September is here and the Slenderistas (and TV) have their game face on.

Golden days will be in abundance as we aim to shift 7 Lindas in September

I can't imagine being 9 stone anything let alone 9 dead. I'm An inch shorter than you Gower. I'd be an easy 10 at 10 stone. Which, I guess, just goes to show that our bodies are all different just as you said.

CinnamonSweet73 · 03/09/2017 12:43

We all vary so much don't we? I'm an inch taller than you Happy but have a broadish frame so would be very thin at 9 stone I would think (never been that low though haha!)

BitOutOfPractice · 03/09/2017 12:52

Lowest I've been since my teens is 9st 10lbs and I hot a lot of "you look ill" comments.

I'm aiming for 10st 7lbs now. Or until I'm happy-ish with my vile stomach

HappyGowerGirl · 03/09/2017 13:08

That's amazing Bit that you could easily be a size 10 at 10 stone at a similar height. I can barely squeeze into a 12 (trousers) at 10 stone! Yeah we're all different.

NikiBabe · 03/09/2017 13:32

Lowest Ive been at 5'4 is 7st something. I was about 18 though.

BitOutOfPractice · 03/09/2017 16:23

I think my horrible belly weighs a good stone Sad

BitOutOfPractice · 03/09/2017 19:11

androbbob · 03/09/2017 19:39

Evening ! Can I join in please? Need a kick up the numbers to get going, but today I logged everything in MY and was within my 1200 limit - just. Need to sew my mouth up and stop eating too much sugar! Planned all food for Mon to Fri. Busy working here and then school run and 3 football runs a week which take 5 hours out of my afternoon / evening. Soups stir fry and stews featuring heavily this week. Food all bought. Just need up to stick to plan. ...😀

NikiBabe · 03/09/2017 19:54

This was my day today. I better see some bloody downwards movement on the scale this week.

So god no to have to be pretty hardcore but am going back to the gym after my back injury so fingers crossed it will hold out, I need exercise to kick start this again Hmm

BitOutOfPractice · 03/09/2017 21:59

Androbob you are most welcome. Planning is key I think.

. So good to have you back. I will. E checking in with you throughout the day tomorrow

Oh God how difficult is it to make some bloody scones! I made a batch tonight to give away tomorrow and they are far too wet and not sweet enough. I had to eat two to check how bad they were. I can't give them away at all and now I'll have to eat them because I refuse to throw them out. Mary bloody Berry recipe huh! I hate my top oven I don't think the temperatures are right like my bottom oven (Poor workmen blame their tools don't they).

I am making two lasagnes tomorrow, one for me and one to give away and if they don't work out right I'm giving up on cooking. I used to cook all the time I just don't know what's wrong with me at the moment. Diet went well today apart from the two scones. This is not a good start to September 👨‍🍳

Hope everyone else is doing well.

poorpaws · 03/09/2017 22:21

I don't know where the face and the egg came from!

poorpaws · 03/09/2017 22:23

Oh God scrap that

PrimalLass · 03/09/2017 23:28

Scones are difficult, I find. Stick those in the freezer so you do not eat them all.

My weigh in day is Tuesday. I lost a few lb the first few days but would love another. Will have to be extra good tomorrow.

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 04/09/2017 06:10

Good to "see" you again Chardonnay! Hope you are well.

Good luck today Last! These things are never normally as bad as you imagine, and surely you weren't the only one who was drunk.

I am back on it today, planning a fast day. Black coffee until lunch, then an egg salad, and Thai curry (sans rice) for dinner.

HairsprayBabe · 04/09/2017 08:06

Yay lots of newbies! and welcome back Chard hope you are doing well these days!

10.9 for me very good Monday weigh in for me, meeting with some friends from uni for dinner tonight - harvester and I am going to have a really fiddly and annoying meal and really irritate my poor waitress but I will remain golden and on plan. +3lbs so far this month but it is much lower than last Mondays weigh in so I am happy enough with that!

I am also out for dinner tomorrow - DP bought me tickets to see a drag queen show months ago and I totally forgot! still I won't be able to nibble and pick if we are out of the house so probably a good thing!

Stellar67 · 04/09/2017 08:37

Hi everyone, late to the party as usual.

Last I'm sure today will be fine. It probably feels worse than it is.

Everyone is on a mission!

I have adjusted my cal input. I often wonder if I should just give up the whole thing and learn to enjoy being in my own skin. Does anyone else think it's a mindset?

Monday musing over. I have a sore throat! Hopefully it'll be gone later as I have a lot of talking to do. Shock

BeyondLimitsAndWhatever · 04/09/2017 09:07

So I weighed this morning and I'm at my usual starting weight. I swear this is just my natural weight, but I'm not giving up Grin

Chardonnay73 · 04/09/2017 09:08

And...and I've just measured my height. I was 5'7.
Since my crumbling vertebrae incident I've lost 2 inches, I'm now 5'5!!Shock
So my BMI has increased through no bloody fault of my own Angry
Snot fair Sad

BitOutOfPractice · 04/09/2017 09:39

Aww Chard but at least your BFF and Dh have been supportive eh?

Stellar I often think that. Is it better to be fat and happy, or slim and struggling? Of course the trick is to be happy when fat which I'm guessing none of us have achieved or we wouldn't be here. And then there's the health issue. So we struggle on...

OP posts:
PrimalLass · 04/09/2017 10:27

I'm never going to be super slim again, and my face would look awful anyway because my lines are bad enough when I'm overweight. But I'd love to be a comfortable 12 and not get stressed about it all.

I'm doing a keto diet so have had bacon and poached eggs on flax bread (not that nice but it soaks up the egg and is only 1g of carbs).

Chicken curry and cauli rice for dinner.

NikiBabe · 04/09/2017 11:23

I thought I'd never be slim again but I have been 9.13 to 10st before and I was bigger than this. I wondered how it happened. It must be the gym.

Before when I hit 10st in my mid 20s I took no exercise. Now I think I exercise so much that muscle is denser than fat and some of my weight is muscle which is leaner. I look smaller than I did when I was 10st never exercising.

I never thought Id wear skinny jeans again. I think the gym and building muscle tone makes you look smaller at your weight than you would otherwise do if you took no exercise as you have built more muscle.

As it is although pretty much 10st I am happy with how my.legs look and would just like to lose a few more pounds to be comfortably in the 9s as my bmi is still fairly high as Im only 5'4.
