I went for a early dinner. Had yoghurt and then soup for lunch. Lunch was a mixture of a small piece of salmon, a tiny bit of mackerel and a mini soup. I don't think I've had more than 1000 but it's hard to guesstimate weights and sizes. But I'm hungry right now!

Don't worry emz, u done so well u need the odd day to enjoy and 1400 is still gonna let u loose weight!

I'm struggling o guess wot I've had but even if I put in worst case for my dinner tonight it's 1100. Will weigh on sat as at my mums tonight and her scales r stupid! (By that I mean they make me weigh more!)

I had cake today. The end.

....but I still come in at 1036 cals for the day so pleased with that, plus I did half hour on the cross trainer and a body pump class.

I think it will be a gain tomorrow and I know I'll be gutted but I need to tell myself that my body is getting used to a new water intake routine (had over 3000ml today) and it's tom. I need a whoosh next week to keep me going. It's half term though so may be scuppered somewhat.

Gain here of 1 and 3/8lb after my lunch out yesterday! It wasn't that big a lunch but i had a little bit of bread plus a glass or two of wine so it soon adds up. Must have been salty too. Going to drink loads of water and hope it comes off again but I am going out for dinner tomorrow night and Sunday night too so perhaps I will have to wait for next week.

Not to worry girls. We have to live our life a bit too. Part of this dieting is a lifestyle change and we can't have an entire life of no treats and no wine. It's about enjoying it in moderation and being good after and before. Sure the scales will behave today. I'll weigh myself tmrw and hopefully back at 11! Need to mega behave today but I'm at my mums and she's forever making yum food!

No loss for me today but I had one small slice of bread yesterday and within an hour my stomach had bloated to the point I looked six months pregnant again. I need to just leave the bread alone, my body clearly can't cope. Hoping I might get a little loss tomorrow or Sunday. Have a special dinner planned for DH and I tonight - duck breast with noodles and plum sauce, which still comes in just under calorie quota for the day as I've had a spinach omelette for breakfast and will have a tuna wrap for lunch. Who minds dieting when food is this yummy?!

jonty I love duck...am very jealous!!
I have gained just under 2lb despite doing well with my calories all week, including one just over 900 and one just over 1000. I'm pissed off but I know it's the water and tom. Really need to keep on track today as tomorrow we're eating out and I'm having something nice!

I want to have dinner at Jonty's tonight!

Something about the act of just logging my food (however inaccurately lol) is making me lose weight I think, I'm definitely under 147 lbs, it's averaging 145 now. I've ordered a beach body set of (daily?) DVDs that should fit around running and I think they come with a diet plan, hope they show up today I just want to get started!

We're off to an Italian restaurant this lunch, pasta, pizza and grill seems to be the choice Hmm I might just enjoy it and make the most of a meal out! Including my exercise calories I have about 870 left for the day, I might be slightly over but nothing is happening this weekend so going to be 100% on plan.

Weight stayed this same this morning again Hmm

My horrendously expensive scales have got covered in water in the bathroom this morning and now they have stopped working!! I am gutted. Meant to weigh in officially today but can't Sad

Trying I totally agree with what you said about it being a lifestyle change. This is the only 'diet' I've followed for a long time and it just fits in to life so easily. It's just about making the right choices.

I have fish and vegetables for lunch, around 300 cals worth I think. Then dinner is working out at around 550.I'm trying to eat a lot of vegetables today - the fibre will not go amiss!

Urghhhhhhh. I feel really terrible. I want to go to bed and stay there for a few days but I have so much work to do. I am not going to eat my way through it though.

Agree that this is a lifestyle diet. It fits with anything - no worrying about eating out. Just count the calories and either move on or make cuts before or after. So simple.

Yeah I agree, sometimes you have to go with the flow, it was really worth it, I probably won't eat later on to be honest, full to the brim. The others had dessert but I said no, practically virtuous! Calories for the day work out at about 1500 which could have been worse

Hope you're ok Irishe and that yesterday wasn't too much of a struggle

I'm gonna be on 1500 today too if I just eat my small dinner planned but I'm already hungry!! Mfp has made me realise how fatty yummy foods are full of calories but they r so wasted as half an hr later ur hungry!

How many calories does everyone aim for each day? I'm down for 1500 but thinking of reducing it. I often come out around 1300ish anyway.

My target is 1820 but I'm rarely under 2000 gross, last 7 days were 2,300 Blush but I often guess or just put quick add a million calories lol. I do feel like the most disgusting greedy person on this thread :(
