Thanks both! I'm so happy Smile

Yes Trying, soup for lunch and dinner, but I would have weetabix and chopped banana for breakfast. There would also be some sort of chocolate biscuit after lunch and dinner too, can't seem to be able to give it up!

That's hard core emz but well done! Absolutely amazing! :)
I'll try it my way this week or varied food but sticking to 1000 and then if it doesn't work will have to resort to ur soup diet!

Not2bObvious · 24/10/2015 14:23

Brilliant news emz, delighted for you Halloween Grin

IMustEatMoreVeg · 24/10/2015 14:38

Wowee Emz, great news and fantastic loss. Post a recipe for this amazing soup? We can all start a new craze for Emz's Super Slimming Soup Diet Grin
You might make your fortune!

Emz449 · 24/10/2015 14:49

Thank you Smile

Ha, the soup was just butternut squash, onion, carrot and sweet potato, boiled in chicken stock and then blended. To be honest I haven't got bored of it all as it's quite filling and really nice. Got enough for next week too in the freezer. It could be down to my own bloody mindedness though, I'm determined to not spend too much before my holiday and would also love to be in the 9's!

Hello! Can I join? I have been silent lurking for about two months, but had to join in the conversation to say well done Emz Grin I am doing MPF and up to week 7 of the couch to 5km. Thanks to you all I feel super motivated- 15lbs, down.

Emz449 · 24/10/2015 20:26

Ah thanks Lounging Smile and welcome! Sounds like you're doing great with MFP, over a stone down! How much would you like to lose?

On goal today so happy with that. I still feel quite cautious about my weight going back up randomly so I'm making sure that I'm going to stick to 1200 or under when I can.

It's going to be quite a trying November though, off to London next weekend to meet school friends and the weekend after that my sister and best friend are coming to stay. Going to be exhausted! I then have one weekend of doing nothing before a work night out the weekend after and then I'm on holiday! Really hoping that all the social events don't stall my weight loss. I would love so much to get into the 9's! Will have to be good choices all round and maybe some 900 calorie days to compensate for higher ones, eek!

Welcome lounging! Great weight loss-def join us! These girls r loosing so much weight it's making me feel ashamed of my slow loss :( it's def keeping me motivated!

Emz just have ur soup and minus the choc biccies and u will def be in 900!
I'm planning a 900 day tmrw, I must say 900 is hard is usually manage 950 if I'm v careful!

Loungingbutnotforlong · 24/10/2015 21:57

Currently at 10.8 1/2 and aiming to be 9.7 Although, having said that 10st used to feel slim for me- I was more toned though. Excited to be losing though- it's the first time in years that I have had the motivation and kept at it for more than a week!

SmillasSenseOfSnow · 25/10/2015 01:03

Congrats on the downward movement Emz! I've not been paying too much attention to this thread lately but I remember you seemed to be plateauing. Smile

Welcome Lounging!

We got invited round to dinner so ended up avoiding the dreaded Domino's! Had tomato soup and a sort of thai curry thing with rice, and a couple of pancakes for dessert. Probably fewer calories than half a large Domino's pizza (and whatever else we might have had with it!). Smile The small victories feel so good.

JontyDoggle37 · 25/10/2015 06:29

Morning all, gain of a 1lb here. Not unexpected after this week. Back on it today, even though we've got friends coming for dinner. In cooking them a diet dinner, but they won't know! Roast chicken with roasted vegetables for main, and chocolate brownie and ice cream for dessert, but the brownies are only 91 calories each and the ice cream is 'light' ice cream. Whole meal comes in at under 600 cals.

Not2bObvious · 25/10/2015 07:00

A stealth health meal Jonty by the sounds of it Grin The 1lb will be gone in a day or 2, no doubt. I had more than I planned yesterday, a lot more. Just felt v hungry. And I'm out tonight at my fav restaurant and I'm doing afternoon tea today, although that I can control a lot more as I'm making it myself. I'm going to need to earn some exercise cals to balance it all out - did nothing yesterday and the guilt! Even at this early stage though I'm not feeling it, totm came early and brought the tiredness and come to think of it, it's probably where the hunger came from too. How's everyone else doing? This hour back is confusing me, and the kids of course are up and bouncing around as usual

Emz449 · 25/10/2015 11:10

Stayed the same this morning, just happy it isn't going up!

Jonty what are these 91 calorie brownies you speak of?! Hope the dinner goes well

IMustEatMoreVeg · 25/10/2015 13:21

Sigh. Up another 0.5lb. Still not managed to do a poo so I think it is that. I feel like that advert where the woman is going round emptying food into a bag and just carrying it with her. I have taken some senna today though so hopefully that might get things moving. Also eaten a load of veggies for lunch.

Tryingno1 · 25/10/2015 16:57

Horrendous day eaten the whole cupboard and more! Back on it tmrw aiming for 900 for next 4 days st x

Emz449 · 25/10/2015 18:08

Sorry to hear that Imust, hope things get moving for you soon!

Trying, sometimes you need a day like that! Hope tomorrows better for you.

On plan day today but oh so very boring! I literally didn't leave the house, just felt exhausted, think it was a case of too much sleep!

Loungingbutnotforlong · 25/10/2015 20:14

1/2 lb down today but then spent the day at peppa pig world! Lots of fun for the kids but ate ice cream and chocolate (gah!) half term this week- I really need to be good and not undo all the work!

IMustEatMoreVeg · 25/10/2015 21:01

I have eaten quite a big dinner but I am not going to have the dessert that DH is trying to tempt me with. He can eat it all himself ! I have eaten my exercise calories back today so net I am within allowance but no room for Lemon torte.

JontyDoggle37 · 26/10/2015 06:16

Morning all. Flying visit. Back down to 10st 13.5, but no further downward movement, which is not a surprise. Need to do a re-set this morning and get fully back on track, which means going for a run. Unfortunately baby was up at 2am and again at 5.30 so it's the last thing I feel like doing but got to get out there. I'm not going to hit goal by end November now I think as I still have 13lbs to lose... Goal for October was 9lb loss and I've still only lost 5 with a week to go...might have to extend deadline to mid December. Have a good one all. If I get time later I'll post the recipe for the 91 calorie Brownies.

Not2bObvious · 26/10/2015 07:38

Morning all. 2 piggy days back to back, didn't even bother adding what I ate into mfp yesterday. Totm is destroying my resistance levels and I haven't managed any exercise over the weekend which isn't like me. Anyway, back to mfp today. Not sure about the UK but it's a long weekend where I am, so that's going to be the challenge not to overeat today. Had a good few drinks last night but not feeling too bad. The proof being I haven't demolished a half pan of bread yet lol! I'm thinking I might not weigh in until Friday, we'll see. How's everyone doing?

Bathsheba3 · 26/10/2015 07:50

Emz - 10 stone 9 is amazing!!! Huge congrats.

And well done to everyone else still persevering. Keep up the positive vibes!

I weighed-in today, and it was 12.0. Sad. So up 6 lbs since last time I weighted, 10+ days ago. Not surprised though, given the crap I have been munching my way through. Have been feeling glum. Very glum. Time to dust off and re-energise. Will see what I have lurking in the bottom of the fridge to make a veggie juice for breckie.

Emz449 · 26/10/2015 07:52

Morning all still 10st 9 today, don't really expect to see a loss until Saturday but will keep on checking anyway Grin

Hope everyone has a good day!

My scales haven't budged despite being 100% with my food. I feel good, not bloated. Hoping I just need a good poop after the amount of cocodamol I've taken for a prolapsed disc. Fingers crossed. Otherwise I'll just have to plough on and hope it eventually moves Sad

IMustEatMoreVeg · 26/10/2015 09:30

Good morning all. I feel a bit better now. The senna worked and I am 1 and 1/4lb lighter today. This isn't the lowest I have been - I was about 3/4lb lower last week but at least it is movement in the right direction. It is so disheartening when the scales actually go UP even though I have been within my allowance!

Not going to get any particular exercise done today as no time for a run but hopefully I might have time for a bit of a walk at lunchtime to increase my genreal step count.

Emz449 · 26/10/2015 15:27

Well my day with all my meals planned in would have only come to 650, but! My manager saved the day and bought me some cake. Honestly I swear she's trying to make me fat Grin
