September is here and the Slenderistas (and TV) have their game face on.

Golden days will be in abundance as we aim to shift 7 Lindas in September

school holiday for us too pony but I'm back down south until Thursday. Sad

4.30 alarm this morning and I've already had toast at airport and a bacon thing on plane and am still starving...how does that happen?

Bought a sandwich for lunch which I hope I can put off until 1ish and then I plan a walk, no dinner and early night so will hopefully keep calories in check...Hmm

12st 8 this morning which is not bad for a Monday especially after a 3 course dinner on saturday and Nandos last night. I am really keen to see 12st 6 regularly before Edinburgh weekend in mid October

Just caught up with everyone! Had a terrible few days for food and drink and have also been sleeping appallingly badly, and it's very grey and rainy here, so I'm feeling a bit down in the dumps. A bubble bath and an early night for me tonight I think!

Hairspray and Happy sounds like you had absolutely gorgeous weekends Smile And happy birthday Happy, a single Linda is excellent going for a weekend away!

Congrats on being so close to goal too lees.

Where on earth's BOOPster?

poorpaws · 25/09/2017 22:00

Still struggling

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 26/09/2017 07:31

Sorry to hear that poorpaws! Flowers

KOKO at least it's a a half pound in the right direction! Definitely all good progress.

I'm still 2lbs up after last week but I had a fairly golden day yesterday, 850 calories but only 6500 steps and no "proper" exercise. Aiming for about the same number of calories today and hopefully more steps.

HairsprayBabe · 26/09/2017 07:52

Right, , 10.6 this morning so anything less than that puts me at a loss for the month.

2nd fast day today, and I have FX for a golden weekend - even though I have a few plans they are not particularly foodie so I should be able to squeak by with a small loss into October.

I really need to get a handle on my weekends, I feel like half the time I am just eating because stuff is there not because I really really want it or I am treating myself or we are celebrating, just mindless nibbling! Need to break my snacking habit!

HappyGowerGirl · 26/09/2017 09:55

Sorry to hear that poorpaws:-( Hopefully things will get easier soon!

I also find weekends tough Hairspray. So many social occasions seem to involve (unhealthy!) foods! It seems pretty much impossible to make healthy choices on those occasions.

So instead I've taken to having small portions of the unhealthy food, or sometimes I skip a meal if I'm not too hungry. That means I can still indulge without clocking too many calories.... this works in theory... until it's wine o'clock...

DM just called me to tell my my brother has had another seizure, that is his third in a year now.

He has just started his apprenticeship and collapsed at work in the factory. Dislocated his jaw and is a bit bruised but seems to be perking up.

They are in A&E now waiting for a surgeon to check if his jaw is ok as it is the 3rd time he has dislocated that now too. They then have to make a GP appt. as you can't get a neurology referral through A&E.

DBro is making jokes but I can tell he is worried, he had to give up playing rugby after his last one and that really hit him hard Sad
DM is really worried as well, I hope they find out what is causing them soon!

HappyGowerGirl · 26/09/2017 14:11

That sounds hard Hair hope your bro is okay x

leesmum · 26/09/2017 15:24

Hairspray hope your brother finds out what is causing the seizures, worrying times for you and your family though x

leesmum · 26/09/2017 15:27

Paws and Quim you can do it ladies 💪
Where on earth is BOOP we need some motivational chat for the last few days in September Smile

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 26/09/2017 15:41

How scary, hope your brother is ok Hairspray!

QuimReaper · 26/09/2017 20:46

Oh God, how horrible Hairspray, so sorry to hear that.

Much better day here - 23K steps and hardly any food so far, about to make some soup Smile Really struggling with will power though!

ponygirlcurtis · 26/09/2017 21:25

Oh no Hairspray, your poor brother. Hope he's doing OK and they get to the bottom of the issue soon. It won't affect his apprenticeship will it? Flowers for you and your family.

HappyGowerGirl · 27/09/2017 06:57

60.8kg (9.8) this morning. I am inching closer towards my goal.

I'm amazed that I hardly crave sweet stuff now that I've stopped eating it! Feeling pretty good.

HairsprayBabe · 27/09/2017 07:50

10.4 -2lbs for the month, with three days to go... annoyed at myself for overdoing it at the weekends 2 weeks in a row when I was down to 10.2 and could have been on for the whole 7lbs this month!

Well they got back from the hospital at about half nine last night and he promptly had another fit...

It shouldn't affect his apprenticeship really, it should go as an occupational health thing but if he is having multiple fits a day it would be hard to see how he could work around that.

Hoping they get to the bottom of it soon Sad

HappyGowerGirl · 27/09/2017 08:35

Oh no Hair your poor bro🙁

QuimReaper · 27/09/2017 12:16

Well done Happy, you're doing so well! How much have you lost so far? You seem to be making really steady progress.

ponygirlcurtis · 27/09/2017 12:20

Well done Happy - I found that re sweet stuff too. Smile

What a worry for you and your family Hairspray. Sad

TVHubbyClaire · 27/09/2017 12:52

Thats excellent happy I really wish I could lose my sweet stuff habit but i never get there Sad

I do hope your brother is ok hairspray definitely a worrying time for you all

Another week in hotel with no scales so will have to wait for Friday to weigh in. I am trying to be good (if not golden) and have minimal food during the day as I am having eggs (and toast and sausage...Blush ) in the morning

Managing to do 10,000 steps a day. Not expecting any great losses though, so I guess a Friday weight of 12st 7 would be good, there is always a new month and thread to get to 12st 4 Hmm

HappyGowerGirl · 27/09/2017 13:10

Oh no it's hard when you're in a hotel TV! Nice work on the steps though.

Thanks Quim this month I have lost 6lb so far, but I've lost 10lb in total since coming back from Holiday end of August.

I know it seems I'm making good progress but I've had SO many false starts over the last few months... Feeling exhausted, then eating sugary crap to wake myself up, then drinking wine as I was already having a "bad food day". It was really that cycle that I wanted to break (sugar leading to more sugar leading to wine leading to more sugar).

So far so good. I honestly feel so much better than I did a month ago so I'm hoping I can keep it up.

HappyGowerGirl · 28/09/2017 07:07

Was pretty good yesterday but then it took 3 hours to get my children to go to bed, there were a lot of tears! Needless to say after that I cracked open the wine and crisps...

Softpebbles · 28/09/2017 07:23

Sounds like you are doing a great job TV.

Well done Hairspray - you will have a loss this month. I hope your brother is ok. Must be worrying.

Happy - wow you are doing well. I've been trying to be focused for months and just keep failing. Have lost 7lbs since my highest weight but still have another 8. 😫 This would put me comfortably in 10's and hopefully back into my favourite seven for mankind jeans and a nice skirt I have for winter. Fingers crossed!

KOKO good luck with low carb boot camp.

Where is everyone. It seems so quiet on here. Everyone is either really focused or lost the will!!

Anyone fancy actually logging what they eat to help get focused?

Hi to all those I have missed - Quim, leesman, spurious, poors.
X

HairsprayBabe · 28/09/2017 08:05

10.4 2 more days to lose a little bit more but...

We are out for dinner tonight DP's colleagues are having a leaving do for him and I have been invited.

We are also out on Friday for FILs birthday.

Have already planned what I am having tonight, not sure where we are going with PIL's but there is usually something suitable on menu!

Won't be able to weigh in on Sunday as am staying at my parents again and her scales are on the forgiving side.

Dbro dislocated his shoulder in his second fit on Monday and has damaged the ball in the joint and may now need an operation to repair it, he seems in good spirits my parents anxiety levels are through the roof!

TV skip the toast and have bacon, calories are lower and you won't get the carb spike, especially bad first thing in the morning as we are all more insulin resistant then!
