SoakedinBleach · 29/03/2016 21:02

Also going to start logging tomorrow as I cant remember what i've eaten today Blush which is not good!! Thanks for all the adds on MFP, i'm feeling really motivated !

FirstOfficerDouglasRichardson · 29/03/2016 21:04

Can I just ask are we going to weigh in on a particular day or just whenever?

hellokittehhhh · 29/03/2016 21:40

I too am feeling motivated soaked entered my breakfast and lunch on mfp for tomorrow already!

firstofficer I'm going to weigh on a Saturday as it's the best day for me, don't know whether to bother this Saturday or wait til next Saturday as I didn't start properly til tomorrow today!

ijustwanttobeme · 29/03/2016 21:50

FODR how about Mondays, as that's when most of us started?

Now I've got MFP pals I have incentive to stick to my calorie intake (1100) and not cheat. But er, having said that, I did go a little over today, but in terms of low carb it was spot on. nova I have exactly the same issue with biscuits etc at work, it's so hard isn't it? I cannot seem to just have one biscuit either, so that's why going low carb is the only option for me.

lorelei9here · 29/03/2016 22:13

FODR Monday, with ascerbic wit and Surprising Rice!

SoakedinBleach · 29/03/2016 22:29

hellokitteh haha that is super motivated!!
I think I might weigh in on a Monday too, as that's when I started not tomorrow honestly actually scrap that am going to weigh in on a Friday so I can be motivated (hopefully) through the weekend which is when I normally lose my way.
I struggle with biscuits at work too!Don't buy them for home so that's one way of resisting! Also will just be buying boring crisps for the DC as nice crisps are my real weakness!
Going to eat whatever I want , but stick below 1100 cals to hopefully lead to a 2lb weight loss per week. Will also allow myself a bit of wiggle room as long as my weekly cals total up on track. I had some success before with the 5:2 diet, but now I have a toddler I find I'm out of energy by tea time so going to just stick to low cal.
Good luck for the week ahead every one!!!

Cocoaone · 29/03/2016 22:32

I'm intrigued by 'surprising rice'

I have decided to set myself some exercise rules - I either do 10k on the Fitbit, or an exercise DVD each day. I really struggle to fit in exercise, but need to force myself (more for health reasons)

Hellokittehhh - I think you're right, prep is the key. I'm sooo lazy with food. I need a kick up the bum!

FirstOfficerDouglasRichardson · 29/03/2016 23:21

Monday it is then!

Good to have you on board, Douglas, I'm sure we can make it more fun
And we can always dump any excess sweeties on to your ex wife's car Grin

Am I the only person not logging? I have previously counted meal plans. I just find tracking so dull.

I may have gone to the pub last night, then came home and ate the choc someone gave me. Oops. But I missed lunch today, didn't fancy it oddly, so an okay day.

Snoopadoop · 30/03/2016 06:47

Tracking food on MFP is dull but if I don't do it I'm capable of eating without realising it, I'm a snacker (I can ingest quite a heroic quantity of festive sushi). Grin

FirstOfficerDouglasRichardson · 30/03/2016 06:49

Oh bugger I've posted as snoopadoop again! It's too early in the morning. It's FODR here. Can I get in trouble, is this what MN refer to as sick puppeting?

Stellar67 · 30/03/2016 07:12

Hi all, I've lost some weight but it's creeping back up so I'd like to get back on the wagon. I'm a crisp addict. I have MFP and a Fitbit. Can message my email for the Fitbit if anyone would like to do challenges.

GertrudeBadger · 30/03/2016 07:16

Didn't do too badly yesterday - no sugar and as was going through 2 airports with lots of temptation was quite good...Only 6 more days to go until the weigh in!

FirstOfficerDouglasRichardson · 30/03/2016 07:31

TippyTappyLappyToppy · 30/03/2016 09:14

I had a really good couple of days with limited carbs up until last night when DH went out and I decided I'd have a sneaky glass of wine and the TV to myself. Hadn't had any for a few days - big mistake. I didn't feel very hungry so picked on cheese and olives then got the munchies just before bed and at a hot cross bun. Angry

I ALWAYS do this, so predictable. Hmm Anyway, I still seem to have lost some weight, (amazingly) as I had been very good for the previous few days so this morning I am 11.11 which s 3lbs down from this time last week. Can't complain at that.

ThisToo · 30/03/2016 09:48

Help! I feel dreadful this morning. It was our wedding anniversary yesterday and we went out for dinner. I did not make wise choices, ate way too much and feel dreadful this morning. Feels like I have failed already and we aren't even half way through week one Sad

tigerchair · 30/03/2016 10:04

Thistoo, just draw a line under yesterday. One evening will not derail you if you get straight back to eating well today. And it was your wedding anniversary so occasions like this will happen, it's relearning that one night off plan doesn't mean a full week of eating badly!! I need to do this too, I ended up drinking wine again last night as still off on holiday leave from work (any excuse!!) ... then some chocolate and a couple of buns got scoffed!! Off to update mfp and get myself back on plan this morning.

Hope you all have a good day Smile

tigerchair · 30/03/2016 10:10

Tippy, well done on 3lbs off, that's great!! Smile

ThisToo · 30/03/2016 10:25

Thanks tiger I needed to hear that. You are right of course, I need to adopt the 'today is a new day' attitude and not beat myself up. I just seem to have this perfectionist idea that if I can't do something perfectly then there's no point trying and have these unrealistic expectations. I definitely need to learn to cut myself a bit more slack and have a more measured approach.
I shall get back on track today and remind myself of Tippy's great 3lb weight loss despite her cheese, olives and hot cross bun intake. Well done Tippy great inspiration for the likes of me Smile

Stellar67 · 30/03/2016 10:49

I think I've added everyone on MFP.

Okay I'm in the mood. I've done my food shop, charged up the Fitbit, dug out the water bottle.

Stellar67 · 30/03/2016 10:52

Tippy well done! That's exactly what I do, be good then eat everything.

I agree, draw a line. Even the next hour will be better can work. I hope you enjoyed your wedding anniversary dinner Smile

Cocoaone · 30/03/2016 12:34

Well done Tippy! * Thistoo* - this reminds me of a song on Macklemore's latest album called 'Let's Eat' (link below). It's a bit of a joke song, but resonates with me so much - especially that 'fuck it - I've ruined my diet and it's only Tuesday so might as well eat crap and start again next week'--

We need to get away from this thinking! Hope you had a lovely anniversary X

Cocoaone · 30/03/2016 12:40

Ps - that song is very sweary!
