early) so not sure what's going on here?! Certainly rules out any prospects of a romantic week with DH now he's almost back.....just my luck!

hercules1 · 24/04/2007 19:04

What sort of coke was it? You can only have a pint of coke zero a day as diet coke has I think citric acid in it which affects the whole thing.

Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 24/04/2007 20:15

Right well I tested myself for ketosis tonight and it would seem I am still out after cheating at the weekend I have felt crap today but have not cheated since Saturday! I am so determined to get through this weekend without cheating !

Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 24/04/2007 20:16

Sorry since Sunday

fussymummy · 25/04/2007 00:00

TLSM thanks for the link, i think i'll start going on that site to read a few more tips.
Well done on losing another 5.5lbs to get to a 32lbs loss in only 4 weeks!
You must be feeling so good about that?

lucie I've been treating myself a bit too much lately!!
It feels like every time i go out i buy myself new clothes!!

michaelad No way will i be giving up, i've spent too much money for that to happen, and besides, i enjoy everyone company and support on here.
And i am looking forward to the meet up that we can hopefully all get to.

Well, i started back this morning and have had 2 bars and 2 shakes and loads of water!!!
I feel hungry now, so will have another shake.
My cdc said that if i want to cheat then have extra cd. I'm allowed 4 items a day, so to only have one extra item is really good.

I've also got a headache!!!

Thankyou so much to you all for your support, it really means a lot to me.

I haven't posted cos I've been ashamed!!

Did brilliantly first two weeks. Lost 1 stone and 1 lb.

But then disasterous two weeks followed. It was my birthday weekend and took kids to Legoland. Knew it would be impossible to walk around there and drink lots of water, so failed. Only lost 1lb that week. Next weekend took kids camping in Swanage cos the weather was so good. Impossible to do the water thing there too. Weight stayed the same that week.

Been back for weigh in on Monday and lost 3 3/4 llbs.

Total 1 stone 5 3/4 llbs in four weeks.

Back on track so far this week and appear to be back in ketosis, so fingers crossed I can stick to it.

Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 25/04/2007 08:17

gtimama Well I think yiou have done brilliantly it must of been hard going to legoland and not eating anything! also as long as your losing your going in the right direction! keep it up and never been ashamed we are all in the same boat and the same loses will and have happened to all of us

luciemule · 25/04/2007 09:54

gtimama - what's bad about that?! That's brilliant. That's roughly the average of what you should be losing anyway - even though people do lose more - my counsellor quoted me a stone a month and you've lost more than that. The key thing is getting back on track when you fall off, which you've done (got back on track that is) so well done to you and keep going.

misdee · 25/04/2007 10:16

had my first weigh in this morning. have lost 10lb!

michaelad · 25/04/2007 10:33

Excellent, Misdee!
Hiya, Lucie! How are you this morning?

michaelad · 25/04/2007 10:41

I've posted more pics on my profile including Hever Castle.

Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 25/04/2007 10:53

Thats Brilliant Misdee!

I have added some pics of my little angel as well!

michaelad · 25/04/2007 11:13

Awww..look at that cheeky face! Lovely, tlsm!

luciemule · 25/04/2007 13:57

Hello everyone - amazingly this week I've lost 2 lbs, which now puts me at 10 stone 13lbs and a healthy BMI at last. I do feel proud of myself but have to keep going as I first thought when she weighed me "wow, and I ate all of that peanut butter too!" so mustn't get complacement. Because of AF, measurements went up a bit but I did feel swollen last week so that'll be why - must glug more water.
Still haven't been naked in fromt of DH and still feel fat without clothes but he thinks I look good with them on so I'll just hope for the best!
Liked the latest pictures too that you've been adding. Very cute kids.
Michaelad I looked at the routeplanner for Wattisham to Hever and it said 98 miles but will check it out again as I think that might be wrong. Looks great though.

honey28 · 25/04/2007 19:37

Can I butt in to ask a few questions please? Been doing SW but weight loss has really slowed down. I have read a bit about Cambridge and was thinking of giving it a try to shift the last stone. Without reading the whole thread (sorry - its too long!) would you recommend I do this? I've seen some for sale on ebay, I dont really want to go down the counsellor line, so would you recommend doing it alone or not? Thanks in advance for the replies and cery well done to all of you on your weight losses

luciemule · 25/04/2007 21:13

Hi Honey28 - I'm sure that as long as you've got a stone or more, then it'd fine. For only a stone, and if you don't have any health probs, then I'd just buy the stuff from ebay. The only thing is if you don't like the flavours, you won't be able to change them, whereas you just pop to a counsellor and swap for a different sort. Up to you though. On average they say you can lose a stone in 4 weeks. It's a great, fast way to shift the fat.

michaelad · 26/04/2007 08:29

Morning everyone!
For the last 4 days I have been struggling to get back into Ketosis (have been pretty good, no real cheating) but the strips are still hovering between negative and trace. How come? The weight's still coming off but does that now mean I won't be losing anymore inches?

And, since I'm gonna be starting AAM next week, does anybody have nice recipes other then the ones in the booklet or on Minimins?
