With 15 weeks untill the beginning of December I'm aiming to lose 1 pound a week. First weigh in tomorrow - anyone want to join me?

Checking in

Day three for me. I was so hungry when I went to bed last night but am not feeling too hungry this morning. The no sugar headache has really kicked in but I'm not working today so it could be worse.

I made a lovely soup yesterday with all the veg that needed using up and didn't have any bread with it.

I am feeling a lot more positive and it is so nice not waking up with the guilt from the previous nights chocolate binge. It's saving me a fortune and I intend to get myself a little treat of the beauty product variety when I go to town later.

I can't wait until weigh day on Saturday.

dewberries · 21/08/2017 08:12

Titsalina it is the law to eat cake on a birthday. It is a celebration. I guess the trick is not to have three slices like I usually would.

Sparrowlegs248 · 21/08/2017 08:28

I've just weighed, still the same but I think.this is down to the difference in scales, pretty sure last time I was weighing mums were lighter than mine.

NaughtyElephants · 21/08/2017 09:31

Hi all, would you mind if I tagged in to this too please? Always late to the party Blush

I lost a stone last year but after maintaining for months and months have put 1/2 back on and am 12.7. My actual target weight is 11.5 initially with a view to get to 11 overall. But those last few pounds are a killer so I want to set myself the 2 targets so as to keep motivated.

I started my new regime fri, did 5k run & kept under calls on mfp. Swam 600m sat & kept to cals. Ran 5k yest and will do the same after work tonight. Feeling motivated! But would love some morale boosts from a group so was happy to stumble across you lovelies....if you'll have me Grin

dewberries · 21/08/2017 09:51

Naughty you sound really motivated. It is definitely helping me being able to post on a thread where we are all in the same fat boat. Grin

AIMGA · 21/08/2017 11:04

Hello Naughty , you are definitely welcome and inspiring me to get myself back on the cross trainer!!

My first 1/2 stone is easy (ha!!) to shift with diet but the second 1/2 will take some serious exercise too. Need all the motivation I can get!!

Am in.

smellylittleorange · 21/08/2017 11:37

Oooh lost 2lbs last week now and 222lbs or 15st 12. I need to do the Couch to 5k again !! or just download some music get out and run . I managed it last April ( well 30 mins non stop) but did not enjoy it at all)

NaughtyElephants · 21/08/2017 13:28

Thanks for letting me in!

Def have to run tonight now as I ate a Brie & cranberry sandwich for lunch with a huge quantity of Brie - damn work canteen being generous with fillings for once

Sparrowlegs248 · 21/08/2017 15:25

Quick check in, got weighed at hone this am. 13St 3 the same as on mums scales Thursday.

Got weighed at mums, her scales, are in the downstairs loo. Last time the scales were on the mat. No mat this time, 13St 6!! Took them into the kitchen, 12St 10!!!

Lost 10lbs between the toilet and kitchen. So, will stick with my home scales and maybe try mums again next time the mat is still down.

KnitFastDieWarm · 21/08/2017 15:45

Haha nottalotta I always weigh myself in the kitchen because it's apparently the only room in the house where I don't lose or gain 10lb depending on which bit of the floor I'm on Grin

dewberries · 21/08/2017 16:11

I recently had my scales repaired and they told me that for scales to be accurate they should be placed on a hard floor and not moved at all. I am eleven pounds heavier when the scales are on carpet.

starlight36 · 21/08/2017 19:44

Wow - I'm going to re-weigh using the scales on the tiled bathroom floor rather than in the bedroom tomorrow. Fingers crossed I'm a bit lighter already.

Not the greatest weekend as had homemade pizzas yesterday but a bit better today. Museli and yoghurts for breakfast, salad sandwich on wholemeal bread and an apple for lunch and courgette spaghetti for tea. Only the smallest bit of DS's baked biscuits so far this evening....

Sparrowlegs248 · 21/08/2017 19:59

I'm starving again!!

Shreddies for breakfast, normal sized (rather than massive) bowl.
Banana and apple
Prawn salad for lunch. Nice, but not filling for long.
Packet of belvita biscuits as was hungry and I eat late, after DC are in bed.

Tuna pasta bake, yet to go in oven!! 40 minutes.

d270r0 · 21/08/2017 20:06

I always use my wii fit to weigh myself on. Its the same every time and I love that it shows your weight loss on a graph and makes you feel good about it. I have it in the living room and weigh first thing in the morning when naked!

Sparrowlegs248 · 21/08/2017 20:13

Anyone up for a stats list? I'll do one if so. Weekly update. Like this:

Nottalotta sw 13St 3. Tw 10St 10. Twl 3lb tl 7lb

Sw - starting weight
Tw - target weight
Twl - this week's loss
Tl - total loss.

Or something.

TitsalinaBumSquash · 21/08/2017 20:28

I've stuck within calories today (just!) but it's been a carby day so I'm aiming to have way less carbs tomorrow.
I'll start with eggs and then a salad for lunch since I'll be out and about with the kids and then plan a lower carb dinner.
I like to set myself a daily challenge and that's tomorrow's, today's was to go for a walk, even though it was raining. We took the dog for an hour around a local nature reserve.

Here's my stats.

Titsalina - MFP Calorie counting.

Starting Weight - 160lbs
First Goal - 140lbs
End Goal - 130lbs
Current weight - 156lbs
Total weight lost - 4lbs

AIMGA · 21/08/2017 20:31

Yep ,- I'm definitely up for a stats list!

My weigh in is Wednesday...I resisted a brownie today but sulked as DH and DC still had the audacity to eat one Grin. Had a healthy tea but ate too much of it...was already full before I sat down to eat my plateful as had picked at it so much whilst cooking.

OP posts:
pfrench · 21/08/2017 20:48

I'm not weighing, will make sure the picture of my fat self doesn't identify me, but it's underwear, so be warned! Will take another one on Thursday morning and post them both.

Stuck to cals today, but doing urgent flat pack furniture tonight instead of running, so a bit crap.

theancientmarinader · 21/08/2017 20:57

My scales are synced with my Fitbit account too. If I could rewind time back 12 months, my graph would be lovely, a nice gentle downward slope. Now it looks like the bloody Himalayas.
Hey ho.
Dragged my body blitz diet out and reminded myself. Will get a workout in this afternoon as all three kids will be out of the house.

NaughtyElephants · 21/08/2017 22:23

Thanks Notta a stats chart is a great idea. Love a good spreadsheet Grin

SW 12st7
TW 11st
TWL 0 - as yet, only started fri so fingers crossed for a pound off come this fri.

My scales also tell me I'm 29% fat, would like to get that down to under 25% but I'm large of boob so not sure on the logistics of that ambition

everyonesgotanopinion · 22/08/2017 08:07

Love the stats idea, Just back from an indulgent weekend away but lots of walking and focused now.

SW: 10 4
TW: 9 7
WL: 0 - weigh in Friday

I would like to join, please. I did WW for years and always managed to lose the weight, but I would stop going to meetings and I would regain- and then some! I'm following MFP and 30DS this time (from next week - long story) I've about 20lbs to lose, starting at 165lbs. I did attempt to join another weight-loss thread, but lost motivation. I'll weigh in on Saturdays and update then, as I'm useless at posting regularly! Good luck to everyone!
