Do it Niki. I walked my first fun run as I had done my knee in. All walks of life at fun runs.

Where's quim? Thinking of her. Flowers

Stellar67 · 22/04/2017 17:29

Love the technical term last. And well done!

I want to take up running again. But DH is never here so unsure when I'd get time.

Going to have some wine and pasta. It is not a golden day. Smile

FreeNiki · 22/04/2017 21:36

The race I want to do is a charity race. Not keenon raising funds and I think you have to.

lastqueenofscotland · 22/04/2017 22:37

Niki take up parkrunning!!!!!

I've been somewhat indulged in cake and wine today Blush

MountainDweller · 23/04/2017 00:31

Apologies for not posting. My Dad is very ill, doesn't have long. Was very sudden. The upset and anxiety and sometimes sheer practical issues of a gluten-free bedside vigil have meant that I've hardly eaten anything today. Anxiety makes me nauseous, which means I don't want to eat, then I feel more nauseous because I haven't eaten.

Anyway to reply to the poster who asked me about logging exercise calories - (I've increased my level to lightly active) - no I'm not logging any exercise. I might if I do something very vigorous but it hasn't happened yet.

I have found that I seem to gain mid week so am ignoring the scales on those days and it seems to drop off again by Friday, yay! I am definitely losing slightly faster since increasing the activity level calories and not logging mild exercise. It feels more achievable and evens out because the days I exercised I was eating back a lot of calories.

Flowers Mountain - so so sorry to hear that. Keep drinking water and tea at least and look after yourself. Do you have any RL support?

HairsprayBabe · 23/04/2017 07:54

Mountain Flowers so sorry to hear about your dad. Hope your family is holding up ok.

11.1 again today, which is annoying because I was good yesterday, on a Saturday and everything!!!

BitOutOfPractice · 23/04/2017 08:51

Mountain I am so sorry Flowers

I had my weekend "day off" days on Friday and yesterday so I am planning a lighter day today. Eggs for breakfast, soup for lunch, and a chickpea curry for dinner.

FreeNiki · 23/04/2017 10:55

Sorry MountainFlowers missed that about your dad, I wasnt coherent at 2am.

Hope you are ok.

Stellar67 · 23/04/2017 12:52

So sorry mountain. FlowersTry to keep hydrated if nothing else.

Not much to report here, I'm feeling low tolerance for the dcs. Will take them out and make them run around somewhere.

Mountain I'm sorry to hear about your dad. Flowers

ponygirlcurtis · 23/04/2017 22:51

How is your head BOOP? Brilliant news on your lowest weight, hope it took the edge of the hangover - am guessing you got the most out of the bottomless prosecco? Star

Decentish day here, I am bouncing back to around a smidge under 11st. Will see what the week brings. Every time I want to splurge I just think of the wedding I am going to in 2 weeks and the dress I want to look fabulous in!

readyforsunshine · 24/04/2017 07:10

Flowers mountain
Star boop, hope you're still down this morning & didn't succomb to hangover food. You no doubt detoxified sipping a green smoothie Grin
Yesterday was far from good here. I was up early to finish & deliver my lunch party which included a delicious retro Black Forest roulade, took dd show jumping & avoided the bacon rolls, (v proud mummy as she came 4th in a class of over 30)
Then it went tits up as last day of hols, long day, Chinese takeaway followed by sharing a whole box of heroes as dd needed the wrappers for a hwk project.
A new top weight for me today, 10.12Shock
Never mind koko I just keep on starting again!
Apologies for long post but I need to get my act together so hoping a bit of accountability will help.
I know lo carbing has worked in past & stopping I lost approx 11/2 st doing this pre current reweight gain.
I suffer with some as yet undiagnosed illness that causes lethargy, this derails me. Mystery illness also means that if I do too much exercise I will suffer joint & muscle pain so im understandably cautious. Start of mystery illness 2 years ago has caused my weight gain.
My job, cooking, means I often have ingredients & leftovers that need using up.
I seem to struggle if I'm not following a plan, I think I need to be really strict to get down as good old 'healthy eating with occasional treats' means I just yoyo/maintain.
Im really determined as I think it will help my illness if I get back to old weight, & I want my thin clothes back! Wish me luck, I really need to do this.

Squiffy01 · 24/04/2017 07:16

mountain sorry to hear about your dad. Hope you are doing ok. Is there anyone in RL that could bring you some GF food?

cheddar good luck on the potty training! One I look after is has been done for 6 months but we still haven't cracked the night time nappy so you are doing amazing to already be dry at night!

I had a rubbish weekend with good. But lots of fun at an escape room.
I've joined up WW but having had two bad days and then out to dinner tonight I'm already thinking I don't want to go and weigh in on Saturday.
Thinking of starting park run although now I've typed it I think the one near me is in the morning around the same time as WW meeting.

Up the gherkin tonight for dinner, hoping there will be something I like on the menu.

Have a good day everyone.

Stellar67 · 24/04/2017 07:52

Well done boop!

Sunshine I'm on the road to recovery after mystery illness, which turned out to be I was om the wrong thyroid meds. My hair is still very thin and I gained lots of weight. That sounds like a lovely weekend though!

Squiffy you can do this. What's WW like?

I'm working so made a packed lunch, will avoid canteen treats.
I've also been attempting to batch cook in between everything else. Making little freezer meals.
I am not getting to the gym as too many appointments and events. That's not pleasing me as I do like going.

Have golden week everyone!

HairsprayBabe · 24/04/2017 09:06

11.1 again
I will be pleased if I end up on any loss at all this month as I am currently +2 from the first.

TVHubbyClaire · 24/04/2017 09:16

I had a pretty good weekend on the food/drink side of things and actually did my first 5k in about 10 months (28min 14 s) on Friday. My legs were ok on saturday but bloomin' stiff yesterday and still not fully recovered today which I guess shows just how out of shape I amSad

I felt quite "light" yesterday morning and jumped on scales. I was actually 12st 8 1/2 yesterday which is my LOWEST since I started with you allSmile

At Nandos last night but stuck to pitta and corn (thanks to hairspray) and although up today at 12st 91/2 I am still below the 10 and definitely my lowest for a Monday since I began chasing away Linda

Hopefully will run 3 times this week......

BitOutOfPractice · 24/04/2017 09:35

Morning! The sun is shining!

Had a great weekend. I did indeed make a sterling effort with the bottomless prosecco. You lot would be proud of me.

I did succumb to the hangover food and hair of the dog though yesterday. We went up to London to watch the marathon and started the day with a large breakfast and ended it with Chinese food. Oops. Back on it today like a robber's dog. Going away Friday and need to pre-empt the damage I'll do then.

TV very well done in your new low and run. Double triumph! Star

Im not weighing myself until AF has gone and Ive done some more exercise. Ive let it slip a bit.

I am getting horribly down. I now have only 53 weeks and 6 days until the most depressing birthday on earth

TVHubbyClaire · 24/04/2017 12:20

nikki which birthday is that? Remember its only a number!

You should definitely try a 5k, I definitely felt betetr after I did my run on Friday Smile

FreeNiki · 24/04/2017 13:05

four zero.

I feel as is life is pointless after it. you're meant to have some stability and im still just a joke.
