I started at 12 st 13, now 11st 3

Lost the 24lbs between January and May...started again a few weeks ago and got back to where I left off!

I'm aiming for 9 something and then will see how I look and feel, then decide if I want to lose more. It's been about 20 years since I was 9 something so don't know how I'll look, what size etc so exciting!

BeaBoo · 16/10/2015 20:15

Fabulous losses. Thank you everyone for indulging me Grin

irishe · 16/10/2015 20:40

I started at 19 13 in jan and am now 17 2. Aiming for 16 13 by end oct, which will give me 3 stone loss.

Longer term I am aiming for 13 stone, at 5 10 that puts me in size 14 clothes, which honestly feels slim to me!

IMustEatMoreVeg · 16/10/2015 21:05

Started at 13st 8. Now at 11st 7. Aiming for 11st then see how I feel.

JontyDoggle37 · 16/10/2015 21:13

Started at 13st 8, lost first 11 pounds giving birth! Started MFP at 12st 11 in June, now 11st 1. I'm 5'9" and aiming for 10st as my goal.(which I was on 9 August 2014 when I got married!)

IMustEatMoreVeg · 17/10/2015 07:48

Jonty I am the same height as you. I have never been 10st. Are you very slim when you are 10st? I would love to aim for 10st but it seems so amazingly out of reach!

I am 3/4lb down again this morning.

Tryingno1 · 17/10/2015 08:03

Well done I must ur on a roll
I restart today! Gonna aim for 950!
Will weigh tmrw

JontyDoggle37 · 17/10/2015 08:15

IMust at 10 stone I feel just right. Not too skinny, just slim with a mostly flat stomach (always have to do some more toning at that point but no more weight loss is needed). That puts me in size 10 clothes and I get regular comments on how good I look. My body feels happy as well.

JontyDoggle37 · 17/10/2015 08:17

By the way, no loss today. Body feels very blocked up. Rest of the bread has been thrown out, evil stuff! (Why do I never learn!)

Not2bObvious · 17/10/2015 08:33

Hi all, just marking place for when I'm back on the mfp'wagon tomorrow. Last day of holiday and my body feels in need of detox! I've ran 4 times this week and also walked every day, steps have been never less than 10,000 and over 20,000 a couple of times. Lying here thinking about going for a last run but it's been raining overnight and I don't want to risk a fall on slippy tiles. I haven't been very well behaved, Imust I'm astounded at you losing 3lb on holidays - amazingly well done. Not filled with excitement at the thoughts of the scales but I'll do it anyway. Drank wayyyyy too much over the week and had plenty of crisps to mop up the vino. Anyway, I'll be home tomorrow and back to food I can plan easily. Welcome to the new folk. I'm not a success story yet but I hope to be! I read the article someone posted earlier this week? The 5 myths? I think that's my problem, I'm taking in more than I think. Anyway clean eating and no drinking for the next week. I craving abstinence Grin Hope everyone has nice plans for the weekend?

Not2bObvious · 17/10/2015 08:34

Sorry, not myths - tips, going to re-read now

Tryingno1 · 17/10/2015 09:52

It's actually quite good to be healthy again!
Just having my kale smoothie!

IMustEatMoreVeg · 17/10/2015 10:01

Trying - go for it!

Not2 - yes to post holiday abstinence!

Bathsheba3 · 17/10/2015 10:16

Congrats on the loss Mrs D!

I can't believe how quickly the thread moves. Just shows what a nice bunch we are Smile.

Emz449 · 17/10/2015 10:44

Morning all,
No loss for me today but wasn't expecting it. Just want to keep this weeks losses off over the weekend so I can log it on monday my official weigh in day. Otherwise it won't count!

So welcome back trying from your holiday. Had to laugh at the kale smoothie, that really is post holiday food!

not2 good to hear from you, you will be back in the mfp fold soon, enjoy your last day of holiday.

Last night, whilst reading the threads about overall losses I idly considered adding up the total weight loss on this thread, but a) I couldn't find a calculator and b) I fell asleep. But it was a lot of weight!

Massive back slaps all round!

irishe · 17/10/2015 10:52

emz wow! I am so so pleased for you, you kept the faith when weaker mortals would have crumbled. You deserve this, well done. I am sure you are ecstatic. Enjoy the 10's!

Tryingno1 · 17/10/2015 11:18

Yay well done emz! U kept going good work ;)
I can't wait to make the tens!!! I'm hoping by end of month! We should make a list of our weights, loss so far and also goals and when by!

Emz449 · 17/10/2015 11:20

Thanks Irishe can't quite believe it Really! I'lldefinitely feel a bit more comfortable when I'm below 10'10 just so I know the 11's are well and truly gone Smile

Super news Emz!!! Well and truly broke the 11's. Thx for the welcome back Irishe, I'm looking forward to getting back into it. Feel rejouvenated (sp??) and rearing to go. Taking my iron supplement for the last 10 days seem to have lifted my exhaustion and also my low feeling a bit - someone, can't think who, mentioned they felt a bit low. I looking into low iron and apathy/lowness can be a side affect. I was terrified of getting constipated as I already suffer with sluggishness so I starting eating a full fat activia every day and that's been really good. Our flight isn't till close to 8pm so there'll be a lot of hanging around. Dying to get home now, I miss my own bed!

stealtheatingtunnocks · 17/10/2015 11:38

Can I join your gang?

Always been fat.

Am from stock with a long history of heart disease. I had gestational diabetes when pregnant. I am prone to depression, which responds really well to exercise. I know lots and lots about healthy eating and healthy lifestyle...but, my natural environment is sitting in front of the tv, knitting and drinking wine. There are no excuses, I just eat too much and do too little. I use food to deal with emotions, all of them.

I lost a stone with MFP over the last 4 months. Then I went away with work, one of our kids got sick, my marriage hit a rumble strip (nothing serious, really, DH has aspergers and that is somewhat exasperating to live with) and I ate myself through it.

Am now back up to where I started. Gaining a stone in a month is quite an achievement, I think.

Anyway, time to get sorted again.

So, if you'll accept a 13.13 and a half, 5'4" slightly grumpy woman into your gang, I'd be very pleased.

Promise to log daily, exercise at least half an hour daily, do the hypnosis thingy and not inhale eat all the tunnocks. Well, not daily.

Emz449 · 17/10/2015 11:59

Stealth welcome to the group! Sounds like you've had it pretty tough going recently, I hope you find this group supportive, I definitely do Smile

stealth welcome to the mfp gang!

I am finding this a great thread. You will sometimes find grumpiness here, mostly when we are not losing! You will also get lots of support from others who know how hard this weight loss business is.

not2 I am anaemic at the moment (had tests done at gp) and am taking liquid iron daily. I can confirm that it causes fatigue/listlessness. I too was worried about constipation but have been taking fibre supplements to offset this called fybogel which have worked well. Fybogel can be bought in chemist.

BeaBoo · 17/10/2015 14:28

Well done Emz!!!
