I'm looking for a buddy to join me and help motivate to lose some of this flab! I'm 5'7" and about 12st but will weigh in tomorrow morning.

I've had a surprising .5lb loss this week. The kids are on holiday so I haven't been to the gym, and my original weigh in was done Friday before last and I've had an indulgent weekend away since then. I'm happy it hasn't gone up!

gah - actually managed to gain 1 lb this week - not sure how I accomplished this feat - hoping for better results this week, clearly I'm going to have to try harder on the portion size!

Keeesh that's exactly what happened to me. I had all the correct footwear. But I sent to see a sports physio and he thinks insoles may be the way forward but does we have to see if it's my trainers or it was a random injury.
So if it comes back when I go back out I'll know it's trainers.
Yoga has helped me. Smile

Thanks Stellar - my motivation for weight loss is being able to get into a single pair of my jeans - only the loose fitting/unstructured things in my wardrobe are currently get into-able. I stopped BF (a year ago now) and since then the weight gain has been steady as I've just not re-adjusted. Similar thing happened with DC1 and I didn't sort it until that DC was 3...

A bit late to the party but I'm in. I'm recovering from major surgery at the moment so am unusually sedentary and feeling like a slob; exercise is just a stroll at the moment (often with a sleep afterwards). This sloblike-feeling has not been helped by making the wrong food choices so I am delighted to have found you all. Does anyone have a list of all the MFP & Fitbit names that people have put forward? I'd like to add everyone!

3lbs loss- whew.

Like cocoa went back to work, but went prepared with breakfast, lunch and snack options (for the 4 days I'm in the office!)

Walked to work too, which I added to MFP. I am going to delete it though, as like I said in an earlier post, immediately I thought 'aha, that's another 50 calories I can eat...'

Hi checking in after a few days off from the thread. Am doing ok I guess although not as well as I know I could be doing on low carb if i really pulled my finger out. Am 11.10 today which is 4lb down since I joined the thread. I've been a lazy arse this week as well, I'll admit it and I've allowed some red wine to creep back into my day. Hmm

Please can I join in? I'm doing SW but have been rubbish since New Year as there have been birthdays etc.
We go away in 8 weeks and I really want to fit into my summer clothes.
Last year I got so big I was back in tops I was wearing when pg and bf'ing and ds was nearly 3

I need to start exercising so today have walked round the local lake.

Today was my start day of using MFP again but after spending ages putting in the details for recipes of meals i made today it keeps coming up error on app Angry I have given up and just done my excerise instead. I hate evenings they make me want to eat out of boredom. Away to drown myself in tea to keep myself feeling filled. Dh comes home Wed after being away for 3 weeks for work which means 1 thing, wine! Wine Not sure i will be able to resist, things are stessful at the minute and i really miss him when he is away.

Can I join? I've lost 5 stones since last July and am aiming to get to pre baby weight before the youngest graduates in July! The past month I've yoyo'd around 11.5 and not made any progress so need help and a virtual kick up the backside.

I'm on a low carb diet based around the second cycle of the 17 day diet - but my dh has been telling everyone that I've lost so much by giving up alcohol!

I didn't write on what my motivation is . On the 21st may DH and me are meeting up with friends of ours we havent seen for a while. Lovely couple, lady is ten years younger than me and half my size and I always feel like an old frumpy mum when i'm with her. I don't expect to be a size 8 and 30 but I would just like to feel like i'm not squeezed into some horrid outfit.

I'm in. Have registered on MFP and finding it really helpful, especially the motivation forum. I gave up chocolate for lent and apart from inhaling a Terry's Chocolate Orange on Easter Sunday, I haven't really had the urge for it since which I'm hoping will help with this attempt at losing some of the flab.

18 weeks at 2lb a week loss will put me at 9 st 7lb which is my target but I'll be happy with 10st 7lb

Rubbishy day today, as have eaten almost double the number of calories (and carbs) I should Blush

Even with my insanity workout and walking 20 mins to and from work, I'd still not be under. Hey ho. Getting back on the wagon tomorrow.
