September is here and the Slenderistas (and TV) have their game face on.

Golden days will be in abundance as we aim to shift 7 Lindas in September

If you out sugar me TV I'll be amazed, I'm such an addict I'll eat it till I feel sick, and then carry on eating it if any left Blush and hate myself whilst doing it but can't seem to find the will power to stop myself. Doesn't help various medical conditions / disabilities I have either; and keep being told mug got for (very!) post 40 checkup inc blood sugar as big obesity / diabetes issue in maternal family, inc in aunt who is very slim, so it's not good! Sad

Adarajames · 01/09/2017 12:10

*to go for. (With could edit posts on here for bad phone typing reasons!)

HairsprayBabe · 01/09/2017 12:10

Hardcore BSD

Cut out the big five completely
no bread, rice, pasta, sugar or potatoes

Reduce amount of carby veg and grains to very very low levels
carrots, sweet pots, quinoa, buckwheat spelt etc.

No tropical fruit

and the biggy no more than 800 calories a day!

MozzchopsThirty · 01/09/2017 12:11

I am also a weekend binge eater
I find it much easier to drink lots of water & eat well when I'm in work.

I'm limiting to one cheat meal per week and probably alcohol on that day too

Otherwise Friday - Sunday is just me stuffing my face

MozzchopsThirty · 01/09/2017 12:12

800 calories a day ShockShockShock
That's not enough to sustain anyone surely?

HairsprayBabe · 01/09/2017 12:16

one would think so, but I am cursed with a very slow metabolism and basically maintain on around 1500... plus i hate exercise

The 2000 cals a day is really misleading if you are sedentary, plus you only do it for 8 weeks and then a 4 week break works as a shock to the system.

Lots of books and research done by newcastle uni so it is all legit... and it works for meee!

Cured my great aunt and grandfather of their T2 diabetes and cured my maternal aunt of her fatty liver disease!

--Hairspray go to the gym. Exercise fast becomes addictive and you no longer worry about overdoing it with food as you csn compensate with an aerobics
class.--

800 calories isnt enough even for the basal metabolic rate. I would grouchy on that.

But as long as it isnt every day.

NikiBabe · 01/09/2017 13:29

That was a strike out fail and my smiley emoticon i forgot too. Meant to be a light hearted nudge. Grin

HairsprayBabe · 01/09/2017 13:34

I know Niki I know!

What gym are you with?

BeyondLimitsAndWhatever · 01/09/2017 13:35

800 works for me as gym is an impossibility. Not enough weight loss advice out there for people who can't exercise (and I'm at the less severe end of the scale)

QuimReaper · 01/09/2017 13:53

800 a day is obviously hardcore but do-able if you're pretty sedentary and happy to either be a vegetarian (like Hairspray) or to eat very vegetarianly most of the time - but without doing what I do with meat-free meals, which is load them with cheese Blush

Even with meat, if you're content to stick with protein and veg it's perfectly do-able.

Beyond is that you?!

BeyondLimitsAndWhatever · 01/09/2017 13:55

It is me! Grin

QuimReaper · 01/09/2017 14:00

I agree with Hairspray that 2000 is a huge calorie intake if your day consists of walking to the bus stop/tube station, boarding bus/tube, walking to work, sitting at a desk for 8hrs, repeating the journey and then curling up on the sofa. That was most of my weekdays for a couple of years, especially in winter; I'd be surprised if it were not a very common lifestyle these days, and if people are eating 2,000 calories a day they're bound to be gaining.

QuimReaper · 01/09/2017 14:01

Sorry Beyond, blew your cover there Grin Lovely to have you back!

HairsprayBabe · 01/09/2017 14:11

Yep that is pretty much it for me Quim I get in about 7-8K steps in a day and like the sofa way too much!

EURGH! just been invited to 2 leaving do's WHY must the world scupper my attempts to be skinny!!!!

BitOutOfPractice · 01/09/2017 14:13

I've just tracked all my good for the day and it's coming in around 850. I will eat more than that though. I'm already thinking about the kit kats in the cupboard.

HairsprayBabe · 01/09/2017 14:27

I have had a grand total of 9 calories all day Grin

I like a big dinner so I save them up - then there is space for cheese afters!

I am wildly aware this is not a healthy way to diet but I am beyond bored of being stuck in the mid 10s, so I am really pushing this week! I might even try egg week again if I don't see some movement soon!

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 01/09/2017 14:53

You just described my day, every day Quim! According to MFP I also only need about 1500 to maintain, as I don't get much exercise done except at the weekend. I would definitely gain on 2000.

Niki well you are taller than me Grin

Welcome back Beyond!

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 01/09/2017 14:56

I should come in at about 800 today, if I don't have any wine. I'm just having my lunch, a not very diet-friendly cream cheese sandwich, but I have been rushed off my feet all morning and am starving. I only had black coffee for breakfast! Off to the cinema tonight though, so I might have something there.

NikiBabe · 01/09/2017 15:48

I need more protein in my diet. Has anyone tried quorn?

I was thinking the stir fry pieces with vegetables and noodles.

ponygirlcurtis · 01/09/2017 16:13

Thanks for the noooo fred, BOOP, loving the new mantra bootcamp chant too. Smile

I am not weighing till tomorrow. Delaying the inevitable. This is going to be the month when I get back into the 10 bracket.

ponygirlcurtis · 01/09/2017 16:14

Niki I quite like the quorn pieces, and the quorn mince.

lastqueenofscotland · 01/09/2017 16:15

Still way fat for me.

Feeling motivated for once... 10 miles run this morning. And at work at all weekend so shouldn't snack too much.

PrincessStrop · 01/09/2017 17:02

Can I join? Weighed in at 11s 7lb today Shock

I also went to an exercise class at the gym this afternoon and found it ridiculously difficult. I had to keep stopping and almost threw up. I used to go to classes like that all the time, and found them sooo easy before!! I had to apologise to the class instructor before I left, and he definitely pitied me, because I was definitely pitiful. Sad
