poor paws.....you will make it up this week-the trick is to stick it out...we all know that...i think that's where we all fall.... i wrote down amount of times i was thinking about weight this week...has anyone tried that???like a reverse gratitude journal....... do we realise just how much of our "LIFE" we are spending on this... is it not time to limit the time we spend worrying/concentrating on this.... i think so...let us keep going....... and help ourselves....... everyone who is left PLEASE keep posting.... whatever happens, even if only a few people are left...please keep logging on...... even if we have only one person to tell how we are doing....it is better for us all....... think of the reason why you joined this thread-for support-look at all the like minded people..... i sound like a self help book gone wrong...but i suspect there is not one post i have read on this...that i could not relate to........gang together people!! happy Monday... if it is really difficult just say, i have to get through the next meal...and just do that over and over.... well done everyone so far.... :-)

Good morning everyone. 2.5lbs down so the Easter blip is behind me. Makes it 2.5lbs altogether but if I could do that every 4 weeks I could be happy. Good luck to everyone still here

Hi everyone

I stayed the same which I am actually delighted with because I expected to gain anything from 4 to 7 pounds. I still have a chest infection and a very nasty cough which is keeping me awake at night but I don't feel as bad as I did a couple of days ago. I'm going to try really hard this week. I want a last push for the end of April and would like to record a nice big fat weight loss next weekend. Feeling pretty positive now that I feel a bit better.

Good luck to everyone, we know we can do this!

Poorpaws. Well done for not gaining. It's difficult to choose healthy food when you are not well. I binged on junk when I was poorly a couple of weeks back and gained weight.

Stayed the same and a bit disappointed to be honest. Have had no blowout days where it all went wrong and have managed to go for a 30min jog twice. Obviously not quite strict enough.
Oh well...New week and all that :/

How is everyone doing????? keep going exhausted tummy....you are changing your diet and exercising...that is all good....even if changes are small they don't have to be "everest" sized....we have to take it day by day.... now ladies, time to hang on to the boat...!!:-)))))))

I was 11.11.8 today, which means I have lost a grand total of 2 lb in 5 weeks. Rather too slow and steady for my liking but I'm now feeling motivated and May is going to be much much better!

What plans are you all using? Sensible, healthy eating, which has always worked for me in the past, is not working now so I'm wondering whether to try sometging more radical. I don't think I can go low carb because I'm veggie but would lowER carb or no carbs in the evening be worth a try?

HI Steala, apologies-the delay!! i'm doing protein, no carbs......i think it would be difficult you having no carbs as a veggie?Have you ever tried no carb before?? you could have carb at your main meal... and reduce in your other meals? it simply works....but it is difficult...especially like most of us we are doing health regimes over and over....protein does keep you feeling sated though... i eat every 3 hours....

I'm here, had really bad last few days so not feeling great with myself.

Well...mixed really. Due to lack of dry washing, I attempted my pre twins jeans aaaannnd... bit too much of a muffin top but could actually do them up which is new! Still haven't lost any weight at all technically, would quite like my hard work to show a little on the scales...half a stone to get me into a new 'stones number' would be nice! But obviously losing a bit of my flabby tum. Keep going everyone!!

Morning all,

I am 1lb down. Not sure how as I have had the worst week eating wise.

I am lacking motivation and am fed up with it all.

I know where it's all gone wrong, dc came home having been in Thailand for the last year so obviously I went crazy in the supermarket buying all the things that he loves and I've been eating it all! I thought that I would be able to resist but no. I've been an eating machine Smile

I'm feeling a bit despondent. I had a great week foodwise, did 3 speak n classes and a 5km run and a swim and totalled over 100,000 steps and... lost 0.8lb. Sigh. Onwards and downwards.
