Do you wanna list what you're doing and we can all have a look?

Not sure if that's for me.

I didbt have a huge amount to lose. About a stone and a half.

I really kept to the calorie limit on mfp and did loads of high intensity exercise. I dont restrict any food group (although I should be on low gi).

Now i no longer use a bus so cycle to the gym most days.

My enthusiasm for the gym has waned a bit and I am finding I am now eating sweets and biscuits regularly again.

I find i will go down in a woosh by about a kilo, usually after a period, and then it goes up a bit and up a bit and down a little bit until another woosh.

It is never just down down down.

QuimReaper · 22/05/2017 13:07

Hairspray I really don't see why not, it's just water essentially, isn't it? I didn't put any butter in my BPC, and it was delightful.

BOOP you can easily get under 11 by then, you're super close aren't you? That menemen looks fantastic! Would definitely have to ditch the veg but it looks like a terrific diet meal anyway. I think DH would love it with bread, and I'm always after meals which can easily be carbed or de-carbed...

QuimReaper · 22/05/2017 13:09

BOOP I'm not super-focused. I've been going up and down by the same 200g since America, which is still 2kg heavier than I was when I left Sad I'm not holding out too much hope for a miraculous loss on the egg fast but it would be pretty awesome if I got one. Even one sodding Linda would make a nice change! It could very easily work out at more calories than I would normally have during the week, so if it works it's literally bloody witchcraft.

QuimReaper · 22/05/2017 13:12

I wonder if it's the swimming that's missing. I haven't been since the building works finished, and I guess my average step count's gone down.

BitOutOfPractice · 22/05/2017 13:36

I was just a pound away from being in the 10s but Palma has put paid to that again. I'm really going to go for it now though

This sun makes eating soup feel just wrong !! Need to get some salad stuff in Grin
(I also can't see properly to catch up on the thread)

Balonder · 22/05/2017 13:56

We done on all the losses. I have stayed the same this week but not too worried as I have had several people ask me if I've lost weight and I am fitting into clothes that I couldn't for into a month ago.

Stellar67 · 22/05/2017 15:15

Feeling virtuous with the eggs so far. And I love the butter element Blush

Egg muffins at work, I guess eggs tonight. I'be not felt hungry all day.

And I have drank loads of water. I never drink water at work because I worry I will need to go and I can't trust my class alone Grin

Stellar67 · 22/05/2017 15:18

Also, my girls must know!

I am pretty sure that one on the right is a double yolk.

Lovely feeling isn't it Balonder !

Stellar I feel the same, had egg muffin at lunch time and don't feel hungry at at all! supposed to be having the egg pasta dish from "i breathe i'm hungry" tonight but I am concerned it will stick and I don't have a silicone mat so I might be lazy and just do cheesy scrambled egg.

Planning a run this evening when I get in if I am still feeling good. bit annoyed I had managed to overcome my hatred of excercise then I got that water infection and never got back into it again. Infact i can pin point that as the moment the weight loss started tailing off for me. I can't seem to get in to "the zone" at the weekend, I am golden all week and then just eat all Saturday and Sunday rather than just having a one or two nice things I just think fuck it and eat everything in sight!

HairsprayBabe · 22/05/2017 15:25

Awh!! I wish I had chickens!

QuimReaper · 22/05/2017 16:19

Stellar I didn't realise you had hens, the egg fast was made for you! Grin

I haven't tried the egg muffins yet, you guys' turned out well then?

I think that fettuccine thing looks really rich, I think scrambles will be more up my street even if they're a bit boring.

ELR · 22/05/2017 16:40

Hi all can I join please? Not going to loose 7lbs for May unless I get But at least I'll be on bored for the June thread.
I did 5:2 about 4 years ago and lost 15lbs in around 4 months. Anyway I've gained it all back plus an extra 3lbs. I started the 5:2 again 4 weeks ago but have lost nothing!! Not sure what is going on but I'm pretty annoyed so thought maybe joining this thread would help spur me on.
The egg fast looks interesting! How do you make the egg muffins?
I weighed 11st 2.5 this morning.

BitOutOfPractice · 22/05/2017 17:01

Hello ELR! Welcome aboard

OP posts:
QuimReaper · 22/05/2017 17:03

Welcome ELR! I'm a 5:2er too, but I personally find it isn't enough to lose weight - probably due to my excesses on the other 5 days! I do 2 fast days, 2 "sensible" days and 3 "fuck it" days and that's enough for either a sloooooow loss or maintenance; others who aren't as dedicated to "fuck it days", or aren't as lazy as I am would probably see better results on the same schedule Grin I agree, joining in in the last week of May will gee you up for June's efforts.

And I meant to say, welcome back Somo, 3lb in one week is fantastic! Well done!

Stellar67 · 22/05/2017 17:35

Welcome ELR.

Sorry I posted and ran there. Back now.

Not sure if the egg diet was made for me quim. But I have the means...

I was pleased with my egg muffins, I did miss a bit of greenery aka veg/salad with them. I too will be skipping the egg pasta.

Glad you had a wonderful holiday BOOP.

Welcome back somo.

QuimReaper · 22/05/2017 19:04

WOAH BOOP that's amazing! It was over 50 when you started wasn't it? I still don't know quite what metabolic age is but I'd love to know mine!

Stellar no I've never even heard of them!

BeyondStrongAndStable · 22/05/2017 19:47

I had an omelette for dinner, in solidarity with you all Grin

I was sixtyfucking one when I started. I've almost halved it. And my body type is firmly in the standard circle now.

We've not eaten yet but we are having paneer and pea curry along with sweet potato saag aloo from the new hairy Dieter veggie books.
