I'm just within the healthy weight range, but would love to lose 15lbs as that is where I felt best. Ideally I'd like to lose 1 lb per week, and be at my goal weight by Summer as we are planning a beachieve holiday - but mainly I just want to feel and look better as I haven't been taking care of myself lately. I will weigh myself every Sunday.
Today's weight: 9st4lbs (130lbs)
Goal weight: 8st3lbs (115lbs)
Lbs to go: 15

Anyone like to join?

Easter weigh in = 10st1.5 lb
3.5lb since I joined the thread six weeks ago, so slow progress, but I'm pleased!!

Very well done to you all who have seen a loss since I last checked in. Let's keep going for summer Smile

This weekend will be a write off for me Blush Think I'll go for a run for a little damage limitation and start again on Tues. I may well need a kick to restart next week Grin

PugwallsSummer · 15/04/2017 15:19

Well done flower!

No loss for me this week and have fluctuated between 9.6 and 9.9 throughout the week - not sure why.

After tomorrow I'm going to try to step it up a notch to get beyond 9.7 and on my way towards 9.

Really want to reach my ultimate target of 8.7 by June. Not sure if it's possible anymore...

VelvetSparkles · 17/04/2017 11:46

Hello! I know you've been going a while but I'd love to join you. Have just about a stone I want to lose. Lost 4 stone over the last 18 months by eating more healthily... now stuck. Dont drink but reading these threads think I need to up my water intake and move more... currently only doing about 4k steps a day due to my long (car) commute and sedentary job. Dont actually own a set of scales but reckon on a stone to get back into my summer shorts. Anyone interested in joining me on my "get moving" incentive. Planning on parking further from the office (and knocking my Costa habits on the head - my last sin) so hopefully a little thinner, a little richer (parking is cheaper the further out you are too) and a little fitter by August. Any tips for motivation? Thanks!

PugwallsSummer · 17/04/2017 12:21

Hi sparkles! Definitely up for joining you in upping my exercise levels, for me that will mean more walking now the weather is getting better.

PugwallsSummer · 17/04/2017 17:21

Has anyone else spent the weekend stuffing their faces??

Urgh.

If I've managed not to put on weight this week I'll be amazed.

Back on the wagon tomorrow and I'm going to post what I've eaten every day - sorry, I know it's boring and repetitive but it does keep me on track.

littlemissM92 · 17/04/2017 18:40

I haven't been too bad just a fair few mini eggs but not more treat wise than I would usually eat so am hoping scales won't be too bad tomorrow plus we moved house last week so barely had time to eat and so much lifting and carrying

Flashinthepan · 18/04/2017 13:46

I've been off the wagon for a few days as was on holiday, not so much chocolate but just lots of food, and cheese!!!!

10 st 5, so up a pound but hoping I can be back at 10 st 4 by next weigh in, if I can be super good this week!

I seem to lose about 1/2 pound a week if I'm working on it. Will do 2 mile run and 30 day shred tonight.

PugwallsSummer · 18/04/2017 19:35

Today:

B: one slice wholemeal toast with sugar free PB, a satsuma
S: a pear
L: chicken breast with salad, a small amount of coleslaw and a flat bread
S: an apple
D: weight watchers meal and a roll, a satsuma

W: 1.5 liters
E: none

More carbs than I intended today, will improve on that tomorrow.

DeliciousIrony · 18/04/2017 20:10

Is it too late to join this thread? I worked up the courage to weigh myself recently for the first time in ages, and at 9 and a half stone and 5'4, I'm about a stone above my 'happy weight'...I also really want to fit into a dress for a wedding in 2.5 weeks time, which is just a bit too tight to zip up since I last wore it 4 years ago...

Today I have eaten about 1200 calories, managed not to drink any diet coke, and have done a Jillian DVD and some hula hooping.

Flashinthepan · 19/04/2017 09:47

Welcome Delicious it's never too late! I'm only 2-3 pounds down and I joined a while ago.

Today:
B: porridge with raisins
L: homemade curried vegetable soup
D: steak salad with homemade wedges
S: Banana and homemade pitta chips

Decaf tea with skimmed milk and water.

Sorry for TMI but it's 'time of the month' and it's just so much harder not to eat junk! But am hoping a pound was water weight, which might come up with not much effort.

PugwallsSummer · 19/04/2017 21:47

Hi delicious!

Today:

B: weetabix with honey, an apple
S: banana
D: lamb koftes with rice & veg
S: light Greek yoghurt

W: 1 litre
E: moderate walk

Busy today so skipped lunch.

robinia · 20/04/2017 11:12

Hi @delicious

Have nearly made my next target. I'm 10st 5 today which is only 1lb over the weight I was before I had children about 20 years ago. So I am jumping around the house!
I've kept quite disciplined over Easter. Ds brings me one mini egg a day, as per instructions! Otherwise I'm still on a regime of
B: none.
L: usually leftovers from the previous day, so a decent sized meal, no restrictions
D: decent meal, no restrictions

S: fruit - usually satsumas or similar but they've been a bit bleugh recently so have had some grapes and the very occasional banana.
Sunday - I have dessert after Sunday lunch, no restrictions, chocolate sponge, apple crumble, lemon meringue pie, chocolate trifle - whatever I've made for the others I eat.

Have slipped off the straight and narrow a couple of times - usually at PMT time.

Lots of exercise. Tennis etc. - not into gym or swimming.

robinia · 20/04/2017 11:13

And lots of water or squash.

littlemissM92 · 20/04/2017 12:13

Robinia well done bet you feel amazing. About a month ago I tried the no breakfast for a fortnight and t wasn't as bad as I thought I lost 2lb the first week due to it I was following that only eating in 8hour period inn24 hours so I went for 12-8 maybe I should go back to it

robinia · 20/04/2017 12:35

I do feel amazing Grin

For me it really had to be an all or nothing and very simple to do approach. I've not eaten breakfast for a few years now so that was easy. The hard bits were cutting out the diet Coke - but now when I do have it, if I'm out for example (I allow myself to eat/drink anything when out with friends/oh) I dont even like it so much any more. And cutting out the snacks. Used to eat a lot in the evening after dinner. And grazed while cooking meals too.

Flashinthepan · 20/04/2017 15:19

Well done Robinia. That's so great!

I really need a plan I can stick to. Exercising lots I find quite easy but it doesn't seem to help me lose much weight these days, just tone up. For me it's snacking. I'm a snacker. Which would be ok if I ate tiny meals. But I don't. Argh!

DeliciousIrony · 20/04/2017 21:38

Nice one robinia

On track with calories and exercise so far (usually a JM DVD of some description). I'm not planning on weighing myself for another couple of weeks as I get disheartened easily...

PugwallsSummer · 20/04/2017 21:41

Fantastic robinia! You must feel great!

Today:

B: the usual - weetabix with honey, a satsuma
S: a banana
D: omelette with cheese and onions with sweet potato chips, light Greek yoghurt for dessert

W: 1litre
E: walk with pram

Really annoyed with DH. He made the omelette and put 3 cloves of garlic in!! It tasted really weird but I couldn't work out why until he triumphantly shared his secret sodding ingredient. But worse than that, I'm at the flipping dentists first thing!! 😡
It was also swimming in a sea of olive oil. Not good. Feel bleugh.
