With 15 weeks untill the beginning of December I'm aiming to lose 1 pound a week. First weigh in tomorrow - anyone want to join me?

This next few days is going to be manic for me, DS1 is in hospital today for 3 days for routine iv antibiotics, then I'll be doing them at home for 2 weeks, so I'll have all 4 kids on the ward all day today and they're already driving me mad! (Must avoid kind nurses with biscuits)

Then tomorrow I will have MIL here all day looking after the kids while I work 6 shifts, I also ha e an infected wound from some surgery I had that I need to get sorted and then I have my nieces for the rest of the holidays while my sister works.

I might end up weeping in a corner somewhere shovelling cake into my mouth.

Lots of lovely food posts on here! Yum.

Well done you everyone losing weight, and big chin up and game on face to those struggling. You can do it!

Fell into a bag of those delicious sea salt and lime tortilla chIpswich last night whilst watching GoT. Had to distract myself at times and no food came to my rescue! However otherwise an okay day.

Today I am on it and going to be quite strict. Had a banana and a pint of water, walked 10k steps, had a coffee (but no cake) in local coffee shop whilst I read a chapter of my book. Having salad for lunch, and salmon, sweet potato wedges and corn on the cob for dinner. All planned out and no deviation allowed. Will also try to get in another 5k steps.

amroc18 · 29/08/2017 12:31

Sorry been a bit quiet, I majorly fell off the wagon this weekend. I know I shouldn't have but used my birthday on Sunday as an excuse to scoff on choccy and booze. I am now regretting it with a 3lb gain so even more to recover for Christmas. Am a bit cross with myself Angry

However, have been reading through how well everyone is doing and feeling very inspired. Have had eggs for breakfast and dinner tonight will be smoked salmon, jacket and salad so very much back on the wagon.

NaughtyElephants · 29/08/2017 13:51

Tits look after yourself, that sounds a lot to be dealing with!

And pfench don't panic, you can totally power through this. Although sometimes I find a good tailspin is helpful to reset reality.

I've absolutely knackered myself - ran this morn even though I wanted a lie in. Ate right. All good. Then whilst giving the kids pony rides managed to get my foot stepped on by said pony. Was wearing flip flops Hmm and my foot looks nasty. But I can't afford to cut back on exercise, not when it's been going so well and that's the best way to manage my diet so I don't feel deprived of anything. Gah.

Sparrowlegs248 · 29/08/2017 16:43

Did that with a cranky toddler and hyper baby........

Sparrowlegs248 · 29/08/2017 16:56

I've been pretty good, yesterday had Branflakes, tuna salad (with mayo......) for lunch, (I was out at the seaside, no chips, no cake, no hot donuts, no ice cream!!) apple and banana. Muller light. Got home to find d mil had made lasagne and dropped it round, I had a small portion with loads of salad.

Today, Branflakes, Apple, banana, Weatherspoons lunch, chicken and pepper skewers, salad and Mexican rice. Go me! Seriously impressed with myself.

dewberries · 29/08/2017 17:06

I've been to two bbq's and a dinner out over the weekend and messed up spectacularly. I've had loads of alcohol and too many bad foods to list. Shoot me now!

Today however I am back on the plan and being good. My weigh day was last Saturday and after my binge extravaganza I have gained two pounds of my four pounds previously lost. Only myself to blame, I have suitably beaten myself up Smile

TitsalinaBumSquash · 29/08/2017 17:58

So I didn't manage to overcome the stress of today and have managed to go over my calories by probably 350 ish. Oh well. Must try harder tomorrow. 😬

Sierra259 · 29/08/2017 22:21

Don't beat yourself up tits, it sounds like things are really stressful for you at the moment. Hope it calms down soon.

Have done ok today. Came in under my calorie goal on MFP but didn't do as much exercise as I would have liked. By the time DH got home it was too late to get on the exercise bike before dinner. At work the next 2 days now which is always easier for me to be strict with myself. Very low carb day planned for tomorrow.

Hope everyone's had a good day.

d270r0 · 29/08/2017 22:29

Have finally had a good day foodwise- lets hope tomorrow can be too.
I had no breakfast, lunch Salmon salad, grapes and a couple of handfuls of popcorn, Dinner Salmon with potatoes, veg and gravy. And a choc-ice.
Am pleased with that.

Sparrowlegs248 · 29/08/2017 22:37

Had a bit more of a read through to catch up, sounds like we are all generally on the right track.

Tits - I'd count that as a success tbh! Well done for not caving and eating the entire hospital shop!

I ventured into town today with the littlies strapped in the double buggy. Ended up having lunch at Weatherspoons, all was not lost though, chicken and pepper skewers with side salad and Mexican rice. Still cones in at over 800 calories apparently but the best choice.

Had some sort of stir fry concoction this evening. Courgette, mushrooms, spring onions, peppers, bit of rice and an egg. All good then made an apple and blackberry crumble and had some with custard. Not so good, but it was a conscious choice and I'm happy that I had it. It was bloody lovely, small portion. Im hoping it didn't mess my week up. Weigh in Thursday, please let there be a loss!! I must be on at least half the calories I was eating before!!

AIMGA · 30/08/2017 08:45

Well done notta and you too tits - it's a tough situation for you and 350 cals is really not so bad!!

My scales have broken!! Went to weigh in this morning and they won't turn on Angry

Sparrowlegs248 · 30/08/2017 09:03

Oh no Aimga!! Disaster! I got on mine this morning and it's showing a measly 3/4 of a pound loss. I feel slimmer though and two people have remarked on it. Still it's discouraging as normally I lose a lot in the first two weeks (up to ten pounds previously)

36plusandtrying · 30/08/2017 09:36

Food so far 797 calories plus managed to gain 400 through my run today. So have about 800/900 left for supper ... nearly bought wine on the way home but managed to talk myself out of it - just.

Sparrowlegs248 · 30/08/2017 11:51

Just got in and was feeling starving. Had glass of water, cup of tea and banana and feel OK now.

Going away next week Monday to Friday with my mum and the babies. Me, mum and sister are all trying to diet. They do SW except they don't really, they lose and regain the same stone over and over. I know mum will want to 'enjoy' herself which means nice(bad) food, so I'm going to have to really keep at it. I don't mind the odd treat but it's likely to be eating out twice a day, cake, ice cream etc.

I think I'm going to allow myself one 'treat' a day. Which will probably be wine!

36plusandtrying · 30/08/2017 12:08

Good choice of snack notta - good luck with the trip that sounds hard ! I managed to avoid the wine tonight and had a brown rice risotto thing ... which was YUM and all in about 500 cal under for the day and feel stuffed. So a cuppa and maybe some strawberries then abs work out then bed !!

Sparrowlegs248 · 30/08/2017 12:32

Lunch!

Yum !! I miss rivita

Sparrowlegs248 · 30/08/2017 12:44

Where are you 36? I like the Multigrain ones.

36plusandtrying · 30/08/2017 12:49

I'm on OZ, can get them here but I've given up wheat for a month to kick start the weight loss .... would do anything for a cracker, bit of toast or pint right now !

FuckingHateRats · 30/08/2017 13:02

Notta are the stats start weight /target weight/wk1 loss/wk2 loss etc? Mine should be 12st 8.25/ 11st / 1.75lb / 1lb or if I've got the format wrong apologies and ignore me!

Everyone seems to be doing well. Tits you're dealing with so much! Be kind to yourself.

Doing okay here. Will weigh in on Sat this week as I'm going to see my friend for a Saturday day/night getaway and I want to have some time to redeem myself before weigh in!

Sparrowlegs248 · 30/08/2017 13:34

It's start weight, goal weight, this week's loss, total loss.

I caught up yesterday, updated a lot with a toddler and baby on at me so apologies if it's wrong! Feel free to copy and paste!
