Millie a tan is very forgiving. I found it surprisingly easy to let it all hang out when I was on the beach. Just enjoy yourself! I have managed to get back on track since I've been back, I'm just trying to take the long view. My goal is 11 stone and I'm back to 11.5 (and three quarters). Which is only a three pound loss since April, but there have been 2 holidays during that time so I feel quite pleased overall.

MillieMoodle · 28/08/2017 10:54

Smell I'm not sure how much of a tan I'll get - I can't be bothered to get up at 6am to bag a sunbed like some of these crazy fuckers so we've set up camp at the pool bar most days, which is mostly in the shade.

I gave the cooked breakfast a miss this morning though Halo

Notsoskinnyminny · 31/08/2017 15:10

Just a quicky to bump us up the page before we disappear.

millie hope you're having a great holiday, the pool bar sounds like a better option to me - not as far to carry my beer Grin

Still off the wagon but full of good intentions for next Tuesday - why can't nice things be low calorie???

MillieMoodle · 01/09/2017 12:07

Notso holiday was lovely thanks, landed early this morning so back to normality now. Boo.

At least it's sunny here so I can get the washing dry. Haven't dared to weigh myself yet but will report back when I have.

My mat leave finishes and I'm back to work on Monday so I'm giving myself the weekend to relax and then will be strict with myself again. We are going away next May and I want to be at least 2 stone lighter, and a lot more toned as well!

MillieMoodle · 01/09/2017 12:48

Up to 11st 6lbs Shock

happypoobum · 01/09/2017 15:17

Me too Millie Sad

I have to get back on track. My tummy apron is coming back!!!!!!!

MillieMoodle · 01/09/2017 16:24

Same here happy. I feel flabby and bleurgh!

Have bought salad stuff, fruit and houmous for lunches/snacks next week as am determined not to fall into the chocolate/cake/crisps at my desk trap! Also planning to go for a walk each lunchtime to get some fresh air and a bit of exercise.

happypoobum · 01/09/2017 16:27

Great stuff Millie I will try to do the same.

After the weekend of course Wink

MillieMoodle · 01/09/2017 18:18

Happy of course Grin although I've not been that hungry today - have had toast for breakfast, a sandwich for lunch and that's it today. It is fish and chips for tea tonight though. Last holiday treat. Back to normal dinners/routines tomorrow after a summer of no routine, it's been lovely!

SmellTheGlove · 02/09/2017 08:37

Millie and happy you will get back on the wagon with no problems! If I can do it anyone can. Not that the pounds are exactly dropping off! But they are going fairly quickly again when I gain so yours will too. I'm looking forward to routines being back to normal too. Off to meet a friend for coffee now and intend to eat cake so there!

MillieMoodle · 03/09/2017 10:21

Smell I do hope so!

Am down to 11st 5lbs today, so 1lb gone already and it's TOTM again too (perfect timing for back to work tomorrow Hmm but at least I was ok on holiday!).

Having a last day of not really watching what I eat, then back on it tomorrow. I'm giving myself until the end of September to get to 11st.

Notsoskinnyminny · 03/09/2017 15:02

9st 12 this morning and 8lbs down from this time last year. Inset day tomorrow and we do a shared table so I'll eat my bodyweight in sausage rolls and pasta salad and will still be starving. My intention is to restart properly on Tuesday and will go and buy salady stuff after work tomorrow and resist the remains of the shared table that'll be in the fridge for days - I'd rather bring my own butties or just go to the chippy and get it over with Grin

millie good luck for your first day back tomorrow

MillieMoodle · 03/09/2017 18:04

Thanks Notso! Am a bit nervous which is crazy. Not really looking forward to it, but I'm sure it'll be fine when I'm back in the routine. Hope all goes well tomorrow for you too. Can't believe they go back to school already!

Have got crisps, orange matchmakers and toblerone for snack tonight while me and DH watch a film; trying to make the last night of my mat leave special (and avoid that Sunday night feeling).

Have discovered geocaching today so been out for a long walk to find some caches. I joined about 2 years ago and never got round to actually going out, but now ds1 is a bit older he's really excited to find caches with toys to swap! We're hoping it will get us out and about at the weekends a bit more.

MillieMoodle · 05/09/2017 19:16

Down to 11st 4lbs this morning so the holiday bloating is slowly going!

happypoobum · 05/09/2017 19:20

Weighed in today and have lost a pound so back to 11:7

I need to keep at it and be 11 stone by end of September at least.

MillieMoodle · 05/09/2017 21:33

Happy I'm aiming for 11st by end of September as well, bored of salad and desperate for chocolate already!

SmellTheGlove · 06/09/2017 14:07

happy and Millie I'm also aiming for 11 stone but not by the end of September! It's only 5 pounds I know but realistically I've been losing less than a pound a month. I shall aim for the beginning of December!

happypoobum · 06/09/2017 14:17

Ok well we can be the eleven stone Trio!!! Grin

MillieMoodle · 08/09/2017 17:43

I've made it to 11st 2lbs Grin Have managed to pretty much avoid snacking at work, have cut out bread and crisps, and have tried to avoid cakey/pastry type things. Hopeful that I can get to 11st by the end of September and then my next target is a rather ambitious 10st 7lbs by the end of October!

Notsoskinnyminny · 08/09/2017 19:34

Mumsnet eat my post and dinners ready so we'll done millie my willpower is still awol!!

Wenchelda · 10/09/2017 09:03

Hello strangers - how's everyone going? I've not been on here for what seems like ages so thought I'd better check in! Weighed this morning at 9st 12, so slight loss which I'm ok with as I haven't been logging on MFP or sticking to my calories. I really need to get back into it now we are back to school with normal routines etc. Aiming for 9st by Xmas which will give me 2 stone off since we started Smile

Notsoskinnyminny · 10/09/2017 15:35

wench I was 9st 11 this mornng so we can be the 9-stoners and keep each other on track. I need to get back into the habit of planning my meals and preparing veggies for me so I don't have a plate of oven chips with DH who behaves like a toddler when something green's put on his plate Grin

I made SW chips last night after listening to colleagues rave about them and they were delicious and more satisfying than the boring baked spud they would've been!

SmellTheGlove · 11/09/2017 07:38

Well it would seem our holidays have not been the utter disasters they could have been! Or at least if they were everybody is back on track. I haven't gained but I'm struggling to lose again. I think I'm going to have to cut my calories which makes me want to cry! Especially as the increasing crap weather makes it harder to get enough walking in. On 1450 at the mo. Aaargggg I'm already bloody hungry!

MillieMoodle · 11/09/2017 21:49

Bit of a dodgy weekend involving alcohol and takeaways. Today was awful with cake, biscuits, Coke (the fizzy kind, not the snorty kind) and takeaway. Haven't dared go back on the scales. Will have to leave it til I've had a couple of days of salad 😬

Notsoskinnyminny · 17/09/2017 09:08

Waves at everyone!

We'll I've been goodish and lost 1/2lb - it's so hard getting back on track but i am logging on MFP and trying to stick to 1200 but I'm wasting too many calories on biscuits can you suggest some healthy snacks. Why is it so easy to pile the lbs back on but they cling on for dear life when you want to lose them again???
