emz almost a 4 stone loss, how fantastic. I have lost 2 stone 11lbs to date, and am looking forward to clearing 3 stone soon. My BMI is 35 at the moment. Amazing to think one day my BMI could be 25. Like you!

Love the success stories on this thread

Tryingno1 · 17/10/2015 18:19

Coming in at 1030 today not too bad I suppose?!

Emz449 · 17/10/2015 20:32

That's good Trying!

Very tired this evening, isn't it funny how just doing nothing can make you feel sleepy! I suppose those with children don't get the opportunity to do nothing often! Think it'll be bed after casualty for me, can't wait! Good day calorie wise Smile but nervous about tomorrow morning in case the scales go up. Hoping for the best

Hope everyone has had a good day

Good result trying. Are you pleased with your post holiday weigh in?

I have had quite a sluggish day as well emz, made it out of the house once, only because DC desperately needed new shoes. And I feel totally knackered! Sometimes I find doing less, makes me more tired.

Reminds me of that saying, "if you want something done quickly, ask a busy person". I think it's the adrenaline produced by the urgency of lots of tasks needing attention, that keeps me going. When nothing much is happening, I grind to a total stop!

JontyDoggle37 · 18/10/2015 06:49

Morning all.
No loss here, and body still feels cloggy. To the extent that I expected a gain when I got on the scales today. I really wanted to have lost another pound by tomorrow but unless there's a sudden woosh I don't think it's going to happen.
Emz great to hear you've finally beaten that barrier, seems like getting past 11 is a hard one!

Tryingno1 · 18/10/2015 08:14

Oh dear :(
I'm a bit ashamed to post my weight ;(
Not sure how but in 8 days I've put on 4 pounds!!! I am on my period and maybe some of it is water?
Anyways has set me up for the worst mood this am.
No food for me this week!

IMustEatMoreVeg · 18/10/2015 08:25

Trying - I'm sure lots of it is water as it sounds like you had a fairly carby few days? Not that anyone would expect otherwise in Italy - it would be rude not to!!

Just draw a line under the holiday, put it down to a lovely lovely time and get on with your good eating. And loads of water to flush yourself.

Jonty are you bunged up? I have fairly major problems in that area myself. A bit of senna helps occasionally.

I have lost another pound overnight! Now 11st 5 and 1/8 to be exact. I think I am having the opposite of a stall. Perhaps I am losing any water weight I was holding because of saltier than normal restaurant food from holiday. I bet I am going to have a massive plateau next week and I'll be really fed up!

Tryingno1 · 18/10/2015 08:30

Thanks I must. I swear I look at food and gain! I was good the first half of the trip but then it went downhill and huge portions of carbs were consumed. I really really hope I loose it this week (if that's possible) it's so annoying though

Well done for ur loss that's great! Keep going, hopefully ur in the swing of it!

I might ocd style come into this thread to remind myself to keep to calories and stop being a piglet (there's no photo of a pig but no more WineCake for me!!!)

Not2bObvious · 18/10/2015 09:36

Trying was that your first weigh in post holiday? I'm back home now and toying with the idea of holding off weighing for 7 days, kinda of like a holiday baby weight thing - 7 days on/7 days off idea. I think to have a chance of neutralising what I ate/drank in the last week I'll have to be super strict but I do have cravings for today - you know the post holiday pig out where you eat all the nice stuff that you can only get at home...ok that truthfully means all the tasty unhealthy takeaway stuff you can only get at home. Greedy lump I am!
4lb is just a blip, few days it'll be gone - but I have a theory on weight that you see what you ate on the scales 2-3 weeks later. I don't think the body is that fast in turning excess cals into excess pounds. So taking my theory into play, I'll be 7 pound heavier today, that's carb/wine bloat, I'll drop most of that in a week - then in 2 weeks I'll shoot 3 pound up, or plateau if I manage to drop weight. We shall see...still eyeing the scales up from the bed, it looks vengeful

Tryingno1 · 18/10/2015 09:38

Not2 yep it was my post holiday weigh in!
I was this weight when I started the thread after a ten day - I don't feel like dieting anymore and have lost 9 pounds yay! And within 5 days it was al off but I had to stick religiously to 900 cals. Gonna be a hard slog!
Are u waiting to weigh in then? I really can't have any more excuses or lack of weight loss for the next month!

Emz449 · 18/10/2015 09:48

trying when did you land? Flying causes a lot of water retention, so that in combination of TOM could be to blame. I'm sure it'll be off in no time.

OP posts:
Tryingno1 · 18/10/2015 09:49

On Friday Angry
It's ok I'm back on it BIG STYLE
Sometimes a set back focus me more

Thanks guys x

irishe · 18/10/2015 10:58

Sorry trying I think I misread your landing time as your weigh in Blush

I agree it should go quickly once you get back on the wagon. Shame it is TOM, as that really skews the scales.

Congrats imust you are dropping like a stone!

not2 I love the image of you lying in bed eyeing up the vengeful scales. I think, whether I would weigh in would depend on how I react to the scales. If bad news, would motivate you back on the diet, jump on! If it would cause you to be down in the dumps and keep up the munchies, then maybe hold off?

You will know best!

Not2bObvious · 18/10/2015 11:07

Ok I faced up or should I say stepped up. I was 12.3.6 on the 10th of October. Now I'm 12.10.2, pretty spectacular eh? 6.6 pounds on. Now I've faced it I'll weight in daily. As I was braving the scales DH made me hot buttered toast with poached egg - to refuse would be rudeGrin Anyway my plan for the week is to eat clean, plenty of water, lots of exercise and keep my chin chins up. It's definitely a marathon not a race for me. My goal is 11.7 for Xmas. That would be the best gift and only I can give it to myself. Now I'm going to have another cuppa and a browse on YouTube, far to early to do anything else Wink

irishe · 18/10/2015 11:12

Not2 It's good now you know. You can concentrate on healthy eating this week. Enjoy your poached egg and toast, sounds yum.

Tryingno1 · 18/10/2015 11:15

Not2 well done for getting on. Both us should be in the post holiday naughty corner. For me seeing the gain has made me really focus. I've just made myself a kilo of soup!!!!

JontyDoggle37 · 18/10/2015 11:30

Here's my thought for the day: "What you don't know, you can't change". Which is why it's so important to get in the scales, know where you're at and what you need to do to change it Grin

NoahVale · 18/10/2015 11:38

morning.
logging on the mfp
it seems mostly my fall down is the sugar.
i do like my tea and coffee,
i think i may have lost a pound in a few months. not good.
i have a pedometer and was nearly at 10,000 steps, which i believe is the optimum amount.

NoahVale · 18/10/2015 11:39

good news is I barely touch crisps, or bread/toast or cheese,
so that must be good surely?

Tryingno1 · 18/10/2015 12:01

Emz have u told ur boyf of ur amazing loss?

Emz449 · 18/10/2015 12:06

Well done for braving the scales Not2! The weight will drop in no time.

I haven't Trying! I've lost I think half a stone since I saw him? Im not planning on telling him either, he better bloody notice Grin

When I weighed this morning it bounced to 10'11 but settled on 10'12 exactly, hopefully will go down a bit this week.

I've made enough soup to feed an army this morning. Will post a picture shortly so you can see. I can't remember who mentioned the freezer bags to pop some soup in to freeze but that's such a good idea! I'm not sure I'm going to have enough Tupperware for it all

OP posts:
Emz449 · 18/10/2015 12:07

I was thinking about my end of month goal and I would love to be about 10'9. It's only 3lbs but I think if I aim lower I won't be disappointed if I have another plateau

OP posts:
Tryingno1 · 18/10/2015 12:16

Ur doing really well emz and giving me motivation! We are similarish weight (well I was before I went away!) I'm hoping to loose it all this week and end of month be 10 13.

Emz449 · 18/10/2015 12:21

Anyone for soup?
