I was awake nearly all night. Finally gave up the ghost at nearly 4am and woke again at 6am.

I need to binge watch Orange is the New Black this evening so planning a quiet one.

HairsprayBabe · 09/06/2017 13:11

No at work finish at three though then an early night I think!

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 09/06/2017 14:00

Weighed in this morning and (miracle of miracles) I have lost another lb, so that's 10lbs in total that I have lost since joining these threads. Only 5-6ish go until I reach my goal weight! It doesn't sound like a lot but I lose weight really slowly so it will probably take until August, realistically.

Hope everyone is not too shattered after election night!

WalkersNotLays · 09/06/2017 14:40

Well done spuriouser Grin

readyforsunshine · 09/06/2017 16:57

👍 spuriouser!

readyforsunshine · 09/06/2017 16:59

Just heading out to cater a pre wedding buffet dinner, so glad it's a set up & leave job I'm exhausted. Got a lunch tomo to get up & finish prepping too

leesmum · 09/06/2017 17:05

1lb lost for me this week, going slow now but a lb a week is fine with me, am now 8.12lb so I'm happy Smile
spuriouser that's brilliant, well done 👍

FreeNiki · 09/06/2017 17:47

Had a bit of a NSV.

Went to visit my mum today and her friend arrived as I was leaving.

My mum told me later her friend remarked I had lost alot of weight.

DrMadelineMaxwell · 09/06/2017 18:25

I don't feel guilty about skipping a 'proper' dinner, but it did serve me right. Lovely chinese chicken and roast veg and I was too full to eat it. In the fridge it went!

I skip breakfast unless I feel hungry in the morning and never worry about that. In fact I feel hungrier if I have eaten it.

Today was again, no breakfast. Ham salad, cereal bar (99 cals), apple for lunch at work. Dinner was a subway sandwich courtesy of DD1 going for them now she's on study leave and wanting an excuse to go out for a walk. And a small handful of crisps.

I'm off for clubbercise tonight.

At least when I'm the biggest there, it's in the dark and noone's looking.

I am so pleased I'm not into the election, I slept through it.

NSV - I drove passed MacDonalds and I really really wanted a MacDonalds. Does that count?

Happy weekend everyone, keep on trying.

Squiffy01 · 10/06/2017 08:31

paws I think that absolutely counts! I always get very proud of myself with things like that.
Off to WW to weigh in this morning hoping I've managed to lose last weekends gain.

TeachesOfPeaches · 10/06/2017 08:47

Over the moon to wake up to a 3lb loss this morning (I weigh everyday). So that's 1.5 stone since mid-April. Although I'm a hefty 13st.7 at 5ft 3 I must admit I'm feeling quite good today Grin

readyforsunshine · 10/06/2017 09:20

So many 🏆🥇 you're smashing it! Really impressed. Still no real scales movement for me but I'm def toning up a bit. Usually I wear something long in my work trousers but I wore my shirt tucked in as my bottom is no longer outy where it should be inny!
Feeling stronger too which is really motivating me. I've had some really rubbish days when I'm ill & I still find it so hard to eat the good stuff when I'm poorly. I would think that my body would crave nutrient rich food not white carbs & fat when I have a flare but nooooooGrin

HairsprayBabe · 10/06/2017 09:23

Morning great NSV Niki and Paws!

Congrats on the 3lb loss Peaches! Gotta love a wooosh!

We had river cottage oven baked ratatoullie for tea, super delish, but takes an hour and a half to cook! So I got really nibbly lastnight, nothing carby just nuts and cheese etc. But I was a bit annoyed with myself!

Still 10.6 this morning, so only 1lb from my lowest weight so far! Damage almost repaired, and it only took a week!!! If I keep golden this weekend then fingers crossed I'll be on to be 10st by the end of the month!

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 10/06/2017 09:32

Thanks! It's nothing compared to how well some people are doing, but I am pretty pleased Grin

That's brilliant Peaches, well done!

Poorpaws that definitely counts!

lastqueenofscotland · 10/06/2017 19:02

I was shit yesterday but the wine and midnight pizza clearly worked as I was out running at 7.5 minute miles this morning!

Been good today and also skipped lunch cause me and DP are making some nice food for dinner and I'll enjoy it more.

Also done 23000 steps!

WalkersNotLays · 10/06/2017 19:11

You all seem to be doing very well and keeping on track. 👍 Well done to us all.

Weigh-in for me tomorrow late afternoon so keeping fingers crossed.

Anyone got a big tummy? Mine is disproportionately big I think. Do not want to be doing sit-ups, though I suppose I should 🙄

poorpaws · 10/06/2017 22:12

How did you do at WW Squiffy?

Treysanatomy · 11/06/2017 07:51

keep I'm wondering the same thing, I really enjoy my wine nights at the weekend. I'm thinking of limiting myself to only Friday or Saturday not both. Didn't happen this weekend!

poorpaws I carry most of my weight on my stomach, it's huge now and out of proportion to the rest of me. One of my big motivations to get the weight off is that if I don't it's only a matter of time before someone assumes I'm pregnant 🙁

Mon- Weds were golden for me this week, Thurs was ok but I've eaten and drank too much Fri and Sat as always. I find it so easy on days I work and so difficult at the weekends. I'd be much slimmer if I worked 7 days a week!

Weighing tomorrow so aiming for a golden day today.

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 11/06/2017 10:37

Queen just call it carb-loading and pretend you did it on purpose Grin

I also tend to carry weight on my upper half poorpaws, I have slim-ish arms and legs but any weight I put on goes to my tummy and boobs. I end up looking really boxy.

Squiffy01 · 11/06/2017 17:22

Sorry all mumsnet was playing up for me yesterday, did a bit long post and it got eaten I now can't be bothered typing it all again so just going to say congratulations to all the need congratulating!

Weigh went ok yesterday I had lost everything I gained last weekend (which weight watchers scales never saw) plus another 1/2. So 3 off so far this month which will all be ruined when I got to Croatia Angry

Squiffy01 · 11/06/2017 17:23

Oh and can't remember if I told you all I had a NSV of actually looking in the mirror and thinking I had lost some weight. Was all completely ruined though when I then depressed by self by going shopping for togs.
