If I come in under 1000 I just don't press the finished button. I would rather know what my calorie deficit is from fitbit.

psychotropic · 20/10/2015 09:41

Can't imagine eating under 1000 calories, compared to most of you I feel like an enormous greedy pig Sad yesterday was at least 2600. At least I know where I've been going wrong.

IMustEatMoreVeg · 20/10/2015 09:43

Psycho I have days like that when I eat 2000 or 3000 but I also have 1000 days. It balances out. I truly believe that is how thin people eat and it is becoming a habit in me too.

MajesticWhine · 20/10/2015 09:56

I can't remember a day where I was under 1000. I am still pretty hungry if I eat 1200 or 1300.

IMustEatMoreVeg · 20/10/2015 10:15

My bras are all gaping at the top of the cups. What is everyone doing about bras?
I really don't want to spend loads buying new underwear only for it to be too big again in a few months.

Emz449 · 20/10/2015 10:42

Imust to be honest I haven't been buying any! I bought a few half way through but I want to buy some really nice, well fitting ones when I reach my goal. They are getting quite loose now but hopefully after my holiday I'll go on an underwear shop!

Stayed the same this morning which is fine, my Tom is causing quite a bit of pain so I've had two cookies this morning Blush it means that I'll be into my exercise calories today but they were much needed!

Congrats on your loss too Jonty!

MrsDLH · 20/10/2015 10:55

I'm just wearing the same ones for now. The back size is too big but the cup size is probably ok. Once they stop being supportive, I'll get fitted for a couple of new ones to wash and wear until I settle on a size!

Not2bObvious · 20/10/2015 11:05

Well done on your loss Jonty, you Monday/Tuesday is a bit like my Thursday/Friday - takes me all week to lose my weekend weight. I have to say I think you're doing amazing and if you keep going this way, you'll hit your goal. One day at a time, adjust as you need I guess?
12.6.4 this morning, yesterday was 12.7.2 - bit bunged up too which I think is lack of water. Have to work on my hydration going forward. Day 3 of clean'ish eating, and I'm going veggie today. Yog, Apple and 20gr of peanut butter for breakfast. Planning soup for lunch, not sure whether I'll have bread. Might have the soup, give myself a couple of mins to see if I still want the bread rather that eat it along the way unthinkingly. Veg omelette with 2-3 eggs tonight, maybe some cheese in there. That's the plan. Fingers x'ed I'm back to 12.3.6 by Saturday which was preholiday weight. Did a class this morning and felt distinctly quesy, even with running on hols hiit kills me after any type of break and I was 2 weeks with no gym. Despite shag all sleep, I feel pretty good. Exercise endorphins I guess!

MajesticWhine · 20/10/2015 11:09

I think my bras all fit me fine. I have lost 8lbs in 2 months - I am not sure how much I would need to lose to actually change bra size. My waist size has changed a little bit because I need to tighten my belt another notch than I used to.

Tryingno1 · 20/10/2015 11:35

I weighed myself today
Phew am 11.1.8 so that's a 1.8 gain when away. Must have been water! Thank goodness
Aim is to get back to 11 on Friday then hit the tens the week after!s
Re the less than 1000 it's hard but I see results quick and it means I can have 1/2 pig out days in the week. I can't do 900 for more than 4 days! Plus it's prob not v good for u!
Planning on 900 until Friday then 1100 daily with no binges!

Not2bObvious · 20/10/2015 12:13

Only 1.8 is really good trying, I'm waiting til I'm back closer to a week to determine my gain, definitely think it takes a few days to get the body back to normal.
Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it Blush On the smaller underwear I can't comment but little picker wears big knickers and tight bra's

Not2bObvious · 20/10/2015 12:14

this little picker I meant!

IMustEatMoreVeg · 20/10/2015 12:30

Gapey bras it is then! For a while, anyway. I might buy a couple when I get into the 10s just to do me for a while. I need to have a big clothes trying on session to sort out what I can still wear and what is just too big now. Everything that is too big is going to charity. Not keeping it in case I get bigger again because there is no way I am doing that. Fortunately I have quite a few bits of smaller sizes that I kept since last time I was this slim so I am not totally without clothes at the moment.

I just had an excellent lunch on the go. Marks and Spencer do packs of 'Salad Bites' in teriyaki beef and Vietnamese pork style. The packs are less than 200cal each and completely delicious. I had a pack of each. Will defo be buying again.

Not2bObvious · 20/10/2015 12:56

Ooh I love them salad bites imust but they are shockingly expensive here, would be close to €11 (£8'ish?) and that's wayyy to rich for my blood Grin

stealtheatingtunnocks · 20/10/2015 14:34

Nice to hear you're all getting on fine. I'm doing MFP, but, not quite managing to keep the kcal down. Been drinking wine to dampen the ankle agony...

works, too.

However, I have not eaten all the cakes my daughter baked, am watching my portions and logging everything (including the wine), so, that's ok.

I think what was said upthread about thin people eating more and then eating less to compensate is really important. Whereas I tend to eat more and then think "well, might as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb" and finish the packet. And then the cupboard. And then go to the supermarket...

Hey ho.

Got a big pot of soup bubbling away for tea. Bread in the bread maker. Job done. x

Tryingno1 · 20/10/2015 18:32

I want chocolate!!!!!!!
Having an options hot choc I hope that sorts me!!! But really I want a huge bar of dairy milk!

Tryingno1 · 20/10/2015 18:53

Oh very good substitute! Feeling satisfied.

Emz449 · 20/10/2015 18:57

haha i do like the hot chocolate Trying it is a good substitute, especially like it in the mornings when it's cold as i don't like hot drinks such as tea and coffee, warms me up nicely!

Good day for me other than the two cookies earlier but all within calories and they were amazing, well worth it!

Tryingno1 · 20/10/2015 19:08

Well done emz! Ur on a roll
I'm on 980 and satisfied. Was hoping for 900 but don't think 80 is gonna do any harm!
Will aim for same tmrw

MrsDLH · 20/10/2015 19:58

I clocked in at 943 cals today so not too far off my 900 target. Will do a 1200 or near enough tomorrow then another 900 or so one on Thursday. Doing davina intense tomorrow night and cardio and body pump on Thursday so I hope it pays and I see a loss this week!

Dh is having a piece of homemade golden syrup cake in a bit so im staying in the bath until the evidence is gone Envy

Tryingno1 · 20/10/2015 20:00

ohhhhh that sounds immense re the cake...im really craving something yummy tonight. but gonna stay strong with u guys
have a good bath!

irishe · 20/10/2015 20:34

Evening all
No weight loss for me today. Not expecting any for 2 weeks, when I will be looking for another whoosh!

bath your trip to Dublin sounds great. I have not been for years despite my nickname!
trying a 1.8 gain is great for a holiday. That is really nothing.
imust I had to buy bras after 2 stone loss, boobs totally changed shape, went down 2 back sizes, can't remember re the cup sizes. Despite almost another stone gone, they still fit well. I don't want to have to buy any for a while, they are so expensive.
not2 your meal planning sounds great. I am sure you are on your way to pre holiday weight.
stealth I agree with you. People who are a healthy weight self regulate their calorie consumption. This is something over weight people rarely do or not effectively. A good life skill to develop think.
mrsdlh you are doing great with your calorie intake. Not to mention, avoiding the golden syrup cake!
emz those cookies sounded damn fine.

Well I am finishing the day on 1079. Just had my dinner veg thai red curry and steamed tenderstem broccoli with green beans. Very yummy and I am full.

Emz449 · 20/10/2015 20:37

I think I might aim for a 900 day tomorrow, just to give it a go. I'm really enjoying having soup for my meals, it's still satisfying and it's yummy too.

Sure by the weekend though i'll be craving some sort of solid food! I'm thinking of making a sausage and sweet potato bake type thing, with passata, spinach, onions maybe some pepper too, blood love sweet potato at the moment. Oh i also really want to do the meatballs with courgetti, have seen some lovely pictures of it on instagram! I might just do a load of batch cooking at the weekend and have a lot of freezer meals ready to go as and when

Ladies, Asda online do very cheap bras which are serviceable enough during weight loss. I got all my maternity bras from there at £6 each - super comfy and they washed really well.
