I keep seeing before and after shots after his 90 day programme and they are fantastic...anyone done it and what basically is it in a nutshell?

Well the week before starting the plan I had some carb heavy meals and did no exercise so I think the drastic change meant I saw instant results...Day 11 Cycle 1 and I'm feeling less bloated and tighter. Most people feel a big difference in the first four weeks, reading the comments on the FB group Cycle 2 is where you introduce weight lifting and carbs so most people feel bloated but when they compare pictures their overall shape has completely leaned out.

The meals are so tasty, I was feeling a little bit bored as there are only a couple of recipes I like the sound of so emailed my coach who said I could swap the protein sources around- e.g The teriyaki salmon I can swap for chicken. Beef casserole for sausage casserole etc..

The HIIT I have found really difficult but I have noticed a difference in my fitness levels around so hoping by the end of cycle 1 I will be able to do a HIIT session fairly easily.

Glad to see some positive feedback relating to this plan, I'm waiting on mine to land in my inbox any day now and I'm really excited about it. Is anybody else starting Cycle 1 fairly soon?

CarolBornAMan · 31/05/2015 20:55

I am! I sent off for the plan last week so hoping to start next weekend - be great to do it along side you as I think I am going to find it really hard..

Danceasifnooneswatching · 31/05/2015 23:06

I've signed up and waiting for my plan to arrive feeling very anxious as it's an awful lot of money!

gotredonyou · 01/06/2015 10:36

Day 15 Cycle 1 for me..lost 1 inch off my bust, hips, thighs & arms & 2 inches off my waist so very happy so far!

CarolBornAMan · 01/06/2015 11:04

wow that sounds great - really wanted to get started now .. but dont think will get the plan until weekend .. might sit around eating toast to ensure good results quickly!!

LostQueen · 02/06/2015 07:11

It has arrived! All 89 pages landed in my inbox last night and I've had w good read. It all seems very straightforward and I can tell that the challenge is more about the commitment and consistency than it is about the plan itself. I've already bought a shitload of containers and placed an order on myprotein.com. This week at work is a stupidly hectic one for me so I plan to get started with meal prep etc at the weekend and start on Sunday.
Would be fab to do it alongside you CarolBornAMan! I need all the support I can get too tbh as emotional eating is my biggest downfall but I'm determined to break that habit.
gotredonyou well done! Sounds like amazing progress, I can imagine how happy you must be!

LostQueen · 02/06/2015 07:13

danceasifnooneswatching I'm sure you will do just fine! It would be fab if we could all support each other :)

CarolBornAMan · 02/06/2015 09:33

mine has arrived too!! late last night - who did you get as your coach - I have Jamila. I am going to start Saturday. My biggest problem is I just eat all day - graze on anything without needing the food - there is no emotion - just food. Not had time to read it in depth but what I have seen so far looks fine - not sure about the HIIT - it looks like it kills Joe when he does it on the videos so I am not going to survive it! Putting that off until Saturday as well!

CalmYoBadSelf · 02/06/2015 09:38

This was in The Times on Saturday, food looks great but the exercise would be too much for me (in my 50s, hugely fat, unfit and asthmatic)) I'll keep looking back to see how you are all doing and hope it rubs off Grin

gotredonyou · 02/06/2015 09:51

The HIIT is a killer but I've noticed my fitness improving already and the post carb meal makes it worth it!

Carol Would you say you graze all day because you are bored/hungry or is it just a bad habit? I used to snack between meals which he allows on this plan but I've found the meals are so filling I don't need to so I usually save my snacks for a dessert after dinner (protein mug cake, cottage cheese/jelly mix, nuts, fruit etc..) x

CarolBornAMan · 02/06/2015 10:13

I would say it is now just a bad habit - I do it whatever I am feeling, to point where if there is food I don't even like, I will pick at it.. I never eat a proper meal which I think is part of the problem. So I am hoping this plan will change the way I look at meals..and make me so full I don't want to eat - I do find am better when eating more protein as carbs just make me pick more as never really feel full.

Glad to hear the HIIT gets better as I want to get fit - more than I want to get slim, no that is a lie but it sounds better :)

CarolBornAMan · 02/06/2015 11:33

calmyoubadself - bar the asthma, you could be me! I hate HATE HATE exercise and am so unfit it is now beyond a joke.. I am hoping that premise that weight loss is 80% diet will get me through this - am going to try different types of HIIT until I find one I don't hate as much as the others.. I will never ever burpee..

gotredonyou · 02/06/2015 11:59

I can recommend Fitness Blenders beginner HIIT- That one I find the 'easiest' out of them all. Joe's (TheBodyCoach) Beginner HIIT is torture - high knees, burpees, sumo squats and mountain climbers over and over and over again!! Or you can just make up your own routine?

I would recommend joining the groups on FB- the are great with any questions you have and I find it very motivating being on the same journey as so many others. Everyone is all different ages, weights, sizes, levels of fitness etc...

CarolBornAMan · 02/06/2015 12:08

yes just joined one - but quite a level of doom and gloom in it .. He does show some great transformations but I think they are only a tiny fraction of the overall numbers and most people lose motivation when they are not one of the ones showing massive changes.. I hope I am not one of them! Think my age and fitness will mean takes me longer but think I am prepared for the long term and just how much work this is going to be .. did think about it for quite a while before forking out the cash..

talking of which, did you read he has 1000 people joining a week now - making him £149,000 A WEEK!!

gotredonyou · 02/06/2015 12:14

I think you just have to remember its a three month plan...if you don't see results at the end of cycle 1, stick with it and you will definitely see results by the end of cycle 3. Also don't compare your transformation to others because everyone's bodies react differently.

I bet a lot of people choose to pay the three £49 a month payments rather than up front. Plus he has a huge team of coaches now to deal with all the personalised plans so I think that number would be a lot lower when you take into consideration all the overheads.

CarolBornAMan · 02/06/2015 12:38

oh I dont mind at all what he makes as long as I get to transform into one of his successful graduates! Just wish I was better at burpees - there is money to be made there :)

BatCrapCrazy · 02/06/2015 21:50

I'm doing it - currently on week 4 of cycle one and I've put on half a stone :(
Before the plan I was running the equivalent of a marathon everyweek, plus weight training and a bootcamp class. I think 25mins of HIIT is just not enough for me.

Praying I see results in cycle 2 as I'm getting married in 13 weeks and my dress fitted 5 weeks ago and now it doesn't! X

gotredonyou · 03/06/2015 09:40

wow that's not good!! BatCrapCrazy

Have you messaged your coach about this?? Have you lost inches??

Danceasifnooneswatching · 03/06/2015 17:13

Crikey I hope I don't put weight on Hmm!!
Will be good to spur each other on as it seems a few of us are just starting or waiting for plan to arrive!

Can I join in? Starting this on Monday. Eep!

gotredonyou · 04/06/2015 10:28

Yes of course! I'm on day 18- it has gone so fast. Not sure whether to submit my result exactly 30 days or 1 total month as it takes a couple of days for cycle 2 to arrive hmmm

Arkkorox · 04/06/2015 10:32

How have you found the meals, portion size etc?
