I am starting a new job in September and I am 2 stone overweight .

Obviously I won't lose all of it in 6 weeks but maybe a stone is possible ?

I was doing so well , I was running 3 times a week and eating like a normal person but this last few weeks have been very busy socially and I have let everything slide ( including the scales in the wrong drection )

My plan is to get out for a run or to the gym 4 times a week.
Knock the booze on the head Mon -thurs
Eat like a slim person would.
Drink more water.

Anyone who has a spare kick is also welcome.

This dropped off active but I'm back from holiday and after a few days of sensible eating im back to my pre holiday weight.

Onwards and downwards!

I'm still going too! I haven't seen any difference in the scales but I'm feeling less bloated and happier in myself. I've completely cut the junk food out but otherwise I am sticking to my normal meals, which are fairly healthy anyway. I still need to crack the exercise - my tummy is actually looking saggier now it's not as bloated - bloody c-sections!

Yup still going here too. Have completed 3 days of the shred since Monday, and also one run and one swim. Day 4 of the shred today. Have been within my points allowance every day, and had lots of fruit and veg. No difference in the scales yet (waaaaah!) but I do feel better and a bit more toned so trying to ignore the lack of weight loss for now. KOKO everyone!

Still going here too - I feel really grotty though, I think I'm coming on my period and am maybe a touch anaemic as I just have Zero energy.

Still doing bootcamps and my diet is good, so going to try get some vitamins as well see if that helps.

Keep on going everyone! We can do this!

I'm still trying.
Tried on my wedding dress just now and it does up easier, I can move my arms lol and looks a lot better.
It didn't do up at all before so I'm really happy and feel super motivated.
I've cut cola out this week and hate to admit I think it's made a big difference

Hey everyone I'm still here too. I had a bit of a sulk over the weekend as the scales still weren't moving ( although I had a vision of th moving out of the bedroom window Angry). Anyway been really good and scales going in the right direction again. I've lost 4 lbs since Monday. I do not understand the logic of my body sometimes. 18 pounds to loose in 5 weeks. Not sure how achievable that will be but I won't be disappointed with a stone instead. Hope your all ok 👌 xx

4lbs since Monday is absolutely brilliant! Well done! I'm just home from bootcamp and had to stop at parts as I thought I was going to be sick. Have lost 2.4lbs so far, but I really want to lose 5 by Monday.

In other news, I'm going on a date on Tuesday - I'm not meant to be drinking or eating anything except chicken and rice though so not sure how to play this!

Well done Katy - great loss! I am sulking as the scales have STILL not moved, however I feel better so just need to KOKO. Day 5 of the shred done this afternoon, and going to try to get out for a run later too

Thank you ninja and Betty. Betty it's the hardest thing to stay positive when the scales don't or won't budge. But they have to eventually. Careful over doing the workouts though wags mum finger at you. Ninja well done !! If you go for a second date and you really like them please don't cook your lettuce wrapsGrinGrin I have been giggling to myself when I think of those. Ingenious really .....

Afternoon all! Exercise lecture noted - don't worry! I'm being good really. The deal of my weight loss challenge thingy is 3 bootcamps a week and 2 independent work outs..... my independent work out today was a walk on the beach 🙈😂 have my next weigh in tomorrow and am desperate to have lost 4lbs, ideally 5. Am currently on 3 though so think I'm clutching at straws Grin it's all good though, no matter what, its steps in the right direction!

How's everyone found the weekend? I always struggle more at this time. Damn kids and their lovely tasting food tempt me!

My weekend was good for once as had no social plans which made things a lot easier. I did end up having lunch out on Friday, Saturday and Sunday Blush but chose sensible (ish!) options and pointed everything. Weighed this morning and have finally lost, but only 1lb! Determined to just KOKO though and try not to weigh myself for a few days. Going for a 30min run at lunchtime and then have day 8 of the shred to do at some point later. Have a good Monday all!

Can I join too? I have 3 stone to lose. I've been on medication and have piled the weight on in 2 years. Off of the meds now and something has to be done. I'm eating sensibly but the weight isn't shifting so must start exercising too. It's so disheartening to have a really good week and the scales not move. I've even cut out wine completely.

How is everyone getting on? I am still doing really well with food and exercise, scales still not shifting though Angry had a good non scale victory though yesterday - was able to wear a pair of trousers that I haven't been able to fit into for ages. Need to measure myself today as I may start to track inch loss rather than weight loss, as that doesn't seem to be moving!

Met a couple of friends for dinner last night in pizza express and had one of those leggera pizzas with the hole in the middle and extra salad, and just one small glass of wine Halo was nicely full afterwards and half calories of a proper pizza!

Hello! I'm still here too - I'm very impressed with the pizza option Betty, I would give my left arm for dough balls and pizza right now!

I'm doing okay - had my weigh in on Monday and was a bit disappointed. I'd wanted to lose the 10lbs and was at 9.8 - so close yet so far! I had a mini rebellion and went to the pub, but was relatively good in that I had a whole baby chicken (not the 150g I was meant to eat! Haha!) and sweet potato fries.

Missed bootcamp yesterday but have done 2 this week already and some personal training today.

It's hard keeping the Motivation - I'm back on plan today and would love another 3lbs off by mondays weigh in, but I'm not convinced it will happen. Waaahhhh! Why did I let myself get so fat in the first place?!

I'm impressed too Betty, my weight loss has stalled big time after a trip to Bruges!! Not sure why I thought I might lose weight with a holiday in the home of chocolate, waffles and frites?!

9.8lb is still great Ninja, have you enjoyed (if enjoyed is the right word!) the bootcamp? I did enjoy my clean eating week once I got into the swing of it and stopped sulking about not having Diet Coke. Oh and I have no idea how I let myself pile on the pounds either, but try not to think about it or I end up even more disappointed, and reach for the chocolate and/ or wine to forget Confused

I'm using My fitness pal and trying to get out walking more. I'm weighing myself tomorrow so fingers crossed that I've lost something. I've stuck to 1200 cals but I made so many wrong choices yesterday. Back on track today though.

I totally lost it last week - had a curry, 2 pints and 5 fig rolls which I shouldn't have..... that said, I weighed in this morning and lost another 1.5lbs, so in 3 weeks I've lost 11.3. I HAVE to lose 20lbs over 6 weeks to get my money back on this gym challenge, so need 2.9lbs off each week now. Gulp!!!

Going back to the gym now for bootcamp..... come on everyone, summer is nearly over, we can do this!

Wow great loss still ninja! Good luck for weigh in tomorrow richtea.

I haven't weighed myself since last weds/thurs and not planning to weigh myself until at least Friday now. I was getting too depressed that the numbers weren't moving so really hoping for a decent loss by then.

I have now done 14 days of the shred. Day 15 and a 30 minute run today. Have had fruit and yoghurt for breakfast and meals planned for the rest of the day.

I have stuck to my diet plan and training religiously - am really hoping for a bigger loss this week as I need 3lbs to hit my target. Gulp!!

Well done ninja! Yes still not weighed yet, planning to leave it till Saturday - I will seriously cry if I haven't lost anything though. Still being relatively good food wise (slight incident with some chilli peanut yesterday! Blush) and now done 17 days straight of the 30 day shred. Swim last night and I ran on Monday. Day 18 of the shred today and another run either today or tomorrow.

I don't feel any thinner Confused

How did you get on yesterday with weigh in Betty? Well done SO much on the shred! I've discovered mini hilt work outs on amazon prime so am slowly working my way through those, they are small fry compared to Jillian though!

I really want to have lost 15lbs since I started (4 weeks!) at my weigh in tomorrow. My scales say 14.1lbs lost though so need to amputate a few toes or something.

Ds is poorly so he's in my bed watching me do workouts. He is off his food which is helping me not pick. So selfless of him to get the lurgy now Grin

1.5lbs of ninja. Would have liked more but finally under 10st10lbs which had become a bit of a barrier. Also TOM right now which may not have helped. Had a good weekend good and exercise wise. Not weighing again till Friday. Didnday 21 of the shred today! Am gutted as we are going away camping on Friday so I am only going to make 26 days of the shred before the wedding. I will have to try to get some runs in whilst we are away.

14lbs is fabulous ninja! What time is your weigh in tomorrow? Hopefully that extra lb will disappear overnight!

Morning everyone your all doing so well. Well my total weigh loss is now 27.5 pounds and today I was in a new stone which is very encouraging!!!! Still only doing it by controlling my food. I think if I did the level of exercise your all doing I'd drop down dead. However think it will be time soon for my treadmill to be dusted off Grin
