I had another day of visitors so started out well but then ate too many chocolate biscuits - again Blush. I'm off to a party at my friend's house today so will try to be sensible. Sadly, I think this thread is dying a death but I'll report back anyway.

pinkieandperkie · 14/04/2017 08:10

Oh God

Why eat one packet of Cadbury fabulous fingers when you can eat two packets.

My name is Sadie and I am a chocoholic!

I am ashamed.

DejaVuDieter · 14/04/2017 09:00

pinkie I think that's easily done, they're only little packets Wink

Dollface7 · 14/04/2017 22:04

poorpaws. ..pinkie.....dejavu..... everyone....steala.... we are all going to have bad days... we are not perfect... we are trying...and lets face it, we cannot say we have been unsuccessful....as we have been logging on since 26th march... so we ARE addressing something that is bugging us....and we have made big changes..... It does not matter if we "slip"....it is real life continuing...I read there where 1lb gain was lost again and thinking its back to square one...I really think it isn't.... its a BIG climb and we are doing it step by step...one step back does not mean we cannot step forward again.... remember the sunburn!!! I always think the hardest part is starting again..... it is the continuing on doing what we always did that's the easiest part...believe me, i stood staring at the lemon butter cake for ages yesterday... and walked by it about 4 times in the shop trying to stop my arms hugging it, never mind eating it!!! :-) cheer up everyone, it's easter-do the best you can for the weekend.... look at all the achievements not the 'slips'...we can do it...everyone is doing it every day.... GO GO GO!!!!

I have piled in so much weight in the last month, i haven't been eating any different... or so i thought, my stomach is disgusting... Sad

poorpaws · 14/04/2017 22:38

Welcome Fucktifyno. A few of us are posting fairly regularly but quite a few have dropped out. I have a big chocolate problem.

I've tried very hard today to make up for earlier in the week. I think the Easter weekend will bring its own problems.

Pinkie I could eat more than 2 packets very easily. 😊

Fucktifyno · 15/04/2017 09:55

Thankyou @poorpaws I have a food problem! I am getting my bike out today and getting started!

pinkieandperkie · 15/04/2017 09:57

Welcome Fucktifyno Smile

FFSenoughofthis · 15/04/2017 10:16

Can I join in too? I started back on it on Monday having hit 10st4 and realising how far I am off the size 8 I was a couple of years ago :( lost 4lb since then and looking forward to the kids going back to school cos I've promised myself we'll start walking every day!

DejaVuDieter · 15/04/2017 11:06

I've been up and done Parkrun this morning and got my best time of this year so feeling pleased. Now to resist chocolate for the rest of the day. Welcome to Fucktifyno and FFSenoughofthis.

Balonder · 15/04/2017 15:49

Well done DVD, I always have great parkrun intentions but have only ever made it to one . . . I had intended to run this morning but instead we packed up the kids and the dog and trekked up a mountain (large hill really) to a neolithic cairn on top. I am doing really well with exercise but have to keep readdressing my eating.

Dollface7 · 15/04/2017 19:35

Welcome newbies!!!! yay!!! come back the people who have not logged on.... i know you don't want to drop out....seriously you don't.... so its chocolate heaven weekend.....going to need all the strength in the world to get through this...ive had protein and more protein..oh and you guessed it some protein.... i also have a giant easter egg tree done and i wanted to eat the eggs...but they're not chocolate so i have stopped myself... as you can read deliriousness and some humour have crept into the day....to keep me on track.... well done balonder you are a serious exercise inspiration ......keep typing people...if there is no one on the thread...we will just end up starting another one...with months of a gap and some more pounds....and not in the bank!!! $$$$$$$

I'm always so jealous of people who do park runs, I'm determined to get back running!

I've had a bag of crisps tonight, DP is amazed as he bought them last weekend and they don't usually last 2 mins! Also not touched a drop of alcohol this weekend, which is amazing, especially for a bank holiday weekend!

buggerthebotox · 15/04/2017 21:25

Newbie here. Been 1200-ing for ages, lost 1 1/2 stone and struggling to keep it off. Better today though-walked briskly for 2.5 hours.

Started to do weights too. Trainer said I wasn't in bad shape, which I took as a compliment. I'd like to get back into a proper non-vanity 10, but at 57, unlikely. Sad.

exhaustedtwinmummy · 15/04/2017 21:41

Second bbq and easter party of the weekend over. Have definitely eaten too much chocolate...Damn you mini-eggs!!! Don't think I'm able to say no to those. Didn't overdo the bbq though so a mixed bag. Quiet day at home tomorrow and no mini-eggs left so definitely more focused.

poorpaws · 15/04/2017 22:40

My second binge of the week and this was a serious one ☹️ Will I ever learn. I've realised that unless I walk or work all day I sit and binge. I just don't know the answer to this.

Well done to everyone else. Dreading weigh-in!

buggerthebotox · 16/04/2017 10:34

Is anyone doing roast today? That's always my downfall. I love a roast but try to avoid for obvious reasons....Sad

Fucktifyno · 16/04/2017 11:22

Morning all,
Had a good day yesterday, managed not to stuff myself. I am going to get a gp appointment next week though as I am concerned there might be something underlying.
Today I have last minute been goven tickets to an event in the city and I will be eating out, I am going to have to be careful!
@poorpaws don't be too hard on yourself, i hate this time when there is so much chocolate in the house, worse because I have 3 children and all of them can take or leave chocolate so it lingers!
It helps that cadburys chocolate is like solidified lard now so I am not too bothered either! 😫
What day is weigh in?

Fucktifyno · 16/04/2017 11:27

@buggerthebotox I am not doing a roast today but I try and make it as healthy as poss, we only have chicken as the none of us like any other meat, so no skin, roast potatoes done like wedges with frylight spray and boiled vegetables, it is probably one of our healthier meals! Blush

buggerthebotox · 16/04/2017 13:43

I've done a roast, kind of. I've used chicken pieces, hardly any fat, no roasties.

I've done bread sauce though and gravy. But no bacon, sausages or cauli cheese.

Putting this one down to experience! It's Line of Duty day too, so I'll need to budget for my weekly Vodka Slush laterGrin.

Ah well......

FFSenoughofthis · 16/04/2017 15:00

I'm doing a roast while having a massive sulk about not having any chocolate! In everyone's defence, I'm vegan and it's not always straightforward which eggs I can have, but even our teeny Sainsbury's local has vegan eggs! Bloody parents bought everyone including DP one and apparently forgot that I couldn't eat them!

So I'm settling with roast potatoes, stuffing, sautéed courgettes, a shit tonne of gravy and some sausages! Oh and a few baccardi and cokes, having not drunk all week!

Happy easter everyone!

Balonder · 16/04/2017 22:58

Easter is over and I am back from my week away so it is back on a much stricter wagon. Hope everyone had had a great weekend. Onwards and downwards!
