So...this is a thread arising from a thread, rather than about a thread!

This is a weightloss chat and challenge thread for those above average height (5'7 and above) who are hoping to lose a few lbs, or possibly more.

I'm 32, mother of 1 DS (4months) 5ft7 and currently 13st2.5lbs.

I'm hoping to lose 42lbs!

I'm using mfp to track calories. I'm breastfeeding so aiming for 1800ish. I'm going for the slow and steady approach.

I've an underactive thyroid and birth trauma which limits the exercise I can do at the moment.

Welcome new people. There is also a Facebook group (same name) should anyone wish to join.

I've had a bad couple of weeks but haven't gained, which is a massive positive for me. Back on it now. Today I baked a cake but also went to yoga and for a 3+ mile walk, so overall pretty good.

One day at a time.

That's very impressive! I've gained since last week, partially because I haven't been good and partially because I didn't exercise as much last week. But my clothes don't feel tigger so that makes me feel a little better.

Tigger? Tighter. Hmm
