Thank you, it's not as bad as I thought then. Tomorrow I'm going to buy a new digital scale as the analogue one is broken (not from my weight!) Hmm, and will measure my waist, my target weight is 9stone. What's yours Change and how much have you lost so far?

changeeverything · 27/07/2014 20:23

Ive only lost 1lb so far. . our third weigh in starts tomorrow. I lost 2 inches off waist first week but no weight loss. Then lost 1lb last week. Will weigh in tomorrow.

Im 10st 8 now...hoping to get to 9st 13 but ideally would like to be 9 st 7.

Im doing a bit of strength training at the gym so im hoping my fat to muscle ratio is changing for the better.

changeeverything · 27/07/2014 20:51

I can't weigh in this morning as I had to come to my placement last night. So it will have to wait till Saturday.
I don't mind too much as the weekend was horrible anyway. My sister brought back lovely sweets from her holiday.

ShotgunNotDoingThePans · 28/07/2014 10:00

No weigh in here either. Am in Cornwall again; still haven't lost the 2lbs I gained last time (yes I avoided the cream teas, but I failed to mention the wine and fudge!)
Anyway, aiming to keep doing mfp and resist the alcohol this time as much as I can. Best of luck all.

lunar1 · 28/07/2014 10:03

Started this challenge at 17 st 5 and I'm now 16 st 9lbs so have managed to lose my 10lbs in 3 weeks. I'm so happy to have reached this goal, my size 20 clothes are really baggy now so at the weekend I'm going to have a sort through and get the 18's out. Hopefully the 20's can be sent the same way as the 22's I got rid of.

With all that said I still need to do this in small chunks so can I please rejoin the thread? My starting weight is 16 st 9 lbs and I would love to lose 10 lbs. (I'm trying to forget the 18st plus I was a few months ago).

educationrocks1 · 28/07/2014 10:08

Lunar Well done! That's amazing. This morning I am aching all over, not sure wether I take a break or work through it.

dottyaboutstripes · 28/07/2014 10:13

Lunar! You rock!
Here's to the next 10 Smile
I've been on the phone begging the estate agent to plead our case - we are moving 250 miles/4.5 hrs away and we were turned down by the landlord as we'd said we only wanted to rent for 6 months whilst looking to buy. We've done a massive u turn and now said we will rent for 2-3 years. The trouble is that someone else has already said 3-5 years. We are screwed. Still can't eat or sleep so at least I will have a loss when I weigh in on Wednesday. Wish dh was here but he's in Central America working. I'm having a truly shit time but I do realise it could be so much worse. Sorry to moan - I'd call my mum but she just always makes me feel even worse!

trikken · 28/07/2014 10:14

Well done lunar.

changeeverything · 28/07/2014 10:41

Lunar, that is fantastic, well done!!!

Ive stayed the same again but lost another inch ..which explains why my jeans are feeling loose. Ive only lost a pound so far but 3 inches off my waist :)

I would have liked a weight loss this week but its totm and im feeling bit bloated so maybe next week??!!

Good luck everyone else for your weigh ins.

Dotty ...hopefully everything will get sorted soon. The uncertainty is awful during a house move. I had everything packed up just a few days before I was due to move, then got call from solicitor to say everything was delayed, didnt know why and didnt know new date. It was soooo stressful, there was a real chance it could have fallen through but we got here eventually. Need nerves of steel for house moves!! :(

Thank ou everyone, I do feel like a bit of a fraud to be honest. It's only because I've got so much to lost that it's coming off this quickly. And while I have always done lots of exercise my diet was appalling.

I'm starting to wonder what will happen to my skin in the long term, I'm seriously thinking I'll have to save up for surgery to get rid of it all!

MrsDesperado · 28/07/2014 15:44

1lb down this week, to 9st 4.1/4, so that's 4 1/4 in total.

I might finally have just shifted an inch off my waist as well (am now 29"). So that's a good thing, though I'm very envious of the 3 inches off your waist change

educationrocks1 · 28/07/2014 15:51

How many times a week do you all do your exercise/ fitness routine? Did it hurt like hell when you first started?

MrsDesperado · 28/07/2014 16:46

I try to do something 3 times a week education. It's not always easy to fit it in but I try and prioritise it. Yes, hurts like hell - still does sometimes! - depending on what I've done. No pain no gain! Grin

educationrocks1 · 28/07/2014 16:56

desperado though am in awful pain! I feel well??if that makes any sense! I don't feel tight and foggy in the head, I feel energised and it's only been 3 sessions.

lunar1 · 28/07/2014 17:01

I try to do random you tube exercise videos every day. Sometimes only a ten minute one and others I'll do an hour. I swim three times a week and in September I'll be rejoining the gym as both my boys will be at school.

MrsDesperado · 28/07/2014 17:28

Yes that makes complete sense education!

I'm finding the energising bit addictive - if I haven't exercised for a couple of days I start to yearn for that feeling again.

changeeverything · 28/07/2014 19:04

Edu, I still ache after gym sessions. I do two personal trainer sessions a week..strength training, one day lower body, the other upper body. The PT keeps pushing me so Im always challenged. So yes, im in pain, but a good pain!! , after exercising still. I try to do a few exercises at home as well and walk the dog every day for at least 30 mins.

I love the post-gym high :)

changeeverything · 28/07/2014 21:50

Wooodpecker · 28/07/2014 22:32

May I join?

I need to lose quite a bit more nut 10lbs would be a good start. I am going to try this by cutting back and increasing fruit and veg/water rather than counting anything or cutting anything out.

I am ashamed to say I am 5 ft 4 in and 12 stone 6lbs (eek). 37.5 inch waist. Blush

Wooodpecker · 28/07/2014 22:33

So if I lose weight my target will be 11st one 10lbs. Needed to see that in print as it were.

changeeverything · 28/07/2014 23:27

Hi wooodpecker, welcome :)

OP posts:
lunar1 · 29/07/2014 08:49

Hi woodpecker, I have way more than you to lose, I'm just breaking it down into 10lb chunks!
