Have recently let half a stone creep on (reckon due to the pill) and want to lose it over the next 6 weeks!
No drastic diet plan as such as want to keep it off! Anyone want to join me in my six week journey???Grin

Joycey29 · 28/04/2015 21:22

Have decided to post my food in the evening in an effort to prevent grazing Smile

Breakfast - atkins bar
Lunch - tuna mayo sandwich, popcorn
Dinner - tuna salad, muller light, banana, large glass red wine
Water, tea, coffee, coke zero, coconut water

About to have supper of popcorn and decaf tea. Then I'm done.

readyforsunshine · 28/04/2015 23:11

My 'lunch' was picking at work, rasps, roasted new pots, fennel gratin?!?
Came home to wine, leftover salmon pate & soda bread, meatballs, pasta & salad. Did manage a teeny tiny run this morning though, finally some EXERCISE !!

Penguinotterfoxbadger · 29/04/2015 06:53

Well done ready!

Joycey - is kettlersize a class or something you do at home?

It's my "office lunch" today. Sit down meal at about 4 followed by drinks.. There's no way it is going to be healthy or alcohol free but I don't want a repeat of Saturday (or Sunday's hangover!).

  • No alcohol until my meal is in front of me
  • eat a substantial meal (in the hope that it staves off drunken binging later)
  • match alcoholic drinks with water
  • if I'm hungry again when I get home I'll have porridge & banana & drink lots of water or sf pop
Joycey29 · 29/04/2015 06:55

Great work, exercise is great for allowing us the odd hiccup !

I m off on school residential! Three cooked meals a day and the pressure of being a role model for young girls who we want to eat well!

Lost an inch off of hips and tummy and added one to my thighs! Weird!

Kettlercise is a class.
One hour of cardio and kettle bell moves that covers everything in one go! Killer but perfect for a working mum !

Good plan penguin. I'm feeling a little hungover again, I just can't drink anymore. Am annoyed as it will make today tough. Forgot to say I've signed up for a yoga course & got talked into having a fitness assessment which I hope will give me a kick up the arse!
Good luck on the residential joycey, hope it's fun?!? & really well done on the inch loss

SpottyTeacakes · 29/04/2015 09:24

I'm so hungry and it's only 9:30!!

Penguinotterfoxbadger · 29/04/2015 11:03

Spotty - I'm starving too! Had a pro max protein bar for breakfast.. It looked to have pretty much the same nutritional values as my usual atkins bar but it only filled me up for 2 hours (atkins keeps me going for 4 hours plus). There is a jar of jammy dodgers directly in my eye line but have resisted so far!

SpottyTeacakes · 29/04/2015 11:07

Luckily we don't have much in the house. The weather is miserable and I fancy a stodgy lunch! I think it's going to be cheese toasties and hula hoops. Not exactly healthy but still avoiding snacking.

I haven't had a jammy dodger for years mmmm

readyforsunshine · 29/04/2015 13:47

Did the short run again then scoffed 2 poached eggs & 4 pieces of white toastShock
Had lots of water & a v virtuous smoothie w chia seeds but feel like joining spotty in a cheese toastieGrin

SpottyTeacakes · 29/04/2015 13:52

I went for beans on toast in the end BlushGrin

bangersmashandbeans · 29/04/2015 14:52

I've just been out for lunch with some friends - chicken wrap and chips, glass of wine, shared the best brownie and ice cream I've ever tasted! Very naughty but I had such a lovely time!!

Twinklestar2 · 29/04/2015 18:24

I forgot to post my menu yesterday!

Shredded wheat and skimmed for breakfast, coffee from my coffee machine
Lunch was bacon medallions and an egg in toast and a ham sandwich
Dinner was beef stew and a GU cheesecake for dessert Grin
Snacked on bag of quavers, cereal bar

I had a hungry snacky day yesterday for some reason!

SpottyTeacakes · 29/04/2015 18:29

Greek yog blueberries and honey
Beans on toast with cheese
Sausages mash veg one Yorkshire and gravy.

No snacks.

Two coffees. Water.

bangersmashandbeans · 29/04/2015 21:57

Fallen off the wagon....heeellllp!!
Sad

Twinklestar2 · 29/04/2015 22:50

Well done spotty, great menu.

Bangers just get back on tomorrow!

I've used most of my ww weekly points so need a good few days!

Menu
Egg in toast, cereal bar, coffee from my coffee machine
Was out at a function at lunch and had 2 small bits of panini with butternut squash and a tiny bit of cheese and rocket, 2 biscuits with coffee
Came home and had a bowl of homemade soup - bit of chicken, rice and veg in stock
Dinner was pizza made on tortilla bases with a handful of homemade wedges.

I also baked a cake and had a slice Wink

readyforsunshine · 30/04/2015 06:44

I totally wrote off yesterday bangers. I could have followed on from giant bfast & smoothie & salvaged things with some delicious veg soup & yoghurt but instead had cheese & salad cream & lettuce white bread sandwich followed by peanut butter & jam one. Total of SEVEN slices of plastic bread!!
Finished the day with a Chinese takeaway. All caused by 3 glasses of wine, so unfair. Harrumph!
What caused your derail bangers? Back to it today...

SpottyTeacakes · 30/04/2015 06:49

I'm going to Disneyland for the weekend tomorrow so will be absent and no doubt eating crap. I'm going to try and stick to the no snacking though. Really don't want to be back to square one.

bangersmashandbeans · 30/04/2015 06:55

Have a great time spotty!

My derail was caused by lunch out for my best friends birthday and not seen her in ages. Then my husband bought loads of chocolate...

Two hours in the gym this morning so will start the day well and hopefully continue that way!

Penguinotterfoxbadger · 30/04/2015 12:47

Have fun spotty!

My menu for yesterday
Breakfast - pro max bar
Lunch - veg pot
Dinner - melon & mango starter, salmon & veg in creamy sauce, wine, lots of water
Far too many cocktails
Porridge & banana
Extra porridge
A few pieces of cold stuffing..

Did quite well with the water, at least at the beginning of the night. It all got a bit messy later on.

readyforsunshine · 30/04/2015 12:53

Sounds like you pretty much stuck to your plan penguin, well done!
Have fun spotty, if you put on over the w/e it'll quickly come back off.
I haven't eaten yet today, only just getting hungry now. Think I'll make a giant salad, no plans for tonight, off to see what I've got.

FarOverTheRainbow · 30/04/2015 17:43

Can I join? Over the last year my weight has slowly crept up a stone and because I'm so short it's really noticeable. Whenever I think of the word DIET I don't last a week Blush so I'm going to make changes, choose better foods and exercise more now I don't do anything but run around after a 2 year old

I actually like fruit and veg but struggle with the sugar cravings and going without cake, especially as me and DD bake a lot and the smell is just impossible to resist.

So tomorrow I'm going to make more effort with food choices and finish the last bit of chocolate I have tonight

SpottyTeacakes · 30/04/2015 17:49

Today:

Greek yog and honey
One slice cheese on toast and packet of hula hoops Blush
Two wraps with salad and total of four chicken goujons in

Three cups of coffee
No water Shock

.....wanders off to get a drink Blush
