For the record, I started out (May 19) at 11 stone 2 and am now 10 and a half stone A total loss of 9 pounds

Coddy's potential wrath has been inspirational! Plus of course the support of the rest of you (although the thread does go quiet at times).

coddys day so far:

breakfast- bran lfakes and banana
half a croissant ( too boring to explain why, notnormally on my menu!)

Lunch- salad , dressing and a hard boiled egg
2 mini choc muffins

supper chicken pomodoro
wine

wk's day so far;

one slice of toast thinly spread with peanut butter and with a banana on top
one apple

half a (big) bowl of sugar-free jelly (throughout the day)

one sausage roll (sis bought it for me for lunch)

4 rice cakes

no dinner....as yet

bear in mind it hasn't been a typical day - I've just felt very fat today with "lardy arse" resounding in my head!!! If I ate like that every day I'd be a size 8!!!

I usually do have a far more balanced diet than that!! I don't work (yet) but I had loads to do today so just grabbed what I could when I could.

what would be a good lunch?
have you time to empty abag of salad adn say some ham or tune or an egg?
i do mine in a huge pyrex bowl and it takes ages to eat

A typical day at the moment would be;

2 slices of toast with peanut butter or jam (no butter, not allowed )
Piece of fruit

Fruit/veg to snack on

Sandwich or some pasta with tomatoey type sauce and veg

Meat, potatoes or rice and veg

Please help me ladies. I went on my holiday to France and ate everything in sight, some things hidden in cupboards and then some more things and then chips etc etc
I went away at 10.5 and now I'm 10.10
I'm distressed and need to restart my efforts to get down to under 10 stone.
I've had a low fat yogurt and a banana for breakfast.

hi everyone - been giggleing away at TC and WK's exchanges
3 sguars TC !! - wait till coddy reads that!!
I've l ost 11lbs so far and I havn't been that good (wine!)
My tips are to avoid snacking - as WK said it is suprising what creeps in!!
Have a good breakfast - cereals and bananna do work and this is from the Queen breakfast skipper who grabs a handful of biscuits at 10.30!!!!
Welshmum - eat a filling breakfast, salald and a protein for lunch, snack on fruit, and not too much carbohydrate in the evening!
I've got 7lbs to loose in 4 weeks so need to get my act together....
right, off to eat my branflakes now (nice - not!)

10 stone 6 this morning But not really been feeling well this week - been struggling in to work, when really I should have taken the time off and curled up in bed.

Anyway, that's 10lb now from the start.Should break 10 stone before the end of the month Clothes are noticeably looser

Well after dropping from 11.3 to 10.13 in the first week I'm having a terrible time at the moment and both comfort and binge eating... help... how do I stop this when I feel so miserable and then stuffing my face then feeling worse cos I'm putting on weight again

The other night I ate a full dinner, half a packet of buscuits, half litre of ice cream, 6 pack of petit filous mini deserts, 4 fat free yogurts and dds packet of smarties... I am disgusted and ashamed of myself but that doesn't seem to stop me. That by the way was everything sweet that I had in the house, once it had all gone I had 2 hot chocolates and contemplated making flapjacks but forced myself to go to bed instead

What should I do? I've told you all in the hope that writing it down and telling someone will shame me into stopping

eerr slightly nervous to join in on this one, sounds like you already all know each other.(or intimidating)..here goes- hi, guys, reading this thread as a reasonably new MN'er, sounds hilarious, also quite inspirational!, well done ladies,ME- 'just turned 40, a size 18 (13 stone ish- i suppose- no scales allowed in house) BC- 10 stone, quite active- not "too" bothered by size- sort of built an image in mind that says thats ok, do eat healthy, Friends too polite to call me "lardy" which i presume I really am- eerr...can I join in for a bit of bullying and inspiration.. ?

CODDY - you crack me up so much!!! I do NOT look like that thankyou!!!! Much more like this these days - honest!!!! And I'm not a huge proker, and I hardly eat anything these days, and barely ever try to justify it....blub blub

janz - sounds like you're doing well, don't beat yourself up!!!

fizog - just keep posting on here and soon coddy will have a go at you so much that the weight will drop off just through pure fright!!!

jema - we were all new once but now we all get on SO well (stop glaring at me coddy) - just go ahead and join in. Am sure coddy will bully you much more than the rest of us could but to start you off;

OMG - how can I ell you this? Actually don't know if I can.
Oh no . he heeeeeee.......th shame of this.
Right if I tell you what I ate you have to be a bit gentle with me don't all go too mad.

Right well I had a fish finger sandwich for tes BUT then D came home and he made me order a curry with him! So I had a vegatable korma and onion bahjees. Then today......... ohhhh, Coddy don't shout TOO hard... 2 slices organic yummy toast that cried out for .... peanut butter! Went to hospital with l, came back pitta bread with tatziki, chicken, feata cheese and salad. Oh and then D is still at work now and hate cooking for just me so ordered a pizza with a cream and garlic herb sauce and they copies the order I had last time so it arrived with pottowedges and ........... chocolate icecream!!!!!!!!!!
Also on 4th glass of wine. Packet of maltesers in fridge too. However I didn't have any tea or coffee today so no sugars!!!!!!!!!! Ohhhhhhhh, I'm rubbish arn't I

God my typing is bad, almost Cod like!!!!!!!! I think my fingers are too fat to hit the keys properly! They are full of creamy PIZZA.... pizza from the Gods it was!!!!!! And don't get me started on that icecream!!!!!!!
