With 15 weeks untill the beginning of December I'm aiming to lose 1 pound a week. First weigh in tomorrow - anyone want to join me?

I'm exhausted today, I have the last 2 of 50 visits this week to do in an hour (I'm a home-carer for the elderly) I think I may come home bung a tuna steak in a pan and have with salad and the disappear into a hot bubble bath with a G&T. 😴😴😴😴

I have no excuses either today. I weighed in at 11st 2 so was a pound down, had a lovely turkey salad for lunch and then this afternoon reached for the crisps and chocolate. Feel like I keep sabotaging myself!

I was very tempted to just say sod it and order pizza or another takeaway but I know i be hating myself if I weigh on Monday and I've gained so that's all that's stopping me. I could go a kebab with garlic sauce about now!

I have had friends over for a bbq- and eaten lots today also. No food for me for the rest of the day! I just have no willpower if the foods just there in front of me! And lots of bad food left in the house to try to avoid.

Massive swim today again, then some ridiculous hanging on a rope behind a speedboat. Couldn't get in to own wetsuit, oh the shame!

I had a breakfast bagel with ham, egg and avo this morning... meant a smaller lunch. Red chicory salad with Roquefort and toasted walnuts, bloody lovely. Dinner looking dodgy... spinach, feta and tofu pie - how do I work out cals in that? Might just have a tiny bit and leave it at that probably won't though

Love how many avocado addicts there are on the thread, and admiring the food loveliness!!
I am in limbo and a bit grumpy. Went for my gp appointment yesterday after being pointed that way by the optometrist, and he ordered all the tests. So had to fast this morning and go and get my bloods, urinalysis and ECG done at the hospital. Results all next week but as expected my BP was, erm, a tad high. So I'm limited to walking until all the results are back. Gp has booked me in for a full review. I really like him, but they are uber-cautious. Last time I had a full work up done they referred me on for investigation for chronic kidney disease (which turned out to be nothing at all, but I still had to wait for six months of testing before they told me that lol).
Managed to get pork tenderloin in the slow cooker before I went to the hospital (trying a new recipe) and will have it with sweet potato and greens, and there should be leftovers for salad lunches for a couple of days.
Am going to see if I get my ten thousand steps in today as I'm not allowed to do anything else. Grin
Grump. Moan.
Dh is away though, so I get the whole bed. Grin

Soooo think that's correct!! Added marmalade and updated losses for those who've had weigh ins.

I am going out tomorrow with the kiddiwinkles, and bloody husband. But as soon as I get the new scales out and find batteries I'll get on and use that as a starting weight.

Foodwise, not too bad today. I'm skint so using up stuff and did some sort of beef casserole thing I'd frozen, for husband, but there was loads so I had it too. We'll, I had the veg out of it with jacket spud, more veg and the gravy. Not at all suitable for this horrible warm weather.

Spent a couple of hours at the field with the ponies earlier so that counts as a bit of exercise I think!

Do I get a fitbit?! Might be able to persuade mother to buy one for my birthday. Now ice got a double buggy I can walk faster than a snails paced toddler!

Hi can I join please? I don't want to lose a lot but I am getting a tum & today it was a squeeze sitting on a swing at the park. I am 11 stone & aiming for 10 stone 7 to start with. I really need to get back to exercising too. My body looked the best it had in my life when I was doing karate & Pilates but at the mo I do nothing 😞. My main weakness is biscuits & sometimes crisps. Rubbish at eating enough fruit & veg too!

Ooh, am I too late to join in for weigh ins? I've started running recently and will be following the Harcombe diet from Tuesday (I'm allowing myself the Bank Holiday to drink wine and eat crap!). A weekly weigh in will help me stick to it....

I'm 10st 2lb today and would like to be 9st ish by Christmas.

Added you both, if you weigh in weekly post your result and I'll update. You've got start weight, goal weight, this week's loss, total loss. Everyone weighing different days so just make it clear if it's a proper weigh in so I see to update!

I exist downloaded my fitness pal, and am Nottalotta on there too.

Put in today's food as well as I could, I was 500 calories over! It's got me on 1400 a day. Should I add some for breastfeeding?

Going to try hard to get some exercise in. It's hard with the two little ones.

I vaguely recall breastfeeding uses 300-500 calories above what your body requires. I just checked in my leaf app which has breastfeeding as a listed activity. It lists 30 minutes as burning 77 calories...but that may be specific to my height/weight that are programmed in. You will def need some additional calories to compensate for breastfeeding though otherwise you might impact your supply.

Pretty dire day yesterday, although they were all conscious choices I made and not "oh fuck how did I eat all that without realising?". Had my eldest on his own for a bit so we walked t the beach and had coffee and cake (milkshake and cake for him). My husband has lost a stone in five weeks and was gasping for a night off, and the kids were so you for a takeaway and a film that I relented. Had lots of veggies with my Chinese but still probably too much food. Saving grace, if it even counts, is I walked a lot. Know I've probably set tomorrow's weigh in back but it was enjoyed and will draw a line under it.

Today I'm meeting friends for brunch but will try to make good choices. In fact might have breakfast at home.and then just have a coffee there. Just me and then here the kids for dinner, might have stir fry with lots of veggies and beansprouts.

Hi, can I join please? I had set myself a goal to lose 1 stone by Christmas so have been working on that for just over a week now. I've been feeling unhappy with my weight and how I look for a while now and something just snapped the other week.

I weighed 11st 12 when I started and have lost 2lb as of yesterday so currently 11st 10. My goal is to get under 11st again initially. Mainly I have cut right back on sugar (especially chocolate), am drinking loads more water and trying to have more low/no carb meals during the week, plus exercising more. DH is on board for the same goal so that's really helpful!

Ok, so I slipped and had wine yesterday but kept within my calorie allowance!
Did 6 miles this morning then junior parkrun so am knackered. Just had eggs royale Blush but will try to stay on track for the rest of the day!
