New week new start...

Flutterbee - After my confession earlier in the thread you certainly won't be getting a beating from me.

Sue - You'd think that the SW would have 'got' what you meant by the relationship comment. Was she part-SW part-nun? (No offence inteded toward MNers who may be nuns). I think she forgot the "social" part of her job title.

My exercise for the day will be bowing down and worshipping Suejonez for her comments on the TV thread. Brilliant!

Littlefish · 02/09/2006 23:05

Do you think we have any MNers who are nuns. I'd love to think we did, but I have a feeling that even our considerable appeal may not spread that far

suejoneziscalmernow · 02/09/2006 23:06

do you not think I would make a great nun? I was once told I had a "nun's face". Was never sure how to take that (and still don't many years later)

suejoneziscalmernow · 02/09/2006 23:07

do nun's have to be celibate? Obviously that would be OK for now, but wansn't planning on it forever.

suejoneziscalmernow · 02/09/2006 23:09

I had several comments on that thread coppertop - which one caught your fancy then (must keep it and use it again!)

coppertop · 02/09/2006 23:14

I think my favourite bit was the part about how we had the friendliest vice there was - unlike the spreading of STDs and cigarette smoke.

Maybe there are covert nuns plotting to lead us back to the path of righteousness. Can you tell I had a Catholic upbringing?

JackieNo · 03/09/2006 09:18

Morning guys. ROFL at the thought of covert nuns on MN.

Dangerous week for me, as DH has gone off to Tanzania scuba diving (not all the way there, you understand - in a plane, then some diving once he gets there) and isn't back till a week on Tuesday. The evenings when he's away are always a dangerous time for me, I'm very tempted to snack more, and more unhealthily.

Flutterbee - don't beat yourself up, just get up and do some moving around - even if it's some fast vacuuming - just to get you feeling virtuous again.

suejoneziscalmernow · 03/09/2006 10:28

Come down to me Jackie - I have loads of packing and cleaning you could do...

Flutterbee - are you still lying there? Gt up and go for a walk, go on, there's a good girl, you'll feel much better for it. I don't want to see you back on here until you've walked for AT LEAST 30 mins

JackieNo · 03/09/2006 10:58

I'd love to sue, unfortunately there's all that work, and school and nursery to do next week. Weirdly, I much prefer cleaning someone else's house to my own. Having a bit of a sort out, and have got a couple of bath toys, if you'd like them? You've got my email, so if you email me your address, I'm happy to send them. They're currently soaking in vinegar (how environmentally friendly am I?) to clean them up.

suejoneziscalmernow · 03/09/2006 18:30

I have conceded defeat on the TV thread too much else to worry about. I guess its one all on the suejonez vs fattist threads scoreboard so far.

suejoneziscalmernow · 03/09/2006 18:38

my website unveiled at last

losingdd · 03/09/2006 19:07

JackieNo · 03/09/2006 19:17

Love the website - bet you can't wait to fill in the 'We're home' pages. Have bookmarked you and left a message.

Dottydot · 03/09/2006 19:19

That is a brilliant website! Good luck - I'm only just catching up with it all and I'm already excited for you!

Meanwhile I'm having a 'fat' few days - not eating anything bad in particular, but just feeling a bit fat and frumpy. I'm finding weekends much harder than during the week when I'm at work and have got into a nice fruit, water and small lunch routine. At home I tend to nibble more - not good...

flutterbee · 03/09/2006 22:18

Added your site to my faves Sue.

suejoneziscalmernow · 03/09/2006 22:34

Thanks for the kind words, I feel almost as nervous about unveiling my new baby website as my new baby!

whoopsfallenoveragain · 03/09/2006 22:48

That's a great website Sue - Good luck you must be soooo excited

suejoneziscalmernow · 03/09/2006 23:02

I have to say not so much excited at the moment, more frazzled...

have a major v imprt document to read for work tomorrow that I haven;t been able to settle to. Will have to start it now and be up half the night - what am i doing on here! Be gone woman

justamum · 04/09/2006 00:27

Sue, I'll put the snowsuit in the post tomorrow.

Littlefish · 04/09/2006 14:36

Have you bought your Medised yet Sue? Can be used from 3 months old I think, so you should be fine.

justamum · 04/09/2006 22:23

hi, I think all the mofos must be out living exciting social lives, is there anyone out there? just shows being big is no barrier, or else everyone is in front of the tv mindlessly "stuffing their faces" as us large people tend to do!
I'm sitting here try to ignore the insistent call of some choc buttons my pil bought for ds- I would be a terrible mother to eat them wouldn't I?

JackieNo · 04/09/2006 22:30

Err - tv for me. Blackberry and apple crumble (home made). Rather too much. DH is away, and as usual, I'm making bad choices. It is very quiet, isn't it. Am about to have some water and head to bed, though. Do better tomorrow, hopefully.
DON'T EAT THE CHOCOLATE BUTTONS.

WigWamBam · 04/09/2006 22:42

DON'T EAT THE CHOCOLATE BUTTONS! (Is there an echo in here? )

Exciting social lives? It's been a long time since I had one of those ...

justamum · 04/09/2006 22:45

ooh, homemade pie, how lovely. i have some technically "homemade" bob the builder cakes in the kitchen but they are revolting and have had ds's mucky paws all over them.
i have tried making proper cakes with the little monkey, but he prefers rubbish out of a box because they have ricepaper bob stickers.
I will be home alone with the kids from Wednesday and i always end up eating too much when dh is away as well Jackie, its hard isn't it.

suejoneziscalmernow · 04/09/2006 23:19

Well I'm not having an exciting social life - have been in bloody work. Got in, ate some dinner, replied to my emails an now on MN when I should be composing list of essential infomration required to send to adoption agency.

Have started getting palpitations lucky I'm a sensible sort and I know is just nerves or I'd be down casualty which my fluttery heart. Luckily means too nervous to eat much as I overate at the weekend.

Bit of an extreme way to diet though
