McDonalds for tea

happypoobum · 24/06/2017 09:57

Wench - don't go!!!!

Weighed in today - back to 10:13 so what I was before I went to Portugal for a week of wine and hotel food.

Now need to get back on it and lose another stone by end of September.

Off out to lunch somewhere fabulous with a friend today but will drive so no booze and will skip breakfast and dinner so I can really enjoy the lunch.

Happy weekend everyone.

Notsoskinnyminny · 24/06/2017 13:28

Don't stress wench I fell off the wagon last night after polishing off best part of a bottle of wine because DH said he'd run DD and her friends to the station then had a bag of mccoys and mars bar while he was out (10 mins max) and then had a bag of mini cheddars when he egged me on saying 'go on you've been good all week' so instead of saying I want to carry on being good I had them and 3 chocolate digestives Blush I woke up at 4am with the dryest mouth on the planet and didn't hear DD stagger in at 3am - she was too drunk to get in a taxi so her friend phoned her BF to pick them up and then stayed to look after her. I've been running up and downstairs with plates of buttery toast to sober them up while they natter and giggle like they're still 14 Grin

The scales said 9st 5 this morning but that was probably because I was dehydrated and yesterday's binge will catch up with me tomorow.

happy enjoy your lunch

MillieMoodle · 24/06/2017 17:01

Keep forgetting to log meals on mfp and my steps aren't syncing with UP/mfp either. Grrr.

Had 2 slices of white toast and butter for breakfast. Tomato soup and a wholemeal pitta bread for lunch. Two flying saucers this morning as DS1 got them in a party bag and doesn't like them. Also a foam ice cream sweet this afternoon. Don't know what dinner will be.

DH is not well. He won't eat, he's sighing a lot and keeps needing to lie down. He is also unable to speak in words of more than one syllable. As I have to power on through when I'm ill, I don't even get so much as a cup of tea from him, let alone a whole day in bed, I am struggling to be sympathetic to be honest.

Wenchelda · 25/06/2017 07:01

Notso 9st 5 is brilliant. Well done. You are definitely winning have won our little competition.

Weigh in this morning and I am 9st 7 and 3/4 - exactly the same as last week which frankly I am amazed and overjoyed with. I was certain I was going to see 9st 9 on the scales today after the terrible food week I've had. So although I haven't lost (and wasn't expecting to), not gaining anything has made me feel a bit more positive about it all. So I will try to get back in to logging everything on MFP and eating less better. However with only 3 days until my deadline I am clearly not going to make it to 9st!

MillieMoodle · 26/06/2017 12:20

Afternoon all

My UP band has finally started syncing my steps to mfp again! Yay! Am at 11st 3lbs still but feeling positive and motivated to keep going.

Breakfast was two slices of wholemeal toast. Lunch was oatcakes with smoked salmon pate. Dinner will be burgers and salad. Trying to stay away from the chocolate.

Notsoskinnyminny · 26/06/2017 18:26

millie I've just noticed it when I was logging my food for the day. Going to scroll back and see if previous entries have been updated as I walked miles on Saturday

MillieMoodle · 28/06/2017 07:21

Notso did it update? I stopped wearing my band as it was annoying me that the steps weren't syncing!

Down to 11st 2lbs this morning, which I am pleased with as have been trying to avoid the snacks and junk. Only 3lbs to go to be back to pre-DS2 weight.

MillieMoodle · 29/06/2017 06:46

11st 1lb this morning, feeling very motivated to keep avoiding the junk and snacks for a bit longer! If I can get to 10st 13lbs, my pre-DS2 weight, in the next couple of weeks I'll be delighted! Next target after that is 10st 7lbs which I'm hoping for by the time we go away at the start of August.

SmellTheGlove · 29/06/2017 07:12

Well done millie! And wench! There's always going to be some weeks were just staying the same is progress! I'm up a pound on official weigh in today but am ignoring that! I was down a pound in the week and I ate about a tonne of sweets at work yesterday so am hoping it is a temporary sugar blip!

Wenchelda · 29/06/2017 17:16

Just checking in after a few days absence. I am now past my deadline and into holiday mode as my relatives are here from overseas - haven't seen each other for 3yrs and will probably be as long before we see them again after this trip so I want to relax a bit and enjoy it while they are here. So I've changed my MFP allowance to "maintain weight" and will be happy to stay as I am for the next few weeks. Will try very hard to still be good and not over indulge but I'd rather give myself more calories and hopefully stay within allowance instead of trying to stick to reduced calories and most likely fail miserably!

Notsoskinnyminny · 29/06/2017 17:50

millie it does but I hate how it still doesn't link with the app and I have to use the webpage to log food and see how many extra calories I've earned as it never matches what UP says.

wench enjoy your visitors. I think you're doing the right thing - you can't have people travel from miles away and spend the time saying sorry can't eat x because I'm counting calories. Whenever we have people over they always want fish and chips, sausage rolls (DD tried to describe them when she was in Japan so they're usually the first thing they want to try) and sticky toffee pudding with loads of custard.

Not weighed since the weekend but I'm cold today so have had the munchies and damn you walkers for making small bags of your sweet chilli sensations Grin

MillieMoodle · 30/06/2017 07:22

Wench enjoy your weekend and don't think about the food!

Am down to 11st this morning so have finally lost a whole stone since we started! Yay! MFP tells me this is what I weighed in April last year (at four months pregnant!) so I'm getting there. I thought I was 10st 13lbs just before I got pregnant with DS2 but MFP says I was 10st 10lbs. So my next goal is to get back into the 10sts and then aim for 10st 10lbs.

SmellTheGlove · 01/07/2017 08:36

millie well done! I'm still a few pounds off our 'lose a stone by Christmas'!!! If I can lose a stone by August I'll be very happy. A stone in 9 months is still good enough for me...
I've been feeling stupidly tired recently and a bit dizzy so although I've been eating 1450 calories I was wondering if I wasn't getting enough nutrition. So last few days I've been eating more proper meals and eating about 1500 calories and I've already put on a bloody pound!

happypoobum · 01/07/2017 09:34

Smell POAS?

I have put on two pounds Sad

It was DS birthday and too much celebrating has taken place. So annoyed with myself.

Wench have a brilliant time - I have family visiting from Forrin the whole of August and am terrified to think about how much I will put on so I have to do some serious weight losing in July.

Also - just to finish me off, have just realised that "The ex who broke my heart" will probably be at a work conference I am attending on Monday. Will spend the whole of today trying on clothes and hoping he doesn't notice that I am nearly two stone heavier than when he last saw me in 2012 Angry

Notsoskinnyminny · 01/07/2017 10:23

Well done millie.

9st 5 today so still a few lbs off my stone as well smell

happy just keep reminding yourself what a wanker he was and he didn't deserve you Flowers

wench hope you're having fun with your visitors

no more coursework = no excuse not to clean the house properly for the first time in ages - how many extra calories mopping floors will earn me?!

SmellTheGlove · 01/07/2017 18:46

happy oh my god I don't even want to consider that possibility! I think it's probably quite the opposite actually and maybe my hormones winding down... is 45 menopause time? God knows what that will do to my weight??!! Try not to think about the ex - I doubt he'll even notice the weight just be kicking himself that he missed out on your fabulousness!
Done well with calories so far today and also eaten fairly healthily so hopefully will be back on track soon.

happypoobum · 01/07/2017 19:13

Thanks Skinny and Smell It was a long time ago now - nearly five years since we split but he still calls and texts me every few months (I never respond) so he hasn't ever really gone away......

Could be hormones Smell - I hate to tell you this but my metabolism has ground to a complete bloody halt since menopause ( I am 51)

I have decided to wear this dress - it will make me feel confident at least. Have been good today and not eaten much.

Fear is an amazing motivator!

happypoobum · 01/07/2017 19:14

In black - not red....

MillieMoodle · 03/07/2017 09:35

Will catch up with thread later but just place marking again as the thread disappeared from my "threads I'm on" and cos I'm watching too many threads it's disappeared off that too (am on the app).

Rubbish weekend, ate far too much junk and didn't move much. Result is back up to 11st 3lbs. FFS!

SmellTheGlove · 03/07/2017 12:27

happy that dress is lovely -hope it went ok today! I'm still plateauing which is frustrating but at least I'm not gaining I suppose. I'm slightly obsessed with my bingo wings - the rest of me is looking much slimmer and my arms are looking better from the side but if I lift them up -boy oh boy that's not a good look. Maybe I should start saving for a bingo-ectomy? (I'm sure that's a thing..)

MillieMoodle · 04/07/2017 20:00

Am at 11st 2lbs, so up a bit, but seem to be yoyo-ing between that and 11st. Managed to wear my size 12 black jeans all day today (for the first time since before DS2!) without being in pain and one of my friends said it looked like I've lost weight so am feeling motivated again.

Hope everybody is doing well Grin

Notsoskinnyminny · 05/07/2017 07:42

millie a friend's compliment is better than any number on the scales and woohoo to size 12 jeans Grin

DH has only gone and booked a holiday so 3 wks to get bikini fit. Old bottoms fit but tops are obscene - DH just said phwoar but I'm the wrong side of 50 to have the girls out as much as they were Grin Only downside is the flight goes at 6am the morning after we break up - I'll be knackered! It's obviously a ploy to stop me going on the end of term bender that leaves me wrecked for days.

MillieMoodle · 05/07/2017 10:54

Ooh Notso a holiday, yay! I need to try my bikinis on as I'm fairly sure they won't fit any more and I'm running out of time to buy new ones.

Think I will have to start the 30 day shred again as I haven't done it for a while and it's getting close to our holiday too. I don't think I'm going to be the svelte size 10 I was aiming for, but a definite size 12 would do (as opposed to a 12/14). Must...keep...focused!

SmellTheGlove · 06/07/2017 07:31

Official weigh in today and still plateuing! 11.7 and three quarters. Holiday in 4 weeks! Gah! Bikinis!
