Good luck for your treadmill challenge mojito, will you be doing it in the morning or afternoon?

I have been on the scales this morning and have lost 3.5 lbs this week which means I've completed the 10lb challenge for the third time. I am now 15st 10lbs and am just a pound short of losing 3 stone since I started.

I'm keeping to the smaller goals, I still don't want to look at the big picture too much, so my next goal should take me to 15 st. I got my blood tests back and everything was fine which is good.

Is anyone else weighing in today?

Mojito100 · 01/09/2014 07:13

Lunar. CONGRATULATIONS. Yes I want to shout from the roof tops for you. You should be so proud of yourself.

I will be treadmilling I'm the evening but because I am in Oz this means morning for you.

I weighed in this morning and was at 78.9kg. I will lose what I want I am determined. I have had a good food day today and stopped myself a number of times from snacking. I've also had 1.2l of water which is more than normal.

lunar1 · 01/09/2014 08:08

Brilliant mojito, you sound really determined. I didn't realise you were in Australia. I'm using your huge weight loss as my inspiration right now!

I'm finding this thread a real help, I'm normally pretty rubbish at keeping up with threads. I'll usually post twice then lose the plot.

I should have also added that I am 99.8kg, very happy to see the end of being over 100!!!

Mojito100 · 01/09/2014 12:23

It's amazing isn't it when you get below the next 10kg. I can't believe I'm in the 70's I never thought it would happen.

I have just done 20mins on the treadmill. I chose a programme which I didn't know what it did so I ran 8 minutes and walked fast for the rest. I had 5 mins warm up and cool down but I'm happy with the 20mins as it was harder than I would have done on a manual setting. I'll keep posting so I stay committed.

Keep going lunar. I think you are amazing with what you have achieved so far.

IScreamForIceCream · 01/09/2014 12:42

Afternoon all, adding my post to this wave of positivity that we seem to have going at the moment!

I've been away for a week or so with rellies, but have tried to 'be good' (much as I hate that concept). I am obviously seen as the person who is always up for a snack, and will finish off that last slice of cake, few biscuits etc Blush but no more!

Delighted to come back and weigh in to find I've now lost 7 lb over 4.5 weeks, and am now just out of the overweight category in BMI. I do have a small frame however, so really I ought be to be a bit lower, and determined to carry on for a good while, as well as not return to my previous biscuit/chocolate/magnum diet.

lindaRa182 · 01/09/2014 13:29

Mojito well done so far! I've just messaged you with details of the cleanse I did. Hope you find it helpful x

lunar1 · 01/09/2014 13:37

Brilliant loss IScream, you are almost there! Mojito, well done on the treadmill. I have just come back from trampolining with my boys. I think my legs will hurt tomorrow, it must burn a few calories?!

Mojito100 · 01/09/2014 14:29

Great work is cream.

trikken · 01/09/2014 14:40

Wow you've all done really well. Good losses.

Mojito100 · 02/09/2014 11:40

I did another 20 mins on the treadmill today with 7 minutes running. Already I found myself driving home and thinking of excuses not to do it but then thought about the commitment I had made to all of you and felt guilty for the thought. You are all great motivation.

I had another good food day. Was at sports carnival today but took my own coffee and food. I didn't have time for breakfast before we left so took my pot of yoghurt which filled me up. Didn't snack on any of the goods on offer for sale and didn't snack on any of the homemade baked goods I took either. Just thinking about making myself omelette for dinner. Feeling good today and plan for it to continue through to Sunday. Small steps and goals as lunar says.

lunar1 · 02/09/2014 12:06

Wow, you resisted home baking I'm really impressed! Will be checking tomorrow to make sure you have done that treadmill workout again!

I have spent the morning in the park, my two are still off school till Monday. They have been pestering for pancakes which I have made with sugar and lemon. I have resisted so far, hopefully they will want the last two and there won't be any left for me!

lunar1 · 03/09/2014 08:56

Change, I hope you are ok and everything went well in court.

Mojito, how have you got on with the treadmill today?

trikken · 03/09/2014 12:31

Doing ok so far today. Had some chocolate already though. Had to have my rat put to sleep as he got tangled in the holder for his food bowl and suffered internal injuries. Sad

lunar1 · 03/09/2014 13:02

Sorry to read about your rat Trikken. It's amazing how attached we get to pets, they really are one of the family.

trikken · 03/09/2014 14:21

Thanks lunar, wouldn't have been as bad if he was an old rat but we'd only had him 4 months and he was my pet.

Mojito100 · 03/09/2014 14:36

Hi all. Another good food day and 20 mins on treadmill. I didn't work quite as hard as last 2 days but I was practicing my interview answers out loud whilst on there as have interview tomorrow. It certainly passed the time. Hope the rest of you are going ok.

Mojito100 · 04/09/2014 11:01

A good food day today but no treadmill as yet. I need some time alone to lick my wounds as DS2 was suspended from school again today and I think I bombed my interview. I'll start fresh tomorrow.

trikken · 04/09/2014 11:38

Good idea Mojito. Sometimes we need days off.

lunar1 · 04/09/2014 13:17

When do you find out if you got the job mojito? I hope it went better than you think. What happened with your son?

I'm not having the best day, I can't seem to keep away from the kitchen! Ou really can't wait till Monday when the children are back at school and I can start at the gym.

Mojito100 · 04/09/2014 15:39

I find out next week if I got the job officially but I don't think they were looking for someone strategic and that theme came through in my answers. They want an implementer which I definitely am but I just don't think I gave enough in that area. I have a great job at the moment so it's not a big loss but obviously this would have been more money. In relation to my DS2 he has significant behavioural problems and suspension from school is not unusual. We are working hard to help him develop skills to manage his behaviour but it is a long road with continued set backs. Fell in a small hole food wise once I sent kids to bed tonight. Ate loads of watermelon which filled me up but then had an ice cream as comfort eating. I look forward to seeing my new friend the treadmill tomorrow!

trikken · 04/09/2014 18:21

Bad food afternoon. Avoiding cake and swapped to a few blueberries though so thats a plus. Will do more hula hooping later to try to even it out a bit.

Mojito100 · 05/09/2014 12:07

Didn't do my 20 mins on treadmill yesterday but did today. Feel good for having done it and again was motivated because I needed to let you all know. Good food day today and that really is because I am making myself have breakfast. I'm eating again at regular times and not getting the 3 o'clock sugar craving. Mind you behaving myself and exercising this week doesn't seem to have made a difference to the scales. I got on today and was 78.9 same as my Monday weigh in. Let's hope I go down for Monday coming.

lunar1 · 05/09/2014 12:26

Well done on the exercise, the best I've managed today is a walk round the park. The hula hoop still isn't really clicking. Will keep trying though.

twobambinos · 05/09/2014 18:23

Testing

twobambinos · 05/09/2014 18:31
