I'm just within the healthy weight range, but would love to lose 15lbs as that is where I felt best. Ideally I'd like to lose 1 lb per week, and be at my goal weight by Summer as we are planning a beachieve holiday - but mainly I just want to feel and look better as I haven't been taking care of myself lately. I will weigh myself every Sunday.
Today's weight: 9st4lbs (130lbs)
Goal weight: 8st3lbs (115lbs)
Lbs to go: 15

Anyone like to join?

PugwallsSummer · 05/05/2017 14:56

You're doing so well with the exercise flash - that's my weak point.

So I weighed in at 9st 5 - a 2Ib loss. Happy to finally see the scales moving again after 4 long weeks!

I'm now:

2Ib away from the upper end of the healthy BMI for my height
5Ib away from my current target
12Ib away from my ultimate goal weight.

Just got to keep going...

Flashinthepan · 05/05/2017 15:38

Well done Pug that's so good to see a loss.

And thanks! I feel the exercise is a must because I'm pretty hit and miss with the food. Although this week has been very good for me.

I am healthy BMI, but would like to lose a couple of percent body fat as thats what seems to make everything jiggly. Lol.

We can do it. Although we seem to be the only ones left...

Flashinthepan · 08/05/2017 09:22

I'm just stuck back at 10 st 7! Don't seem to be able to shift anything, despite all the exercising. I know bad snacks are my downfall so I'm going hardcore on the diet this week to see if I can see a shift.

B: 2 eggs, scrambled
L: carrot soup
D: baked potato with leek, mushroom and feta
S: banana and grapes

E: 2 mile run/1.15 yoga class

littlemissM92 · 08/05/2017 09:26

Grrrrrr back up at 9.11 did have a takeaway last night so that probs isn't helping Hmm

Flashinthepan · 08/05/2017 13:09

It could be the salt causing water retention littlemiss. Lots of water today might help!

littlemissM92 · 08/05/2017 13:22

I wish I was one of those people that find 'dieting ' easy or that when I'm stressed i don't eat but it's the opposite. Drinking lots of water as have killer headache may jump back on in a couple of days it's also 'that time' so that's probs not helping

Farontothemaddingcrowd · 08/05/2017 13:25

Hi all. I'm 11 stone at 5'6 so I really need to shift at least a stone to be comfortable. So far I have eaten a jacket with beans and a pot of chopped melon, pineapples and grapes. I'll have a can of tomato soup tonight and coffee to drink.

PugwallsSummer · 08/05/2017 16:33

Was moderately good over the weekend apart from one meal out, which involved wine, 3 courses and a cheeseboard. Oh and a couple of Irish coffees and a baileys Blush

Going to attempt VLC this week as want to get to 9st asap (really want to be at goal weight by my birthday which is early June).

Today:

B: a pear
L: weight watchers soup and 2 rice cakes
S: an apple
D: weight watchers chicken tikka and a light Greek yoghurt for pudding

W: 1.5 litres
E: school run with DD2 in baby Bjorne

Foreverlexicon · 09/05/2017 05:39

Hi,
Sorry for going totally AWOL almost immediately after starting!

I got engaged on Tuesday!! Which led to some major celebrations and then I picked up some awful stomach bug which left me with my head in a bucket for a couple of days and a couple of more days rendered completely useless flopping about in bed and eating carbs.

Sadly my weight has shot up not down but I'm sure a week of normal eating will see it right again.

I still feel a bit iffy but back at work again today so may as well try to eat a bit better. Still can't even face the smell of coffee (it started 2 sips into a morning coffee) which, as a major caffeine addict, is pretty devastating.

Sounds like you guys are doing really well though!

PugwallsSummer · 09/05/2017 09:10

Congratulations forever! I did wonder whether your partner was going to pop the question when you said he had plans! Sorry to hear you've been unwell though.

There is nothing more motivating than an imminent wedding dress to spur on your weight loss!

🍾

Flashinthepan · 09/05/2017 11:49

Congratulartions forever and welcome Faron!

It's my wedding anniversary today so going out for dinner tonight.

B: yoghurt and fruit compote and a slice of sourdough toast.
L: homemade chicken and veg soup.
D: have decided to go for good protein/low carb so fish, steak etc. No dessert but will have a couple of glasses of wine.
S: grapes and a banana.

E: 2 mile walk.

Farontothemaddingcrowd · 09/05/2017 13:25

Congratulations forever and thanks for the welcome *flash.'
I have eaten a baked potato with beans again and a side salad. Fruit for dessert. Then I'll have soup tonight with a small bread roll. I'm determined to do it this time!

PugwallsSummer · 10/05/2017 10:45

Morning all :)

Was good yesterday:

B: a pear
S: satsuma
L/D: large baked potato with light Philadelphia, green salad with spoonful reduced fat coleslaw, 1/3 grilled chicken breast sliced.
S: banana and light Greek yoghurt.

W: 2 litres (although half from coffee - mainly decaf at least)
E: school run

Just waiting for DD2 to wake up so I can nip into town to pick up a new top I ordered. The BEST thing about losing weight for me - enjoying clothes shopping again 👍

Foreverlexicon · 10/05/2017 11:04

Pug - sounds very healthy!

Yesterday was an improved but not great day for me.

Breakfast was a nut and seed bar, a cheese and onion pasty for lunch and I nibbled loads of crisps. I was still feeling rough and this was all I could face.

Felt better by tea time and dinner was pork stir fry with noodles and a muller corner yoghurt for pud. Also realised that was my first day without chocolate for a long time Blush

Flashinthepan · 10/05/2017 13:02

Oh yes Pug clothes shopping is what motivates me!

Yesterday was good although I indulged a bit more at dinner by having a dessert but did stick to the lowish carbs by having a steak instead of pasta.

Today:

B: none (wasn't hungry after big dinner)
L: homemade chicken and veg soup, slice of bread, slice of cheddar
D: salmon with vegetables
S: banana, grapes and pitta chips

E: 2 mile walk and JM Ripped in 30.

PugwallsSummer · 10/05/2017 23:15

Today:

B: a banana and a pear
L: tomato & basil soup, 2 rivita crisp breads
D: barbecued chicken with a honey & mustard glaze, asparagus and barbecued slices of potato. Light Greek yoghurt for pudding

W: 1.5 l
E: short walk

littlemissM92 · 11/05/2017 07:32

Can someone please help I'm so confused.., I've been 9.10-9.11 the last week to ten days I had a period last week and know this can make you heavier for whatever reason. Weighed this morn and am 9.9 1/4 is this right?! They are v good scales

PugwallsSummer · 11/05/2017 08:42

littlemiss it's so frustrating isn't it! My scales fluctuate by 1Ib / 2Ib every day with no apparent reasoning. I put it down to water retention or loss if I've been really good. Usually I weigh less all week then more on weigh day!! Angry

Foreverlexicon · 11/05/2017 09:04

Yesterday was a fairly good day
B - nut and seed bar and a banana
L - sausage and onion baguette, handful crisps and half a yoghurt (not great but OH was off and wanted a 'treat' for lunch
D - hairy dieters steak and mushroom pie with veg and sweet potato mash
Pudding - few squares of fruit and nut choc

Exercise - rode 3 horses and relevant stable chores

My aim for the moment is just to get back to eating normal meals and not eating my weight in chocolate after dinner as I've gotten in a terrible habit of just grazing on junk all day.
