I keep seeing before and after shots after his 90 day programme and they are fantastic...anyone done it and what basically is it in a nutshell?

Gotred - how did you find C2? I'm nervous about all the negativity I've been reading.

gotredonyou · 30/07/2015 10:13

Hi kirinm I loved the food part of C2 as I love cooking so really enjoyed creating new recipes with the pick n mix concept. All the carbs did make me feel bloated after feeling lean at the end of C1 but from my pics there is a difference in muscle tone/fat loss even though I didn't feel any different.
The exercise in C2 I didn't enjoy as much as i'm a weakling Grin So started with low weights and didn't feel like I was earning all the carbs! However by the end I was happy with how my strength/fitness had improved so quickly.
I'm now reluctant to start C3 as back to only carb meals after training & apparently the exercise is really really hard!!

BlingBubbles · 30/07/2015 18:12

Thanks ladies! I was happy with the results, I did start 2 months after having my baby so lost all my baby weight. Now I would like to lose some more inches and get more toned.

I wasn't a fan on the weights either but I know they are very important to burn fat!

Hi everyone, I keep looking at this, driving myself a bit mad to be honest with indecision! Can I ask a couple of questions?
Do the portions keep hunger at bay (obviously I expect to be hungry before meals but not to the point where I feel really deprived all the time)?
I know you can pay for one cycle at a time. Could you pay for cycle 1 and then stop if it wasn't working out?
Has anyone combined the diet with their own HIIT workouts? I do T25/run 5 times a week. I tried one of his YouTube videos and I prefer t25.
Is anyone doing it alongside a partner who isn't? How do you manage that?
Finally, as I am going on hol at the end of the month I prob wouldn't get my plan thru in time so has anyone tried just doing his recipes etc from Facebook with any success?
Thank you in advance.

To answer some of your questions

Do the portions keep hunger at bay (obviously I expect to be hungry before meals but not to the point where I feel really deprived all the time)?
-YES! you eat loads, to the point that some people struggle with the amount of food. 3 meals a day plus 2 snacks. You wont feel at all like you are on a diet and will probably question how you can loose weight and tone up eating all the time.

I know you can pay for one cycle at a time. Could you pay for cycle 1 and then stop if it wasn't working out?
-No you have to pay regardless, the money comes out your account each month regardless if you continue or not.

Has anyone combined the diet with their own HIIT workouts? I do T25/run 5 times a week. I tried one of his YouTube videos and I prefer t25.
-You can do your own exercise, you would need to state this in your questionaire so that you macros can be calculated according to your exercise. you dont have to do the youtube HIIT, you can do any HIIT you want, I did treadmill sprints, some people do crossfit, some do different classes etc, you can decide. C1 you only do HIIT 4-5 times a week, C2 and C3 its HIIT alongside weight training.

Is anyone doing it alongside a partner who isn't? How do you manage that?
-My DH didnt do the plan but ate exactly what I did, I sometimes added in carbs into his food but normally it was just the same, he is also very active and really liked the food - in fact people noticed a difference in his body shape before they noticed mine!

Finally, as I am going on hol at the end of the month I prob wouldn't get my plan thru in time so has anyone tried just doing his recipes etc from Facebook with any success?
-The recipes on IG and facebook are nothing like the recipes in the plan, if you are going on holiday at the end of month i would suggest waiting till you come back to start. The plan takes about 10 days to come through and you can then start whenever you want, there is no time frame on it.

GallopingFoxley · 01/08/2015 14:18

My criticism so far would be that the plan takes SO long to arrive! They're super quick to take the money however! I've been waiting 9 days now which I know is within the stated time scales but it just seems like such a long time

Cecyhall · 01/08/2015 14:59

Sorry if this has been answered already but what kind of weights do you need for c2? Would you need a gym or could you use home weights, in which case would you need many different weights and how heavy do you go up to?

Sarahlouboo · 01/08/2015 15:27

Bling bubbles, thank you so much for taking the time to answer all my questions! I will do as you suggest and wait till I get back from hols. Grin

BlingBubbles · 01/08/2015 18:19

Cecyhall, I did all my exercises at home, you will need Dumbbells for c2 &3. Depending on how heavy you lift will depend on the sizes of weights, I never got higher than 7kgs in each hand - super weak ????

kirinm · 02/08/2015 15:27

C1D1 today. Went to bed last night with a splitting headache and woke up with the same headache so I've had to make today a rest day (currently squinting to try and stop the pain behind my left eye).

So far today I've cooked Italian beef and sausage casserole. We had eggs, spinach and feta for breakfast. I've made some tuna pate for snack at work and fishcakes for lunch. DP is currently whipping up the lime and avo smoothie for our late lunch.

There is quite a bit of cooking. I think I'll concentrate on prepping lunches at the weekend.

GallopingFoxley · 02/08/2015 16:35

I'm starting tomorrow and have done no prep bar buying an absolute ton of food ! I am off work tomorrow so will have time to make it as I go along. I'm planning a morning HIIT session and then a mushroom and feta omelette, orange and beetroot Quorn salad for lunch and Cajun tofu for dinner with veg .

kirinm · 03/08/2015 09:05

I had a smoothie for breakfast and I am ridiculously full. I rarely eat breakfast and I can see it's going to be the toughest part of it for me. That and prepping.

gotredonyou · 03/08/2015 09:16

Morning all, I start C3 today eek !
GallopingFoxley You will need a refuel meal (with carbs) after your morning HIIT session, not a low carb meal x

GallopingFoxley · 03/08/2015 13:03

Yes I've read it all properly now Grin

So I did a HIIT session this morning and followed this with a build up bagel which completely stuffed me. I've had a snack of raw nuts and just had the green smoothie for lunch.

GallopingFoxley · 03/08/2015 13:03

I've prepped three portions of the reduced carb oatmeal so I can eat that over the next few days

Howhardcanitbe · 03/08/2015 17:58

I've just signed up and completed my questionnaire! My before pictures are hideous and my 7-day food diary was very revealing..!

I've stated in the questionnaire that I'll continue with my own exercise plan although on days when I don't go to a class I might try their HIIT. Hoping I'll still get good results as it's largely diet that's the problem with me, and I'm going to add a weights class to my usual regime too.

I'll be watching this thread with interest whilst I wait for my plan to arrive.

kirinm · 04/08/2015 09:36

Starting to feel very positive about the plan. Day 3. I'm definitely doing a bit more prep next weekend.

Someone on Facebook suggested freezing omelettes for breakfast. I think I'm going to try that.

GallopingFoxley · 05/08/2015 09:14

Day 3 for me too and so far so good. I had the lime and avocado smoothie for breakfast which was really nice. I've done 2 HIIT sessions so far and will do a third today. Going to do 4 a week I think and see how that pans out

gotredonyou · 05/08/2015 09:18

Hope you are all getting on ok! I did my first workout of C3 last night and my arms are like jelly today! x

kirinm · 05/08/2015 11:29

I keep reading about how people are struggling to eat all the food on Cycle 1. I've had my calories reduced by 20% although don't totally understand why, but beyond the first smoothie where I was full for ages, I'm not struggling with the portions at all. Not sure what that says about me?!

gotredonyou · 05/08/2015 13:25

Yeah I had no problem eating all the food on C1...I think the people struggling are the ones who have been on really low calorie diets right before starting the plan so they don't understand how you can eat more but still lose fat.

snowydrops · 05/08/2015 22:08

I've signed up for this, just waiting for my plan to come through but already following his beginners HIIT workout on YouTube and menus (no carb) pre work out and with carbs post work out. So far seems good except that I had DD2 only 4.5 months ago by C-sec so have limited (no!) core strength. Anyone any experience of this post baby?? I haven't done the burpees / press ups as I know my tummy isn't healed enough so swapped for something else but anyone have this problem at all? I've mentioned it on my form so I guess will have to see what the body coach thinks!

kirinm · 06/08/2015 10:14

I'm finding the negativity quite frustrating on the Facebook page. Presumably everyone had an idea of what the food was before they started. I certainly did. Personally I'm really enjoying it and am counting down the days to my first BUB!

gotredonyou · 06/08/2015 11:12

BUB are the best- I carried them over in C2 & C3 as a post workout meal. Yum!
I dislike the comments on the FB page about not losing weight. This plan is not a weight loss programme...its a health and fitness programme to help you get fit and lean...that doesn't always result in weight loss grrr!

snowydrops · 06/08/2015 12:03

What's a BUB?!
