1lb off today. That's a lot of bloody work and a lot of steps for one Linda. Still a loss though so ok I suppose.

Hope everyone has a good week. Got a couple of meals out next week which will be difficult, one at Nando's (I love their carrot cake).

lastqueenofscotland · 11/06/2017 22:57

I fear this weekend may have been a disaster. Nothing foody social for about 2 weeks now though so can knuckle down a bit again

HairsprayBabe · 12/06/2017 07:16

Morning all, 10.9 this morning +3lbs over the weekend, but I was very nibbly the whole time, baked a beaut of a cake for my DDads birthday, but it was hardly diet friendly!
But I believe this may be my lowest Monday weight todate, possibly so a few golden days should head off that gain and I'll be on for a decent actual loss this week!

Softpebbles · 12/06/2017 07:32

Well done hairspray.

Not a terrible weekend but not great either! Will weigh in on weds - although I am due my period this week so I don't expect miracles. Feel so tired.

Last - back on it - you can do this 😀

Squidgy well done on the NSV. I hadn't had one until my bras being a little looser last week!

Poor a lb is a lb. x

lastqueenofscotland · 12/06/2017 08:27

Well the scales this morning were scary Blush

I've been shit the last two weeks so was to be expected.
Head back in the game.

HairsprayBabe · 12/06/2017 08:34

I have just booked another holiday at the end of September, usually the month it all goes to pot for me as summer is over and I just want to eat stews and baked potatoes etc!

Off to Malta for 4 days 15th-18th so fx that will keep me on track! As i head into the winter!

LosingItThisYear · 12/06/2017 08:46

Late to the party, but can I join please?

Have about 2 stones to lose, but can hopefully make a decent dent in that by the end of June. I like lowish carb/low GI eating - find that works best for me (but I really need to step away from the wine!)

TheWildRumpyPumpus · 12/06/2017 08:56

May I belatedly join?

I've lost 42lb since the beginning of the year but am off on beach holiday in 6 weeks and want to lose another half stone if I can.

HairsprayBabe · 12/06/2017 09:11

Welcome LITY and Rumpy !

OR whatever you prefer!

Do you have a method Rumpy?

Low carb seems to be the golden bullet for a lot of people LITY was for me at any rate! Very well done on your losses so far for this year!

HairsprayBabe · 12/06/2017 09:11

Sorry confused my congratulations there... you get my drift hopefuly!

Chardonnay73 · 12/06/2017 09:25

Hello strangers!! I'm still here after possibly the most horrendous few weeks of my life with these prolapsed discs Sad
I'm off all the heavy drugs now, June is about rehab and getting myself ready to go back to work mid July, will have been off since April Shock
Due to all the drugs I have actually lost 11 lbs since April, despite being effectively bedridden. The temptation to just sit and stuff my face has been huge but I'm determined to not ruin all the hard work so far!
So, 7lbs to go to hit my 3 stone goal, but it's very hard when I'm averaging 3k steps a day so having to cut my calories to 800-1000 a day to try and keep the loss going.
Hopefully as I become more active it will start to speed up.
Hope everyone is doing ok, got a lot of reading back to do!

HairsprayBabe · 12/06/2017 09:28

So glad you are on the mend Chard Flowers wishing you a speedy recovery and rehab period, back injuries are the pitts Sad

Well done on not eating through boredom, very impressive! I know I tank just 2 days at the weekend, god knows what I would be like if I wasn't at work!

TVHubbyClaire · 12/06/2017 09:32

chard - take care, sounds like an awful time you have been having

I weighed yesterday and was down to 12st 7 Smile, which is lowest since I started here. I think I began at 13st 6 so I was feeling very close to shedding a stone

Clearly I then felt like celebrating and spent 4 hours in pub (to welcome back DW from her weekend away....) before coming home for M&S chinese...result is a weigh in this morning at 12st 10 Sad

I am annoying myself with my yo yo behaviour and am now down to 2 and a bit weeks before first holiday of year with dinner out and wine already planned for Saturday

paws I follow hairspray's advice at Nandos and go for the chiken pitta and corn.....(no carrot cake though) and always find that doesnt upset the scales next morning

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 12/06/2017 11:55

Chard that sounds awful! So glad to hear you are feeling a bit better though Flowers

Welcome Losing and Rumpy!

TV that's a brilliant loss! Ignore the gain this morning, it'll most likely just be water weight.

I had a couple of days off the diet at the weekend, am on annual leave now for the next two weeks so I felt like celebrating! Having a fast day today as damage control. Not sure how successful the next couple of weeks will be for me as I am off to Italy for a few days and then I generally have lots of plans catching up with people, visiting family etc. which will involve lots of food/alcohol!

BitOutOfPractice · 12/06/2017 13:06

TV you are going round and round the same loop as me! Frustrating isn't it?

This weekend won't be any use. I have a ahem big birthday!

OP posts:
TVHubbyClaire · 12/06/2017 13:31

BOOP totally frustrating.......got myself to blame though, dam weekends always get in the way of a good plan.

I hope the birthday celebrations go well.......what will you be up to?

BitOutOfPractice · 12/06/2017 13:35

Family meal on Friday (the actual day) and then a party for friends on Saturday. Marquee in the garden! I'm so excited!

OP posts:
TVHubbyClaire · 12/06/2017 13:36

spurious - thank you, I am quite pleased and am enjoying how clothes feel and have actually come down a size in some thingsSmile

So keen to keep going and get close to 12st but I am not finding it easy, I have too little self discipline Sad

TVHubbyClaire · 12/06/2017 13:37

boop sounds fab, guessing your garden is bigger than ours, we would do well to get a 4 person tent and awning up in our one Smile

BitOutOfPractice · 12/06/2017 14:04

It'll take up most of the garden. I don't have rolling acres!

Good to see you chard.

Totally golden day for me for the first time in ever. Need to be more honest about my grazing I think

FreeNiki · 12/06/2017 19:01

Hi chard hope you're ok Flowers

Taken a couple of days off the gym.

Softpebbles · 12/06/2017 19:20

Good to hear from you chard. Well done on the right loss. Tap circumstances but I would of been so fed up I would of emotionally ate!

BOOP what time do you want us there 😂
