September is here and the Slenderistas (and TV) have their game face on.

Golden days will be in abundance as we aim to shift 7 Lindas in September

Hello princess and welcome. You've come to the right place. On the right day. We are all golden for September

September starting weight for me is less bad than I expected. 13.8.8. So I put on 3.2lb in the 6 holiday weeks when all caution was thrown to the wind. Not disasterous, but annoying to be trying to lose the same weight again.

The lowest I got down to so far was 13.4 so that's my first mini-target.
Then below 13. Hopefully before Christmas. I haven't seen 12-something on the scales for about 4 years now.

DrMadelineMaxwell · 01/09/2017 17:50

Not a bad first day either.

No breakfast.
Salad for dinner. Busy in my classroom getting ready for Tues, so only ate the salad, no fruit or cereal bar.
Having potato bake for dinner. Approx 600 cals.

Then a few drinks with a friend later.

Shopped for healthy stuff earlier so having casserole tomorrow and there are a few easy healthy dinners I can make. We've really got out of the habit of all eating the same things or even all eating at the same time, so I'm determined to have a good few nights a week where I do cook something for all of us. Even if it's not all eaten by everyone at the same time.

WhenDoISleep · 01/09/2017 18:38

I'd like to join in this month.

Have lost 10lbs (I think) over the last two months, but still have a long way to go. This morning my weight was 15st 2.5 lbs, which is ridiculous at my height of 5ft4. 7lbs in a month seems very realistic and would put me on track to be 13st something at the end of the year which would be fantastic.

The DC are back to school next Tuesday, so I'm focusing on two things from then - eating better & exercising more and tidying the house (another thread entirely). I'm intending to log all food via MFP and exercisewise the next block of the local bootcamp I attend starts on 9 September, so that will be 4 sessions of exercise a week. This will be my fourth bootcamp block since April and I have been surprised at what I can do - I intend to push a bit harder this month.

MozzchopsThirty · 01/09/2017 19:59

I don't think I could survive on 800 calories per day
My PT worked out I should be having 1500 per day based on 4 x per week training
TBH I struggle to stick to that
My breakfast alone is 545 calories

You must be starving!

Boxachocs · 01/09/2017 21:42

I'd like to join too! I've lost a stone in the last 2 months to get to 14st 12.

poorpaws · 01/09/2017 21:44

Wow we are on it!

Welcome Newbies, we are awesome here (apart from in August).

BitOutOfPractice · 01/09/2017 21:52

I'm coming in at just over 1000 calories here.

OP posts:
NikiBabe · 01/09/2017 22:06

I've had 1550 calories.

But cycled for an hour with a huge back pack on, did body pump and walked for 90 minutes so exercise clocks in at 700 cals.

MozzchopsThirty · 01/09/2017 22:52

I'm starting tomorrow

Excited and gutted in equal measure, no more pigging out
But once I get into the gym I love it, first week is the hardest then I see results starting and get more motivated

BitOutOfPractice · 01/09/2017 23:21

Golden day complete. I predict an awesome night's sleep.

What is golden day?

NikiBabe · 02/09/2017 01:31

A golden day isnt really defined. It means different things for different people.

It is a day really where you have been very good. THat may have been eating few calories, exercised a lot, etc.

ponygirlcurtis · 02/09/2017 07:44

OK, I am starting September at 11st 1.75lbs. So 2.75lbs up from my lowest weight in recent memory. I would like to be back there. My goal for the month is more gym, more water, more sleep. Which will hopefully lead to less picking.

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 02/09/2017 09:10

I just weighed myself and I am 1lb down from the start of August, and 4lbs down from the peak I had in the middle of the month. I'm 4lbs away from the top of my target weight range. Would be nice to get there this month, but that may be a tad optimistic!

Off to body pump in a bit!

BitOutOfPractice · 02/09/2017 09:17

Mixes a golden day is one where you stick absolutely to your plan. Enough golden days in a row and you've got an angel week.

Well I did have an awesome night's sleep as predicted. I have bloody well put a bloody Linda bloody well ON! Angry

I'd like to join you lovely slenderistas as well please Smile

I've been lurking on the last few months and you are all so supportive and knowledgable - easy to see why it's the best thread on MN.

I'm starting Sept at 13.10 and hope to lose at least 7 this month with MFP and getting back into exercise. I was 12.11 in Jan and would love to see the 12s again soon and then keep losing from there. All the determination is very inspiring!

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 02/09/2017 10:24

Body pump was full! Shock I couldn't get in. I guess we aren't the only ones full of good intentions Grin

I'll have to do tomorrow instead!

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 02/09/2017 10:25

And welcome Coffee!

NikiBabe · 02/09/2017 11:48

I overslept and missed body combat. Going to body jam instead.

I will be well into the 9s by the end of the month!

NikiBabe · 02/09/2017 11:50

I am also cycling nearly 8 kilometres a day on top of the gym.

BitOutOfPractice · 02/09/2017 12:32

I reckon there's tons of people trying to get back into the groove now September is here and some sort of normality returns.

Hello coffee, good to see you unlurk

Can I join too please? Not seen these threads before. I'm off on holiday on Tuesday but won't be going crazy. I'm so massively overweight and need to lose 5 or 6 stone. 7lbs in September will be a great step in the right direction

sn1ce · 02/09/2017 12:49

Hi-can i join you all too? Just back from holiday and appalled at the sight of myself in swimsuit. Just weighed myself for the first time in ages and more appalled ( if thats possible )to find that my weight is inexplicably 11st 11 lbs . I had sort of kidded myself it was just over 11st. Target is about 10st 7lb for now and im hoping the shame of having to weigh in with you lovely lot will keep me on track. Time to get my running shoes out and stop kidding myself that snacking doesnt count.
