I have 10 stone to lose overall. There, I said it. No going back now. I miss riding my horse, I miss being happy and I have a toddler that doesn't want a sweaty elephant for a mum.
Anyone want to join me for some moral support?

I'd like to join please! I've just got steadily bigger, comfort eating mainly. Have 4 stone to lose. Done WW before and will follow again. Also going to exercise more and reduce meal size and have healthy snacks! No more scoffing the kids uneaten food either! Starting on 4th Jan.

Can I join? I'm looking to make some major life changes this year and losing my excess weight is one of them.
Until about 6 months ago I was a decent weight and super fit. Then I started having a lot of stress at work and just lost my motivation and have gained so much weight that I now just feel gigantic.
I'm aiming to lose about 2.5 to 3 stone next year.
Bring it on!

I'm in. Went out for lunch today with friends and one of them took a photo of me holding their new baby- I'm looking down at him- and I literally have three chins. Not a good look. My size 14s were tight before Christmas and now i can't do my face jeans up. Dreading going back to work on Monday and squeezing into work clothes. It's all gone on my belly and face. I look a treat.

Not braved the scales but will do on Sunday, and then will start MFP and cross trainer action on 4th Jan.

I've got about 3 stone to lose. Will be good to weigh in and post on this thread weekly. I would like to go to SW or similar but can never fit it in with work and the kids, I work long hours and the village I live in hasn't got a group.

Good luck to you all- this time next year we will be a lot less porky!!

Can I join too?
I'm doing Cambridge though, it's the only one that works for me so I've been and signed up again tonight and start tomorrow.
I want to lose 2 stone to take me back to pre baby weight possibly 2.5 so should hopefully be there in 8 weeks.
I thought there was a Cambridge diet section but can't see it.

Oooooh I'm in too. I have at least 3, ideally 4 stone to lose. I've lost weight on SW before but started to maintain every week so stopped going and put it all back on plus an extra 2 stone. This time I want to try the 5:2 diet and do the 30 day shred along side it. I'm going travelling in July and want to have lost at least some of the weight by then Smile.

Oh me too op I'm in the same boat as you but I probably have a bit more than 10st if I'm being honest Blush - I've struggled with BED for a number of years. I've downloaded the couch to 5k app for starters.

Can anyone do one of those weightloss spreadsheets and share it with the group? I've seen it done on one of the similar threads. The different weigh in days wouldn't matter because we could just do it by numbering the weeks rather than specific dates.

Please can I join in.. Feel so yuk and grotty at the moment. Need to lose 5 stone. I lost three stone a few years ago and out that plus extra back on again.

I have a Fitbit, ds2 has a treadmill I should use really, I'll join MFP again. I just brought a book I'd seen mentioned on mn called "Fat is a feminist issue" and I brought some scales today as I've not owned any for at least 9 years! I previously did the 30 day shred religiously for months (another discovery thanks to mn!) and just brought jillian Michaels beginners 30 day shred as I don't think I would manage the original 30DS right now.

So.. I have a hen weekend in Marbella in June so really need to kick my arse and get sorted. My friends are all svelt marathon runners so really don't want to look the token fat friend on holiday with them!!

I'm starting already to sort my diet out.
I've written a menu planner for the whole of January. Told the DC out New Years resolution is no takeaway for the whole month. Purely online shopping and no venturing into any shops for "a few bits and bobs" which is when I buy donuts and £1 bag of chocolate when it's on offer...

Arkkorox · 29/12/2015 20:16

I need to make an effort to do that too, popping into shops is just asking for trouble tbh.

I need to lose about 7 stone . I am so in. Just trying to decide what plan to follow. I made up my own last time which was working well but got expensive.

gabi that's a good idea. I would do one but right now I've got a lot on my plate. (No pun intended!) If someone else could that would be great. And if they do my username is FattyNinjaOwl, this one is a festive NC.

I'd like to join you all. Would be very happy to lose 3 stone. I'm tall & can carry a bit of extra weight, but I hate it. Sadly I have little willpower, but it helps to have the support of a thread like this. So I'm in!

I am in! Have gone from a size 20/22 to a 16, but I am back in my 18s after a couple of months of mindless eating. When I am eating healthily I stick to a veggie/wholefoods diet. I will be going back on that, but reducing my carb portions this time round. And I need to cut down on the booze Confused I hope to lose 4 stones and will be starting on Mon 4th. Good luck y'all

Can I join in please? I have 3 1/2 stone to lose, i can't afford to join a slimming club or anything but I really hate the way I am at the minute and I am determined this is the year it changes.

I have a severely disabled ds, sometimes I don't leave the house for days at a time but my dear friend has just given me her old exercise bike so now I can try and get fitter despite being stuck indoors most of the time.
