I'm looking for a buddy to join me and help motivate to lose some of this flab! I'm 5'7" and about 12st but will weigh in tomorrow morning.

tiredemma - we've all done the demolish a cake/ packet of chocolate hob nobs/ slab of cheese and thought wtf afterwards .

Hello everyone!

Impromptu day meant a trip to Maccas. Thought I'd be good and order the chilli chicken wrap, but hadn't anticipated that it was crispy chicken (had assumed grilled, for some reason Confused) so around 460 cals rather than 350.

Hoping not to go over by too many cals today, although DH has just tried to persuade me to get Chinese takeout tonight! We've only been married 8 months, is it too late for a divorce?!

Those wraps are delish though cocoa!! The chinese takeaway idea is probably ok ... some dishes are fine when slimming eg chop suey or chowmein. Just steer clear of the prawn crackers Grin

Well I've not eaten too much today but none of it's been healthy! Will join in with MFP when I get a phone sorted as I managed to drown my waterproof one Blush. Still trying to get rid of eat all of the party food!

In a dangerous situation right now. Dh is doing a woodworking job that we need to accompany him to and the kids have come armed with Easter chocolate. not that they'd offer me any I already feel tempted though!!

Tiger I've only got 500 cals left, I'm pretty sure I can't squeeze even a half portion of chow mein into that from my Chinese Grin

Plus it's dinner at the in-law's tomorrow, so no doubt MIL will have cooked everything swimming in oil or cream, as usual

cocoa stay strong! My DM often cooks a delicious full fat feast, even when she knows I'm trying to lose weight! She will offer two desserts (insists you try both), then biscuits, then sometimes she brings out chocolate with coffee. DH sometimes thinks he is appearing on an episode of Man V Food. My DM absolutely insists that he takes seconds and thirds!!

ahh the weigh in is only 2 days away..not a terrible week, probably the best one for some time but I'm still eating too much food overall, although much less chocolate. Let's see if I've managed to lose any weight by Sunday!

tiger one of their pasta dishes is OK calories wise I think (lots of green veg) but was tasteless IIRC. Or they do a low-ish cal pizza with salad in the middle? Or be a super dieter and go for a proper salad...

I'm cooking a butter bean tomato thing. Small amount of chorizo in... Smells delicious! Will probably be starving after an hour though

If it makes anyone feel better, I just inhaled a packet of steak flavoured McCoys. Probably not best diet food. Don't even know how they got in the cupboard, but I'll blame DH....

My worst time is after tea and I just want to eat chocolate. I have done fairly well since Tuesday hoping that I have lost 1lb by Tuesday next week. I keep trying to imagine wearing nice summer clothes and not feeling self conscious or wearing a long cardigan . I have stopped buying some like high sugar and fat foods and have a bowl of cereal if I get desperate !! It feels like a long haul but One step at a time. good luck all

DS3 has gone on a school trip abroad. I went into his room and found he'd left half an opened Easter egg just sitting there. Shock

It took all my willpower and even now I can hear it calling to me.
