Hairspray oooo where are you from? Don't tell me you're a Brummie or I shall be disappointed!

HairsprayBabe · 07/06/2017 18:08

Live in Birmingham now, work in Solihull and grew up in Coventry

HairsprayBabe · 07/06/2017 18:09

So catagorically not a Brummie 😂

Bluepetal1 · 07/06/2017 20:37

3 days on track so far. Which is 3 days longer than I've managed until recently! And I've dragged my sorry carcass to Zumba tonight so I've logged some exercise.

I'm returning to the fitness centre tomorrow for dance fit. I used to go regularly when I was part time, but in the mornings. Since being full time again from Oct, I've not gone. But I've bitten the bullet and gone for it.

I will ache tomorrow - but then it's clubbercise on Friday too! (Sucker for punishment).

Squiffy01 · 07/06/2017 22:38

Wow dr well done with all the exercise plans. I can't seem to find my exercise mojo.

blue hurray for another Linda down.

I was going so well until I got home and DH had a packet of crisps open. I only had a few so I know it won't cause damage but I'm just so disappointed with myself.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 07/06/2017 23:23

Fell off plan - DH got a new job! So we had pizza and crisps to celebrate. And granola square cookies.

Congrats cheddar on your DH new job.

OK I am going to do a few steps now to start the day . Also weirdly have a slightly bigger breakfast than normal . Realised at class I'm not eating enough proper food perhaps.

readyforsunshine · 08/06/2017 06:58

Yay cheddar! Def worth celebrating.
Low energy yesterday so carb craving again.
Banana porridge
Poached eggs on toast
Pb sandwich, grabbed in haste running out the door!
Tuna salad packed lunch when out in evening 😇
Yoghurt & blueberries

Squiffy01 · 08/06/2017 06:59

cheddar congrats on new job for DH.
Had a sneaky weigh in and nearly lost my weekend gain still a bit to go which is obviously good but means I won't get a real loss this week. Will have to have a golden week next week before holiday.

HairsprayBabe · 08/06/2017 08:09

Congrats to your DH Cheddar that is good news worthy of pizza!

10.9 for me, so +4lbs from my lowest weight this month now, annoying how it can all go on in two days and then take over a week to chip off completely! Still keeping on, hoping for a proper loss next week.

Going out for lunch on sunday with my family, carvery type place, so I will just have a big plate of veg - won't bother with the veggie option as they are usually pastry based diet nightmares will deff have a yorkshire pudding though

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 08/06/2017 08:17

Morning! Sounds like everyone is doing pretty well! I have been mostly fairly golden this week, but I'm going out to dinner tomorrow which may throw a spanner in the works. I have also been officially off work this week after my night shifts but I have been super busy with a project I am involved with, I am very impressed it hasn't driven me to eat large quantities of carbs. I am on annual leave for two weeks next week though, so hopefully I will be able to do more exercise and I will probably eat more too

lastqueenofscotland · 08/06/2017 08:32

I just can't keep my head in the game at the moment😭 I think it's cause I know I'll have a foodie weekend so I'm struggling to be bothered

BitOutOfPractice · 08/06/2017 09:05

Congrats to Mr Cheddar! Star

Yes yes, I'm the mad woman sitting in a service station drinking a coffee and eating a boiled egg Blush

Congrats Mr ChedderGrin

Any tips to stop the belly rumbles? I'm not hungry but my belly has been singing non stop for hours!

Should I just feed it to shut it up?

FreeNiki · 08/06/2017 11:15

Congrats Mr Cheddar.

Didn't have a nice experience with hot PT today. Didnt come talk to me or anything. I did get to stare at his legs in class though.

QuimReaper · 08/06/2017 11:18

Congrats Cheddar! And well done Blue!

I'm so hungover. I had lunch out with wine and pasta bake with wine and just now I've sat at the kitchen table and eaten all the leftover cheese straws and maltesers. They were sitting in front of me and I just couldn't stop Blush Luckily there wasn't loads. Out for sushi tonight, I guess today's a write-off Grin I'll try and hit the steps though, and will try and be good tomorrow until my evening plans roll around...!

TVHubbyClaire · 08/06/2017 11:37

cheese straws and maltesers at 11am ....way to go Quim,

My weigh in this morning was down a couple of Lindas at 12st 8 again which was a relief. I am hoping for a very virtuous weekend with no alcohol and lots of fresh air for DS and I while DW is away to see Robbie Williams

A new job is definitely an acceptable reason to eat and not think of consequences, I'm sure you enjoyed it cheddar

HairsprayBabe · 08/06/2017 11:40

I worry I may be addicted to the scales, can anyone give me tips on how to wean myself off daily weighing? The only time I don't weigh is if I am away from home or if I am hideously hungover!

kaytee87 · 08/06/2017 11:56

hairspray put them up somewhere high or at the back of a cupboard so it's a pain to get them out.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 08/06/2017 12:16

Thank you all for the kind wishes! I am fasting today to reduce damage and because I swore I would stop buying lunch and take packed lunches, and I was too lazy to make anything this morning .

Hairspray, is daily weighing an issue? I thought you were supposed to keep a regular eye on weight to stop it creeping it horribly quickly!

HairsprayBabe · 08/06/2017 13:03

I am never sure, I don't want to get obsessed but I would rather just know every day then I don't have to worry about it.
I know weight loss is 80% diet 20% exercise but I have heard that maintaining is the other way round.
