I keep seeing before and after shots after his 90 day programme and they are fantastic...anyone done it and what basically is it in a nutshell?

Meals are delicious although I have been playing around with recipes (on advice of my coach) Portion sizes aren't as big as everyone makes out, although I am on 20% reduction as I was on a VLCD previously. As the weeks have gone on, i'm getting hungrier which I've been told is due to my metabolism kicking in. Really looking forward to C2 with all the carbs and I've always wanted to do weights!

FFSletmechangemyname · 05/06/2015 20:20

Im thinking about joining this but just not 100% convinced as yet.

Can I ask what the meals are like?
Do you need to buy supplements and how much are these generally ?
Do you have to use organic food ?

I already do lots of exercise and when I emailed them they said they could taylor my plan to that.

My problems is that I don't eat enough, I have about 1300 calories a day and I know this isn't right but struggle to eat more as I've had issues with food in the past (ED). I have breakfast and dinner and no lunch and I think my metabolism is buggered to be honest.

I am so very very tempted by this as I would love to learn about how to fuel my body properly. I've heard that's what it teaches you ?

caterpuller · 07/06/2015 10:49

I follow him on FB and think his recipe vids are fab, but I have had my suspicions about some of the before + after photos. I've seen a couple that look photoshopped to me - elongated, mainly, to make people look slimmer, it's fairly obvious in a couple I've seen in the last few weeks, but no one else seems to notice, although I do think I've read comments that suggest he is pretty hot at deleting any negative posts on the page, so maybe that's why it looks like no one else is questioning it.
I think anyone who commits to a lifestyle change (new way of working out and eating) for 30, 60 or 90 days will see changes in body shape and weight, if you are consistent and motivated. For all of the successes on his page, I wonder how many spend the money and don't get the results because they can't commit to such a big change?

First day! Wish me luck! Confused

gotredonyou · 08/06/2015 09:31

Good luck Arkkorox !!

I'm on day 22 today- going so quick!

FFSlet - On cycle one you have a list of low carb meals for rest days and carb refuel meals to have after HIIT workouts. You can have any type of meal at any time so if you are not used to eating lunch you could just have a smoothie or salad? He recommends supplements but they are not compulsory. I haven't bought any, only protein powder. You don't have to buy organic food- I mainly shop at Aldi to keep costs down. It definitely teaches you how to fuel your body correctly.

Cater - I doubt the pictures are photoshopped but some do look dramatically different in the 4/8/12 week timeframe. I follow him on Instagram and you can click on the @(name) which takes you to the transformed persons profile.

First day for me to! So far so not hungry - the food levels look very significant and I hope will be enough to stop me picking all day .. am checking out the photos to keep me inspired- am not sure any are photoshopped -- but I would think that the timescales are possibly a little out for some as when you read the testimonials, a few do confess to slipping off the plan..

gotredonyou · 09/06/2015 10:29

How's everyone getting on so far? I have one week left of Cycle 1 so going to try and fit in 5 HIIT sessions (only usually do 4) before I submit my results. Looking forward to the reintroduction of carbs in C2 :D

CarolBornAMan · 09/06/2015 10:40

I am enjoying food so far (all of the 4 meals and 2 snacks!) but definitely did underestimate amount of prep and the bloody accuracy required (62g of avao - really not 60 or 65?!)

How do you feel after a month on it? I feel my stomach is already a bit flatter from lack of carbs .. well less carbs as I dont feel carb deprived on this at all as to have a bagel for breakfast is not really the Atkins view of low carb!!

gotredonyou · 09/06/2015 11:09

Tbh I am not always that accurate- I tend to use half a large avocado in my smoothie after weighing it for the first couple of times at 60g, 75g, 67g etc..mainly to save money/wastage!
I feel generally less bloated and 'leaner' after over 3 weeks on the plan. Will post measurements/weight loss results next week.

CarolBornAMan · 09/06/2015 14:19

great - look forward to seeing how you did for motivation! Interested to see how much carbier it gets in C2 as I am not feeling deprived yet. Am feeling quite bloated today after what felt like an entire turkey dinner for lunch .. and more meat ahead for dinner.. definitely high volumes of food..

Arkkorox · 12/06/2015 10:12

Day 5! Still going! Slipped up with some chocolate yesterday. Oops :(

gotredonyou · 12/06/2015 10:19

Woo well done, how you finding it? I had some peanut m&ms instead of plain almonds the other day- I was in heaven! lol

Just 4 days left for me on C1- looking forward to finding out my results as I've only weighed myself once in the last 4 weeks! Doubt i'll make the IG hall of fame but I certainly feel better in my clothes! :)

Arkkorox · 13/06/2015 10:21

I'm quite enjoying it actually! The low carb high protein thing makes sense to me so I'm liking it. Can see myself getting sick of eggs though lol

Danceasifnooneswatching · 14/06/2015 21:35

Took the plunge... Day 6 for me and I'm loving itSmile

Jermajesty · 14/06/2015 22:05

I need to do something about my increasing weight (since I stopped smoking) & those transformation pictures are very persuasive. But, for those of you doing it, could you tell me a bit more about the food plans - I'm a very fussy eater (think minimal fruit & veg), would they be suitable for me?

gotredonyou · 15/06/2015 09:24

My 30th day tomorrow- looking forward to finding out my results. Think I will treat myself to a slice of cake/bar of chocolate before Cycle 2 arrives as that's what I've been craving. Definitely fed up of eggs!

Jermajesty There is minimal fruit on the plan (1 piece 2-3x a week) but lots of veg so might not be the best plan for you?

An example days menu for me is..

B- Mozerella & Mushroom Omelette with wilted spinach
S- 22g Almonds
L- Tuna Salad with Avocado
S- Apple
D- Chicken & Veg Stirfry.

Jermajesty · 15/06/2015 23:59

Thanks gotredonyou, I would struggle with that! Maybe I need to remotivate myself with the 30 day shred.....

gotredonyou · 16/06/2015 09:39

Right results have been submitted!

Weight loss: -8lbs
Inch loss:
Chest -1.5
Waist -1.5
Hips -1
Thighs -1
Arms -1

I also took front, side and back pictures which I can notice a slight change in my stomach and thighs. My skin also looks healthier and more even in appearance like my circulation has improved. Very pleased! Grin

CarolBornAMan · 16/06/2015 11:40

WOW amazing - well done you! I am really enjoying it as well .. I am amazed it has taken me this long to realise the secret to weight loss is preparing meals to reduce the risk of failure doing to lack of good food choices.. It is great to open fridge in morning and see all my meals boxed up and ready to go..

Will we see your photos on Twitter?

gotredonyou · 16/06/2015 12:21

Thankyou- I doubt my photos will make the hall of fame..maybe by the end of cycle 3!

I'm really looking forward to cycle 2- apparently it takes 5 working days to arrive so i'm going to stick to C1 until then but have the odd treat.

gotredonyou · 19/06/2015 09:36

How's everyone getting on? I received my C2 plan last night and it seems so complicated compared to C1. It is a pic n mix system so no recipes you just have to make up the meals yourself! Going to spend the weekend meal planning & practicing some of the exercises! x

CarolBornAMan · 19/06/2015 23:52

I was doing really well until last night and I had wine which meant today I had toast .. hangs head in shame... just got a huge ocado order of meat and veg turning up to put me back on the path... I actually look forward to making up meals as I am feeling a bit limited by what is available in C1 even though I like it all... i hope it is not too bonkers and like weight watchers with things from columns and adding stuff up as that drives me mad...

gotredonyou · 22/06/2015 09:22

That's not too bad- you could've done an extra HIIT to burn it off?
First day of C2 today- had protein oats for breakfast which was lovely but felt odd eating it without earning it if you know what I mean? Got Tuna pasta salad for lunch & making a chicken curry with rice for dinner so huge portions on training days! Looking forward to doing some weights after work though...

CarolBornAMan · 22/06/2015 14:38

wow that really is carb wonderland compared to where I am! but does at same time sound quite a lot.. and envy you the weights .. bloody hate burpees!

eshermummy · 22/06/2015 16:12

I have signed up for this - got my Cycle 1 plan through a few days ago and am starting today - do I need to enter my body measurements somewhere on the site/notify them of my start date? I can't see where I would log in to find my pics/stats? Or do I only have to do this at the end of each cycle? (Still don't know how I would do this at the end anyway as can't seem to find a log-in page.......)
