Sorry Puggirl I've only just seen your comment - yes I'm happy to share which plan I'm using - it's the Freedom Diet Coach plan freedomdietcoach.co.uk and I've had great success with it - it was much better suited to me than the Body Coach plan as it was more the sorts of things I liked to eat and could prepare in large amounts for the whole family to eat, and I really enjoyed having a healthy plan which had been prepared just for me and so excluded any food I specified that I didn't like. And the best bit - I've reached my goal weight and am maintaining by roughly sticking to the follow-up maintenance plan they sent me. I'd happily recommend it to anyone looking for a diet plan.

Good luck to those on Diet Coach too though, it just wasn't for me.

Hi girls, I am on Cycle 2 Day 5 of The Body Coach. I saw 5kg loss and 10½inches gone in Cycle 1. Hoping for more transformation in Cycle 2. It is alot of work prepping meals and drinking loads of water but hey, if it was easy.... We'd all be walking around looking like Bikini models with little to no effort.... I have mostly learned the right way to eat and feel so much more healthy for of. 100% mindset change xxx

jennylyddon · 22/02/2016 08:50

Wow sophie2012mum, that's absolutely incredible results!! I've just bought the Lean in 15 book, and wondering how close the recipes and exercises are to the Cycle 1 stuff. 😊 Does anyone know? Eager to get this journey started!!

seefeld · 29/02/2016 22:13

Jennylyddon, my pack said that the Lean in 15 book wasn't to be used for stage one but that it was similar to stages 2 and 3 although the quantities of food won't have been tailored to an individual's needs.

Is it possible to tone up by using his YT vids and recipes?

I'm already a size 8-10 and don't want to lose weight. Just want to tone the usual bits - upper arms, hips, thighs. I go regularly (3 X a week) to a gym and do HIIT there and have created my own routines using his videos which have helped me a lot. Would purchasing the 3 month plan make a massive difference?

carolinetiger123 · 22/04/2016 19:39

Just started ..The planning if you have kids must be tricky as my husband and I seem to be constantly buying and cooking but the meals are delish but my teens won't look at them ..I'm not doing it to lose weight but eat more healthier and do more exercise and is fun doing the program with my husband

carolinetiger123 · 22/04/2016 19:41

I'm 8 stone and really was worried it would make me lose but am reassured it will be fine ..I just want to tone more

lucyg130584 · 21/05/2016 10:23

Hi.
I am considering signing up to the 90 day program after seeing so many positive comments on here. However, I'm not sure if its right for me. I don't want to lose weight as I am very slim anyway and have struggled to put on weight all of my life, but I need to tone my stomach and get rid of my muffin tops. What do you guys reckon?
Thanks in advance.

carolinetiger123 · 21/05/2016 10:52

I've been doing it for a month ..it's brilliant

carolinetiger123 · 21/05/2016 10:54

I'm doing to build up and eat more healthily ..I was a bit puny and I fed see a stronger leaner less spindly me ..it does whatever your body needs it to do so my husband on it too and he wanted to lose weight which he has ..but I've got stronger but waist is thinner but I've gained weight

Placemarking this.

My DH and child are veggie - so I eat loads of veggie meals......but I do like my meat days as well - can you get a programme that is say 70% veggie + 30% meat? or do you have to jump one way or the other?

Chloecjc · 21/06/2016 16:06

Hi, I am towards the end of C1 of the Body Coach and I am struggling with this as I am just not seeing any results whatsoever, anyone else in the same boat? I don't want to invest another 2 months in this and end up bigger than I was before!

user1467889416 · 07/07/2016 12:13

I paid £147 for it in January and was pretty disappointed. The 30 day separate plans get really boring, there aren't that many meal choices and if you don't like fish, for eg, there are way less. I felt like for 4 weeks I ate the same 6 evening meals. Same 2 snacks. Over and over.

I also felt like I ate too much. I couldnt get through the 3 meals and 2 snacks every day, and I eat loads usually. They claim that part of the money is for a tailored plan & your own personal coach. I joined a FB support group though, with hundreds of people on it, and we all had the same plan, same portions, whether we were a size 6 or size 16. And loads of us lost next to nothing at the end of cycle 1. In inches or weight. And the "coach" never gets in touch. I started my first 30 days again as I'd had a few nights out and at no point did my coach email to say have you started? Have you finished? Are you ok? You should be needing cycle 2 now. No, nothing. I think its a rip off. Doing the £7.99 book and finding HIITs on YouTube is pretty similar. And cheaper. And I put my plan on eBay, to sell it for a tenner & recoup some of the ludicrous amount of money, and they threatened me with legal action! Anyway, I sold 7 before they caught me :-)

Chloecjc · 07/07/2016 12:28

Hahahaha! I sort of admire your balls for selling on the plan! That's half of the costs recouped...well I have to say at the end of the cycle 1 I had indeed lost 2kg which I was ecstatic about! :) I hadn't lost inches off anywhere but my already small bust which was annoying! However hardly the Body Coach's fault! It has spurred me on to keep going, however I cannot seem to get my head around cycle 2, there appears to be alot more freedom with the food but I'm not sure that works for me as I am a rubbish cook and much prefer to follow a recipe. I am dreading the mixture of HIIT and weights and I am genuinely terrified of gaining weight but I will persevere and try my best to trust in the plan!

YouOKHun · 07/07/2016 17:56

"They claim that part the money is for a tailored plan & your own personal coach. I joined a FB support group though, with hundreds of people on it, and we all had the same plan, same portions, whether we were a size 6 or size 16".

Yes, this was my experience of it too, once I found some others to compare. I liked his enthusiasm and I see online people have had success on this but I just found it too hard going for me. I don't eat meat (I do eat fish) but that meant I felt really restricted and I found it fiddly and difficult to cook separately (I hate cooking which is always a trip hazard with any regime). I kept forgetting to take the vits and couldn't stomach the (expensive) protein powders. I ended up thinking that this was ideal for the single person who can focus on themselves, clear the cupboards, only feed themselves etc etc, But I know others here are in the same position as me and still manage it. After two weeks of C1 I gave up feeling even more despondent about my weight and even poorer. It was definitely a one size fits all from what I could see.

Dinglem3 · 05/08/2016 22:12

I am due to submit my cycle one results tomorrow. I have put on half a stone in four weeks and another inch on my waist. My online coach has advised me to stop focussing on the scales but it is very hard not to. The advice given from the coach changes on a daily basis - for example, "add in a longer run", "don't do a longer run, do sprints" and the plan itself is full of typos and errors.
The advice given regarding maximum heart rate whilst exercising is also not evidence based - I was advised to exercise with my heart rate at 180 during training- that rate is more than 100% of my maximum heart rate: dangerous advice. I have asked for the evidence supporting the plan but so far this has not been forthcoming. In the same email I asked for a copy of the complaints policy and had a reply advising me to "push through and smash out some sprints". Seriously. Avoid.

Smellycat123 · 22/08/2016 18:57

Hi
Just wondering if you the program and how you all got on?

michelle303 · 23/08/2016 10:31

It really helps if you want to lose a lot of weight. The programme was split into Round 1, 2 and 3, each one lasts a month. So each month you get changes to your exercise routine and diet, which I enjoyed. The HIIT exercises are easy to do at home, and it's not that time consuming either. It's quite expensive, so I'd recommend just doing TBC's youtube videos and buying his recipe books.

Jo0070 · 23/08/2016 23:43

Hi I'm on day 9 of Cycle 1 and its the best thing I have ever signed up to.

The plan is using your body in an experiment over a 90 day period - over 3 cycles...
You submit a questionare; including your body measurements - waist, hips etc. They send you your recipes for your 1st cycle. This cycle will last for 30 days. At the end of the cycle 1 you then submit your measurements again - this goes on for cycle 2 and cycle 3.

During each cycle the ratio of fat, carbs and protein (these are the macros) detailed in your recipes changes.
At the end of the 90 days the body coach team analyse your measurements, and using their knowledge of the science behind fat loss, they tell you how your body best behaves to each macro - so gives you the tools to go it alone.

I have 3 children age 3, 12, 14 and a partner - whatever I have for tea the family have too, this solves a lot of faffing; I couldnt be bothered cooking a meal for me and a different meal for them, and so far they love the meals. Also in doing this, I feel they are being educated on the correct way to eat - non of this low fat nonsense.

I promised myself when I signed up I would follow the plan 100% and that is what I have done - I haven't had a drop of alcohol or a sniff of chocolate and I intend to stay that way - it just hasn't bothered me one little bit!! Saturday nights in our house have always included a take-out, wine, chocolate, crisps - but the plan has grabbed me, it has got me hooked, the food is so nutritious that my body is just loving it and sees junk food for what it is - junk.

The biggest changes for me so far besides not having any cravings is my energy levels, I don't feel sluggish. I can definitely see my bloated tummy shrinking. My skin feels great. I actually look forward to working out!!

After seeing these results after 9 days I know I can achieve so much more after 90 days - the contentment this gives me I cannot even describe - I know that I will get to where I want to be - and if I can do this - trust me, anyone can. For me the plan is well and truly worth £147 and I don't have money to throw around.

bearfishdoodle · 24/08/2016 08:51

I signed up for this last August, paying over three subsequent months.

My 'personalised' plan took 6 weeks to arrive (I chased, they ignored until I replied to an email threatenting to take me to court for the second and third payments) and when it did, was stuffed with Quorn based meals despite my telling them I was allergic to it. I queried it and received the equivalent of back in reply.

So, £147 down, still not received a suitable plan or any contact from my 'coach' an entire year later. What a con.

Sussex1983 · 24/08/2016 14:19

I think that this thread proves that you either love or hate the plan !
I signed up earlier in the year, like previous posters have said, the plan received was not personalised & had spelling errors (no massive deal, but not very impressive). I already ran a lot & went to classes such as Metafit (actually had to cut my exercise to fit in with the plan), being pretty fit I found the hiit ok - but if I hadn't of been a regular gym goer, I don't think I'd if known where to start - the plan isn't very clear.
I stuck to the exercise 100% & the food about 90% - I didn't loose a pound. The photos taken before & after hardly showed any difference at all.
When I sent off my results / photos & commented on this my 'coach' sent another standardised response (more spelling errors) telling me I'd obviously made fantastic changes (no - I hadnt!)
It's clear that this works for some people, but not for me. I was slimmer a month after I stopped it.

Hi, I've just joined so I can ask how it went? I can see this is an old thread but I'm thinking of doing this but it is a large chunk of cash. Like someone said I know what to do so why do I need to spend nearly 150 quid to do it! :)

Mostnamesgone · 25/01/2017 15:26

Actually read the second page which I didn't realise was there before I posted. So works for some not others and its a bit of one size fits all approach? Gah!
