Good luck lunar. Will need to be string today, am going to a birthday and there'll be lots of cake and sweets. Have started the day with 2 cups of tea and 2 glasses of water. Plus 2 hours with the ab belt to get me started.

Will report as I go. I must say reporting everything I eat and do certainly keeps you on track. It's very hard to stick to it but now I'm thinking "if I mess up I'm going to have to tell you all that I've been naughty" and that's keep in me on the straight and narrow.

Have a good day ladies x

Update:

Went to birthday party this morning and was good:

Slices of cake = 0
Chocolates = 0
Biscuits = 0
Fizzy pop = 0
Sweets = 0
Cups of tea = 2
Feelings of good dieting smugness = 10

Also, went to hairdressers but cracked over two of the little Lotus biscuits (36 calories each) with a cup of tea. I snacked on 3 tomatoes and half a slice of ham. Tonight I've had a bowl of salad and 2 glasses of water. Later I'll have some berries but no cross trainer tonight because I've just had my hair done and I have a meeting in the morning. I don't want to get to sweaty and mess my hair up.

Hope all you other lovelies are doing well, just by chance I measured and weighed out my salad and there's about 550 calories in it, so nice bowl of salad to a hand full of chocolate covered Brazil nuts. Makes you think!!

Chicksville007 · 25/07/2014 08:04

Morning,

Well today is going to be a bad food day. I have a meeting which is unavoidable and afterwards there is a meal. I can't rightly pick over lunch while trying to gain a professional type impression. I will skip on dessert and go straight for a cuppa instead.

No cross trainer yesterday but hopefully will be on it later this evening depending on wine intake.

Wishing you all a good food day x

Hi everyone,

Not too bad yesterday but no time for dinner because I had to work. Hadn't prepared for this didnt bringany food with me. Was very hungry and ended up buying bag of crisps at petrol kiosk on way home. But back on plan today!

Been to gym for an hour's lower body and core work out. Have had a protein shake and some nuts and seeds. Have some eggs on to boil, going to have them with a salad. Prob have chicken or tuna with it.

its so hot outside! Will try to go for a walk later when its cooler. Have a good day everyone. Keep going and we'll hopefully have another good result on the scales and/or measurements on Monday. Enjoy the sunshine x

You are both very positive today and well prepared. I did ok yesterday, 700 cals instead of 500 but I'd have been better if I had prepared ahead and had planned my food.

I have the horrible munchies today, I'm keeping them healthy but if someone put a pig pile of junk food in front of me I think it would disappear pretty quickly.

nilbyname · 25/07/2014 17:32

chik you are doing so well, and kudos for behaving yourself at the party!

change you are like a machine, you just keep performing!
I drank beer yesterday after 3 alcohol free days, and it was so flipping nice, I am having another one!

I had the nicest lunch-
homemade pest smeared on a very thing slice of wholemeal toast, some parmesan, some toms from the greenhouse and a double yoke poached egg. It was divine!

No gym tonight, but I probably sweated about a stone off yesterday. My little local gym has no aircon!

Chicksville007 · 25/07/2014 19:49

I AM SOOOO ASHAMED OF MYSELF :(

I was so good yesterday at kiddies party but today I'm so so soooo ashamed. It was a buffet, a help yourself, an unspoken all you can eat. And I did.

It started off so well, a nibble on a lettuce leaf, a glass of water, a spoon of potato salad, a glass of coke. Then it kicked in a gear, a few cheese and spring onion sandwiches, a few more tuna sandwiches, a few cheese savoury rolls, a glass of wine, a few glasses of wine, a few glasses of Pimms. A wedge of cheesecake, a wedge of chocolate cake with cream and a strawberry.

And now that I've got home and feel sorry for myself am munching on Oreos. It's a sad sad day when a grow woman turns back into a sugar craving post period lump.

Back on the salads tomorrow. I promise x

nilbyname · 25/07/2014 19:53

chiks Oh dear, at least you went of the rails and then some Grin tomorrow is a new day.

I just did a 10 mile hilly cycle ride with DD on the back. IT was awesome. we stopped for a beer on the way.

Chicksville007 · 25/07/2014 20:13

I wish I was with you, still, your right tomorrow is another day x

lunar1 · 25/07/2014 20:50

It was a pretty good slip off the rails chick, it's a one off though. What you do for the rest of the week can easily make up for it.

Chicksville007 · 25/07/2014 21:18

Am beached on the sofa feeling ick :( am not going to eat until Wednesday.

changeeverything · 25/07/2014 22:57

Bike ride sounds great, nil.

chick, just eat normally tomorrow!! Count today as yoyr cheat meat and just get back to normal. If you try too hard to make up for today then you will be hungry and vulnerable to going off the rails again. Think of today as a metabolism rev up for your body, back to plan in the morning x

im having glass of wine and have been watching some of commonwealth games..some amazing athletes!!

Chicksville007 · 26/07/2014 09:10

Right, here we go. Let's do this!!!

Start the day 3 (forced) glasses of water, feel a little bit like a water bed. Will be going swimming, talking dog for nice long walk, then lots if housework. Going to try and get two cross training sessions in, after all that sugar yesterday I should be able to whizz around on it. Nothing but salad and fruit this week. Am also going to throw so inner thigh work outs to shape up my legs.

That wasn't just a slip of the rails yesterday, it was a full thrown lunge and belly flop x

lunar1 · 26/07/2014 17:40

How's everyone doing today? I think I've done eating for today! MFP says I've still got 69 cals left but I'm not going to have anything else.

I have it set to sedentary and with the goal of losing 2lbs a week I think. It gives me a daily allowance of 1250 ish. I don't think tomorrow will be good though, we have a family party in the afternoon with a buffet.

Chicksville007 · 26/07/2014 20:14

Beware of buffets.

1 x Salad
1 x Cornetto
1 x bowl of berries
1 hr on cross trainer
3 hrs with an belt on

Still to come:

1 hr cross trainer
2 hrs ab belt

Does any one know of a good skin firming cream for tummys?

dottyaboutstripes · 26/07/2014 20:49

Well after our house purchase fell through (which was in no way good btw!) we went to look for a rental yesterday and failed so we have nowhere to move to but have to find somewhere so the kids can start school in September. Upshot is that I've been so stressed today that I've been losing what I are yesterday and only managed half a bowl of soup today. Wouldn't recommend it to be fair though have prob lost a few ounces. I'd rather be fat with a house

ShotgunNotDoingThePans · 27/07/2014 10:34

Dotty that's awful! Will you be able to find somewhere in time, do you think? I assume you're moving a distance, since you mention schools.
Sounds like you need to concentrate on keeping it together rather than stressing about your weight.

lunar1 · 27/07/2014 14:42

Dotty, I hope you find somewhere quickly. I can't imagine how stressed you must be.

I survived the buffet, drank 1l of water before I went in so I was fullish. I had fruit kebabs and 1 triangle of a cheese sandwich. It was a really stodgy buffet so there wasn't many safe options.

changeeverything · 27/07/2014 18:16

Dotty, really hope something comes up for you soon. Moving house is so stressful x

chicks, glad you back on board...you really did do that slip up in great style lol!

Ive been ok food wise but farrrrrrr too much wine last night, away with a few friends last night (up till early hours chatting and drinking!!)

Back to plan agsin. Ill be here to weigh in tomorrow but then im away for a few days. Will try to stay on track!

Hope u having a nice day, its raining here :( ...feels weird after all the sunshine x

Can I join you lot? How's the new regime going? Just did my first fitness session and it was a killer. I've finally peeled my face off the floor and despite the gruelling regime feel quite energised already. Early days....I hopeSmile

changeeverything · 27/07/2014 19:27

Hi education...welcome :)

You'll have sore muscles tomorrow, sounds like you went for it, well done!

Im having my cheat meal tonight, a small pizza and some wine. Back to the clean eating tomorrow. Really hoping for a loss, inches or lb!!

OP posts:
educationrocks1 · 27/07/2014 19:59

Hello change I went on my fitness pal, is anyone here familiar with it! Basically I'll be losing 1b a week? Sounds like a very long time to lose a pound, does anyone know what a reasonable weight loss per week might be?

changeeverything · 27/07/2014 20:05

1-2lbs a week is prob most to expect if eating healthily and enough to nourish your body. Fast weight loss tends to include muscle tissue then if u gain weight again its harder to shift

Im going the slowly but surely route. Take some measurements too...can lose inches but not lbs some weeks x
