Good start to the day, I've had weetabix with skimmed milk and a glass if water for breakfast. Made a salad for lunch and have stir fry ingredients in for dinner. There will be no snacks in between!

Mojito100 · 07/08/2014 09:08

In the spirit of honesty I had a coffee for breakfast with a peach, then snacked on a mini pack of Oreos as kids left them in car. Lunch was very late and has curried egg sandwich and that's it so far. No water today but off to walk for an hour as kids have sport training on. Will try to have healthy dinner if omelet as nothing planned.

trikken · 07/08/2014 09:10

Toast for breakfast, only lightly buttered. And black coffee so fairly good start.

dottyaboutstripes · 07/08/2014 10:21

I had some sugar puffs for breakfast. We are taking the kids out for dinner (possibly McD) so maybe I'll have a salad? Apart from that I don't know about today. I should burn off calories packing, right?!

Mojito100 · 07/08/2014 11:00

Damn I forgot I had a homemade blueberry muffin. Add that to my list.

trikken · 07/08/2014 13:02

How's lunch going? I had an early lunch as was starving, had a couple of crackers and a little bit of cheese (made sure it was only a little as can go a bit cheese crazy) so I can have a decent dinner later.

dottyaboutstripes · 07/08/2014 13:08

I had some beans on toast but also crisps (why??!!! Don't even like them?!)

trikken · 07/08/2014 13:10

I must admit I just nicked a couple from dd's plate, but at least it stopped me eating a whole bag.

MrsDesperado · 07/08/2014 13:39

3 mile run, Greek yoghurt and berries for breakfast, tuna mayo salad for lunch

Are you moving soon dotty? Have you found somewhere suitable to live? Sorry if you've already explained.

lunar1 · 07/08/2014 16:20

Everyone seems to be doing better today, I've stuck to my plan so far. I have also been to see my Gp. Got weighed, had my bp and pulse done and he has given me an appt for a blood test.

I also asked to be referred to a weight management clinic. I have to get my bmi under control and make this a permanent change. I have failed so many times, I'm 34 if I can do this now then I can hopefully avoid the long term problems associated with obesity.

dottyaboutstripes · 07/08/2014 20:24

MrsD we are moving next Tuesday, relocating from Norfolk to Cardiff. We rented the only available house where the kids have school places, it was all really stressful, but at least our sale has gone through, it was touch and go!
Well we went to Nandos and although I had a salad, I suspect it was somewhat "naughty". Oops!

ShotgunNotDoingThePans · 07/08/2014 20:35

Wow Dotty that's a massive move - well done to you!
I have fond feelings for Cardiff as that's where I started work and met DH. It still seems fab on the odd occasion I've been back.
I'm sure your eating will settle once you're erm settled Smile.

changeeverything · 07/08/2014 22:18

Dotty, good luck with the move x

I've had another hectic day at work, no lunch yet again..

calorie consumption is fine today but could have made better food choices. Hoping work will settle a bit next week so I can get back in a routine.

Mrsd well done on the running, I really miss it but I keep getting injured when I try to get the miles back up Sad Think it's my age Wink

Looks like we'll all getting back on track a bit. ..well done!!! (Although im having 2glasses of wine tonight.....)

Hope you all had a good day, all the best for tomorrow x

I did pretty good. Chicken stir fry for dinner. 40 mins of hula hooping. .

lunar1 · 08/08/2014 06:51

Really glad everyone seems to have had a better day yesterday. Glad you are getting sorted dotty, do you still have to put lots in storage?

I hope to have another good day today, I'm going out tomorrow night for food and wine so today and Sunday need to be good days!

IScreamForIceCream · 08/08/2014 10:34

Aaaarrrggghhhh. No idea what happened to me yesterday. My mfp reads like a car crash: a bit of cheese, a couple of mini cheddars, a mini crumpet (buttered)... I was like a locust sneaking through the kitchen, snaffling a bit of this and a bit of that. Not even sure what triggered it - I'm not premenstrual or anything! I think I was in the kitchen too much.

Oh well, today is a new day. And I need to plan my food better.

Hope move goes well, Dotty !

lunar1 · 08/08/2014 13:12

I know I shouldn't but that really made me laugh IScream. It's because I can identify so much I think. Sometimes it's like being possessed, I know I shouldn't be doing it but carry on regardless!

Not been a bad day today, a bit carb heavy but I will still be under my cals.

trikken · 08/08/2014 14:21

Tiredness makes me like that IScream. I cant focus and just end up grazing on everything I see. Dh is here so ive ended up doing bacon sandwiches but I only had two rashers and one piece of bread. I'm going to work later (date checker in retail so fairly active job.) I figure I will burn it off.

IScreamForIceCream · 08/08/2014 15:47

"Carry on regardless" - YES!

Why don't I have the thing that says 'oh, that's enough now, I shall stop'? Tiredness does make me like that, trikken, but I can't blame tiredness for yesterday either.

Oh well, live and learn...
