That's a great NSV Arsey, get down with your svelte self!

Hope you are recovering Hairspray, I agree have that weigh-in for sure. You have seen it there now, scales can't take it back. Wink

Very impressive all these half marathoners among us. Star

FreeNiki · 05/03/2017 21:40

Very impressive about the marathons. Ive stuffed a load of chocolate this afternoon.

Oh well. One day wont hurt.

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 06/03/2017 07:05

Great NSVs, well done Niki and Arsey!

I am also very impressed at all the marathon/half-marathons!

Didn't have too bad a weekend food-wise, so hopefully I won't have gained. I'm going to do fast days today and Wednesday, hopefully when I weigh in on Thursday I will see a loss. At least that is the plan!

lastqueenofscotland · 06/03/2017 07:06

I seem to have crept up to 9 11 which just doesn't make sense Angry

Squiffy01 · 06/03/2017 07:07

Just quickly checking in, I have been trying to get on all weekend and nothing will load for me so I have so much to catch up on now I'm finally able to load a thread!

Weekend was bloody crap eating Sad aiming for four golden days now though in the hopes of maintaining for the week before Venice on Friday.

Naughtysausage · 06/03/2017 07:38

Koko I have mfp set at 1400 calories and log everything up until I get home for dinner. Dinner at ours is only ever meat/fish and veg. No carbs. And usually from one of Madeline Shaws recipes. As long as I leave 500 calories for tea I know it'll be enough. But I often can't be bothered to log all the ingredients each recipe needs! It's working, so I'm not worried. My downfall has always been daytime snacking and drinking my calories.

My weekend has been a bit pants because I was so poorly, but I am down just over 2 Linda's. Not sure they'll stay off once I feel better, but mfp wanted me to weigh myself...

FeckinCrutches · 06/03/2017 07:45

Morning Grin

Starting the day on 10.7 here which is a miracle after all the drinks/rich food/scones at the weekend.

Plan for today

Track session
Banana/dippy egg with rye bread
Greek salad
Pea risotto

Aiming for 20,000 steps today

What's everyone else up to?

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 06/03/2017 07:59

Back up to 11.0. Angry Grr! Fast day today, and I'm going to Shred before dinner. Think the key is exercise! Next fast day will be Friday (between DD's birthday on Thurs and Grandad's 80th on Sat). Not holding out much hope for this week, tbh! Going to try to exercise every day in an attempt to stave off the inevitable birthday cakes.

HairsprayBabe · 06/03/2017 08:09

11.6! I am hoping that it is water weight from my boozing session, as it would not be possible to gain 3lbs in a day when all one has eaten is a cheese sandwich!

Fasting today to try to undo the damage.

Stellar67 · 06/03/2017 08:09

Caved and weighed myself. Nothing.

Feels demotivating but will keep going.

Scrambled eggs for breakfast
Chicken salad lunch
Pork and veg leftovers for dinner

No snacking.
Lots of water. I probably don't drink enough water.

TVHubbyClaire · 06/03/2017 10:31

Came off the wagon this weekendSad

pizza and cookies from Dominoes on saturday night with DS was almost allowable given i'd only had a porridge during rest of day but then yesterday I was at a concert in the afternoon so went for two course lunch first then the concert them home and went to local for too many pints. Was fun at the time but I dont feel fabulous today and dreading scales tomorrow.

And there is no way I have enough energy for exercise today.........might go shopping at lunchtime instead.....

It has to all start again tomorrow as we have a couple coming round for dinner on Saturday and I want to be slim, hungry and not feel guilty about eating and drinking as much of what I fancy then............

Some fabulous NSVs, I've never used the word svelte before but maybe I will soonSmile

BitOutOfPractice · 06/03/2017 10:40

Aww TV we all fall off the wagon at some point. How about a walk at lunchtime instead of shopping

I have 10 days before I go away and I so so so wanted to be at my initial goal of healthy BMI but I just can't seem to get there. I'm only 1.7lbs away but it's eluding me. 3lbs on. 3lbs off. So bloody frustrating

OP posts:
HairsprayBabe · 06/03/2017 10:47

I am in the same position BOOP got down to 11.3 and that was only 1 lb away at the weekend, but I can't seem to keep it there. Here's to a golden week so I can look fabulous at the wedding on Friday

BitOutOfPractice · 06/03/2017 10:49

I'm getting really fed up hairspray This date and weight has been my goal since I started last spring and I feel I'm so close but so far Sad

OP posts:
HairsprayBabe · 06/03/2017 11:01

Boop It is so frustrating isn't it! Could you try something really drastic for a few days just to tip you over the threshold, I find if I push really hard for a few days and then just be goodish for the rest of the week I can get some really good results and then keep it off.

I am doing a full 24hr fast today just herbal cleanse tea and water to try to flush out all the toxins I consumed in vodka form.

BitOutOfPractice · 06/03/2017 11:09

I could I guess. Might try a couple of fast days this week. I'm away with work towards the end of the week though which makes it tricky

FreeNiki · 06/03/2017 11:12

I have RPM booked today. Wont do a weigh in after all the crap I ate at the weekend!

QuimReaper · 06/03/2017 11:19

Lots of amazing NSVs here, well done everyone!

BOOP I know what you mean, I'm only 2kg off my goal weight but I'm stuck. I haven't actually weighed myself in ages! I could have done on Friday after a couple of seriously slimming days with that vomiting session, but I was so wiped out it didn't occur to me. The building work finally being over has thrown me a bit, I need to get back into my good walking and fasting habits, and investigate a new swimming pool. I think I shall fast today, have tomorrow off (have dinner plans), be golden on Weds and Thurs and weigh on Fri. I just really despair of ever seeing a loss again!

I've dug out my NutriThingy and just had a vegetable smoothie which should be a good start. Well, it had an apple in it. I've weaned myself off berries and bananas in smoothies but I just can't seem to go All Veg. Does anyone else smoothie?

QuimReaper · 06/03/2017 11:41

I am in AWE at all you runners! Amazing PB Archie, and inspiring stuff queenie and Fecking!

I'm drooling at the thought of cream tea...

FreeNiki · 06/03/2017 11:47

What's an nsv?

HairsprayBabe · 06/03/2017 12:21

NSV is a Non Scale Victory

So fitting into a smaller size, people noticing you look slimmer, getting in the bath without feeling like Free Willy Grin

FreeNiki · 06/03/2017 12:24

Ah. Well Im a 1lb up on the scale.

But fit into clothes that had got too tight.

So an nsv there! Grin

Softpebbles · 06/03/2017 12:31

I have had a period where I have a smoothie Quim - Mines a detox one and it has Spinach, Kale, Orange, Lime juice banana and Celery. It tastes nice and I feel quite full after it.

So I didn't make it in February but today ladies, at 6.30am, I went out and did a run for the first time in over 14 months. I'm not going to lie there were three short walks of maybe 100m each but overall 2.3 miles. I know its crap but the fact I went made me so happy and despite being bright red in the face afterwards it felt good. I have 4 PT sessions booked over the course for the month so hoping this will spur me on. My anxiety and depression really has ruled me for too long.

Wow hairspray a 24 hour fast, I've had some grapefruit and an apple today and am starving. Soup and ryvita for lunch and a yoghurt and then another apple!

I have marinated some chicken this morning in natural yoghurt, Lime juice and tikka spices. The plan is to have with pitta breads and salad tonight.

My weekend food wasn't great - I had a wagamamas yesterday which although I know would of been awful felt healthy! Its the first time I've eaten out in ages.

TV we all have time off I've had two years you've realised and are now aiming to be good again.

BOOP it will come - you see you'll have a whoosh Smile

lastqueenofscotland · 06/03/2017 12:57

Managing a super duper golden day though will hear back from the job interview today so time for it all to go wrong.

TVHubbyClaire · 06/03/2017 13:14

Thank you pebbles......well done for starting running again, I haven't ran for almost a year now and I really feel i should get back out.

queen - good luck for interview feedback!
