I have 10 stone to lose overall. There, I said it. No going back now. I miss riding my horse, I miss being happy and I have a toddler that doesn't want a sweaty elephant for a mum.
Anyone want to join me for some moral support?

Right, have joined the FB group - lovely to see you all there - and had a gym induction today to get ahead of the new starters next week. I've also booked in for a fitness assessment (full on exercise test, body fat etc) on Sunday which will be interesting in the sense of getting a baseline for fitness and body fat so I can see it improve throughout the year. Like a lot of PP, I struggle for childcare so have to fit in bits when I can but I do manage dog walking daily.

Got this book off Amazon, its not just weight loss. Not opened it yet as its literally just arrived and I'm waiting until I have child free time to give it my full attention. It was recommended on another thread so hope its good.

I've got the 30 day shred DVD somewhere and the beginner shred DVD which I'll be starting with, no way I could do full shred yet. Also have an old davina one in the cupboard that I could do for variety. Plus at least one dog walk a day.

littlepinkgiraffe · 31/12/2015 11:57

I've requested to join the Fb group too.

TenTinyTadpoles · 31/12/2015 11:58

I love the cover pic on the FB group :)

AtSea1979 · 31/12/2015 12:00

Oh I've never heard of beginner Shred, that's sounds better. I always find it hard when Gillian says ++lbs people can do star jumps and I struggle to do them.
Finally managed to get through the pages, anyone else struggling FB link on page 8.

I'm in as I need a kick to get me going. I have 5 stones to lose. I made a start last year, but got injured and put all the weigh back on.

I'm starting on Monday because I have wine to drink and cheese to eat before then.

purplewhale · 31/12/2015 12:11

Oooh good call on the measurements! That was really motivating last time!

Who do I pm to join the group?

WicketWoo · 31/12/2015 12:17

May I join too. I'm looking at 2-3 stones but I'll know more on Monday. I've applied to join the Facebook group too.

Great idea. Looking forward to supporting each other.

cankleofglitter · 31/12/2015 12:23

Is there room for another one? I lost nearly two stone between September and December with SW but I want to go it alone. The SW leader is patronising and I can't stand her any longer. If I lose weight with you lot I can spend the £20 I save on not going to SW on a treat for myself instead just not wine or chocolate

I've requested to join the group. I want to lose a couple of stone.

TheOnlyPink · 31/12/2015 12:24

atsea there's another thread running where posters are using that book. I've lurked a bit, it sounds like a brilliant idea!

sillyoldfool · 31/12/2015 12:36

Can I join? 10 stone to loose here too...
7 stone to the weight I was three babies ago...

Arkkorox · 31/12/2015 12:45

cankle that's why I left, yours wasn't called Debbie by any chance was she? She's vile!

Me too please, have five stone to lose - as much as possible before end May when we go to France for half term! Just found out my sibling has got type II diabetes, I'm definitely on the danger list for that. Fewer carbs, less crap and wine, more veg.

Underdogsbollocks · 31/12/2015 13:12

Atsea I would be interested to know what you think of the book, I was given an Amazon voucher for Christmas so I may put it to good use and buy that book.

cankleofglitter · 31/12/2015 13:23

Arkkorox I think they're trained to be patronising! I am motivated to do this on my own partly as a f*ck you to the diet industry!

CharleyDavidson · 31/12/2015 13:26

If I lose 31st then I will be below 11st which I've never been in my adult life.

I've joined the group and will post on here on Monday.

I'm back to work and routine Monday and I have my ww group that night too, so I will be weighing in on Mondays. I've agreed to be a c,eek at the meeting for a while. It means I don't have to pay to be a member and, more importantly, it means it should keep me going there even on not good weeks.

GabiSolis · 31/12/2015 13:29

I don't have FB. :( I'm going to stay here I think. Although I might set up a Facebook account for this as I think it would be helpful! V excited here too. My new WW stuff just arrived, along with the Deliciously Ella book.

Goingtobeawesome · 31/12/2015 13:30

I did the shred for a month. Lost nothing Confused.

EachPeachPearPlum83 · 31/12/2015 13:32

I've sent a request to the fb group too! Starting when I'm back work on Monday. I'm hoping with everyone here, I'll stay motivated. I tend to last about a month, lose around a stone then go back to old habits and put it all back on and more.

Curve · 31/12/2015 13:38

Can I join in too. I've got 5 stone to lose. 2015 was a horrible year and I gained 3 stone. Want to put it all behind me.

GabiSolis · 31/12/2015 13:39

Okay I've joined Facebook! I have no friends but I have asked to join the group!

notapizzaeater · 31/12/2015 13:40

I want yo join you too, I'm doing shakes as they work for me with a healthy tea. I've got approx 9stone to loose. :-(

Arkkorox · 31/12/2015 13:41

We are all going to be so good for each other I think Grin
