I often stick in my posts what I eat, I know most people aren't interested but I feel like if I put it on here then I can't deviate too much!

I am thinking about adding a tomato salsa to my dinner tonight, to use some stuff in the fridge up
Passata, onion chilli and peppers, green beans, lentils and a small tuna steak.

I am also thinking about being more fastidious with my calorie counting as I do a lot of estimations and I really want to have a good week this week to start next week on 11.3ish rather than losing the 3lbs only to have them come right back on again over the weekend.

FreeNiki · 13/03/2017 14:48

I really cannot be arsed with it all today.

I feel like I am improving my body for no reason at all. No one sees it. I am single and no one cares if Im fat or thin.

I am due a tax refund back of nearly £2300 though.

thinking of a wee trip for my birthday. All you ladies have been a few places. anywhere you recommend?

BitOutOfPractice · 13/03/2017 16:21

KOKO you are capable of it. you are! FYI I have a target of 1200 a day for calories on MFP. I stick to that 6 days out of 7 generally.

Nicki that's a nice windfall. What sort of trip are you thinking of? City? Beach? Active?

And we care! The thing is though, you need to care for your own sake (which I think you do really!) and I know that's a cliche (add your own accent) but it's because it's true!

Sorry you are feeling rubbish today Niki. Can you get out for a walk and some fresh air, or do something like get your nails done? What about a yoga retreat or something hobby based for a holiday?

FreeNiki · 13/03/2017 17:07

I'll be alone so I guess avoiding places where I'll be lonely.

i do care but ive been single all my life. no one sees it or really cares

BitOutOfPractice · 13/03/2017 17:14

Are you getting out and about lots Niki? Have you tried OLD? That's where I met my lovely BF and had lots of fun along the way

Do you like a particular kind of art or architecture? I went to Venice recently and did a couple of organised walking tours. Learned a lot and met some nice people to chat to.

I've also travelled alone to the States, Holland (lots of times!), France etc

Well, all my fun plans have fallen through for this week because my Dad is in hospital, so I guess it'll be golden after all.

I would much rather it not be though Sad

QuimReaper · 13/03/2017 17:21

I love reading what people are eating, definitely share away! I find it very inspiring!

BitOutOfPractice · 13/03/2017 17:22

Oh no quim Sad I'm sorry to hear that. Sending him get well wishes Thanks

Niki you should do the "7 Linda's grand tour" - a day with each of us where we take you somewhere exciting and introduce you to someone eligible...
(If I had £2300 to myself, I'd go on a painting holiday in Tuscany, or a yoga retreat in southern France)

(Today: Banana, flat white, sushi, mini cupcake (x2 Confused) and Goan chicken curry with cauliflower rice for tea)

Ooh the 7 Lindas grand tour sounds a fun idea.

BOOP that's great you met someone nice on OLD. Ive been doing OLD on and off since 2011. So far 18 month relationship in which I thought he was the one. He lied and cheated blaming me for the break up and I eventually found out the truth. The next one strung me along for over a year and then met someone else admitting I was just a lay until he met someone he liked. Next one took me on a few dates and then admitted we weren't together and he was looking for someone. I just fucking give up.

Ive been on a couple of yoga retreats outside of Europe. Artwise I like sculpture: the Rodin Museum was a feature of a trip to Paris once.

I also like archaeology. Also natural monuments, lakes mountains etc.

No idea!

Niki sorry you are feeling so rubbish! A big holiday sounds amazing.
Would you consider doing a bus tour around Europe or another place you haven't been? I did one when I was 21 and loved it!!!

A not so golden day for me but not awful. I was just sooo hungry after eating so much over the weekend.

Softpebbles · 13/03/2017 20:10

Apple and grapefruit, tuna 'low cal' sandwich from Sainsbury's, some light crisp things, grapes and two strawberries.

Had three Oreo thins, chicken and mushroom risotto for tea. Just also had a packet off 99 cal animal biscuits.

Went running this morning and have smashed 10,000 steps today.

Quim sorry to hear about your dad. 😔

Niki sorry you are feeling down. To be honest I'm losing weight for me not anyone else. I get down about my weight as I had years battling an eating disorder and it's the first time in my life I've lost control. I suppose I should be happy really! X

HairsprayBabe · 13/03/2017 21:06

Quim Flowers

Nikki My OH actually prefers a larger framed woman so to speak so I deff am not doing this for him - we met on FB so OLD is a good place to meet people!

I wish there was OLD but for friends, all my mates live in different cities and I am often craving female company, I think that is why I like it on here so much...

Also also also I went for my first run in a year today, and it wasn't 100% awful! Then I got home and did a 10 min boot camp squats pushups and situps... I will be paying for it tomorrow!

Archduke · 13/03/2017 21:29

I had a hair cut.

I've just realized who it reminds me of.

Jim Carey - Dumb and Dumber SadSadSad

lastqueenofscotland · 13/03/2017 21:32

Had a big dinner but been pretty golden really

FreeNiki · 13/03/2017 22:19

Would you consider doing a bus tour around Europe or another place you haven't been? I did one when I was 21 and loved it!!!

lastqueenofscotland · 14/03/2017 07:20

Oh yeah, I lost half a pound according to BF's scales this morning

OP posts:
HairsprayBabe · 14/03/2017 08:04

I have only just started "traveling" recently, was always too poor before Sad My mum and dad didn't start going abroad until they were in their 40's again could just never afford it!

11.5 this morning, -2lbs for the month onwards and downwards Grin

TVHubbyClaire · 14/03/2017 08:21

Bugger - scales this morning started with a 13 again, thankfully just 13 but still going backwards. I dont have too many big social things planned until Mothers Day lunch so hopefully I can get back in the 12s before end of month. Still struggling with exercise and definitely ate too much delayed hangover food yesterday. All in all not very golden

If I was going somewhere on my own I would go to London or Paris and just walk around, lose myself and be hopefully anonymous and unnoticeable....

BitOutOfPractice · 14/03/2017 09:30

Buggering buggers TV that's annoying!
