Hi you lot, apologies for not reading through all the thread but I've spent the best part of the last 24hrs washing and ironing 4 suitcases full of washing
I had a fantastic holiday and every meal out and glass of wine was worth it...but I haven't weighed myself yet because I'm sure there's a fair bit of damage
So I'm back on it after weekend and it'll go eventually.

I was fairly surprised to see kids in school uniform in August.

The guys in the local tesco had to adjust the way they spoke so I could understand them.

I wish i had booked hold baggage just so i could bring back more sweeties from here.

My weight has been a bit up and down this week, but I'm now hovering about 3.5lbs above my lowest weight so far. I'm just hoping I can stay stable over the weekend, because the weekends are what have damaged my progress for the last three months couple of weeks.

Welcome back Leesmum Don't worry about holiday gain too much, a few golden days will knock it on the head, and we can't live like monks all the time!

10.5 this morning, so back at the start of the month for me, pretty happy with that as I have no major plans this weekend or next so should be able to get a really good golden streak in and end up on a "real" loss for this month!

BIL is moving home from Cardiff in the Autumn, he broke up with his BF about 6 months ago, is perpetually skint and spends every other weekend either in Brum, Manchester or London, so feels it is not worth it! He is great fun to have about but I nearly always end up 9 cocktails deep with him, so this could be a potential diet risk!

Back from an amazing few days at my cousin's house. Ate and drank far too much. Definitely need a fast day today!

I gained so much weight, lost 3 stone but still have a lot to lose and I'm becoming a little disheartened as I have stopped losing really. I'm 5ft 8, 11stone 11lbs, my waist is 32.5inch. I really feel quite rubbish about myself!

Hi MrBloom welcome I the same when I joined, lost a decent ammount but still wanted to loose a lot more and was feeling dusheartened.
Your stats aren't to high, try not to be to harsh in your self, 3st is a great acheivement! Are you following a particular plan?

10.6 for me ate super late last night and was really nibbly all evening [sigh]

No, I am attempting low carbing but I'm quite useless at it, because carbs is my downfall! Anyone got any tips?

Hello MrBloomIsActuallyAttractive I heartily agree, I think plateaus are fairly common, especially after losing lots. Keep at it even if you aren't losing right now, it will happen. My loss is excruciatingly slow!

Starting to have a little hope now, who knew something so little like talking to a few people who have been or are experiencing the same would make me feel so much better?!

Does anyone else beat themselves up when they've smacked or had something bigger than they needed though? That's one of my biggest problems, I beat myself up and punish myself for ages afterwards.

I'm still here but still have no internet in my new house. Doing ok but broke my scales in the move so need to replace them really
