Isn't it 3500. And that would be ON TOP of the 2000 the body needs just to maintain.

I don't even think you should give it another thought, it's a new week and what ever happened in last weeks slot. Stays there! I still think it will go as quickly as it showed up though, for the record

What have you got planned for today? Anything to get in the way?

Reastie · 30/06/2014 08:20

stealth agree with toe , definitely just initial bloat, weigh again mid week and hopefully won't be as bad. Oh, and get back on it TODAY, don't give up!

toe hope you manage to ride into work.

stealth and toe I heard that 3500/3000 kcals per lb thing is all myth and it doesn't really work like that.

Busy week end, cake was involved, but just a slither so don't feel too bad. My bum and thighs kill today after a boxing type workout I did yesterday. Didn't weigh this morning but seem to be continuing on maintaining at the minute so fingers crossed.

ToeFluff · 30/06/2014 19:25

I really do take my hat off to those of you doing all these hardcore work outs! I don't know how u have the energy or will power to get on with it and do it!

I can't even be bothered to find the shred DVD let alone actually do it this eveningGrin

Had a good day food wise but didn't manage to ride to work, ds decided he was a baby and kept talking in a high voice saying gooooo every time I told him to put his shoes on so we were running late.

Reastie · 30/06/2014 19:57

Toe ohh DD does that, it's really annnoying isn't it. My best trick is to say 'ohh, do this/that/the other, you always used to do that when you were a baby/you loved that when you were a baby' and she falls for it alot! She's only 3 though.

No workout today (I'm really not that hardcore toe , only manage a workout 3 - 4 times a week) and very lazy day as DD is ill. Lots of moaning and playing with her (she's too ill to go out and do stuff, but not so ill she just lies there doing nothing IYKWIM). Going on holiday on Saturday and now convinced DH and I will catch DDs lurgy for going Confused .

ToeFluff · 30/06/2014 20:26

Oh no! I hope you don't catch anything and dd wakes up as good as new. Where are you off to on holiday anywhere nice?

Don't knock it that's a lot of time and energy there! I think I might start taking iron tablets, cant do pro plus as I get the shakes but I bet I'd be up for it then! Grin

ToeFluff · 01/07/2014 14:40

Afternoon, can't seem to curb my hunger today Hmm

Reastie · 01/07/2014 18:02

toe I have days like that, my logic is kind of to go with it but make healthy choices for things you do eat. Some days you'll eat more, some days eat less, it'll even out. I'm having a hungry day today here too, think it's as am really down on sleep after DD being up a few nights ill, and not able to catch up. I need my sleep! And lack of sleep = hunger.

WannaSplitAPineapple · 01/07/2014 20:35

Evening all.

Well my weekend of fun obviously wasn't too bad as I lost 1lb it'll probably show on the scales next week but I'm not thinking about that now I've been doing quite well with food but then DH and I took the bikes out tonight and decided we were too tired to cook when we got in so went and got a take out Blush

reastie if 3-4 times a week isn't hardcore what is??? I barely manage twice a week.

How's the hunger going toe?

ToeFluff · 01/07/2014 22:20

I am pleased to say i am no longer hungry, I'm not pleased to say what I ate to fill me up!

Oh well, I think I just need to find the balance. In my mind I keep thinking as little calories as possible, but I should be aiming for 1200 not 800, no wonder I'm hungry!

I will divulge one of the many snacks I had... A sausage and potato waffle sandwich Grin I couldn't help myself mmm double carbs!

Wanna what take away did you have?

...this is such a baaaaad weight loss motivation thread!

WannaSplitAPineapple · 01/07/2014 22:35

Maccies Blush I wouldn't feel as bad if it was bloody worth the calories but it was pure laziness. I had my tea in and it was lovely and healthy but very boring, fish with new potatos and salad.

Mmmm toe your carb overload sounds amazing. Now I want a sausage sandwich.

Right tomorrow is a new day, I only want to hear of lettuce leaves and carrot sticks. No exciting food!

ToeFluff · 01/07/2014 23:42

Yup yup, 2morrow is another day. I'm at work so shouldn't be too difficult, it's my days off that bugger me up.

Good luck to all of us!

StealthPolarBear · 02/07/2014 06:13

Well done wanna!
Yes I'm working at home today and it's always those days that are a struggle. Think today should be ok as I'm still too disgusted with my weekend of excess!

OP posts:
Reastie · 02/07/2014 06:39

toe you aim for 800 kcals? Shock that's crazy little, no wonder you're hungry.

stealth hope the working from home goes OK, it's hard when you're at home on your own doing boring things like work with temptation just in the next room.

Reastie · 02/07/2014 06:45

Oh, and someone put this on their fb feed yesterday and it made me Grin and think of you all (with the Monday reference, not the 'next monday' thing). You see, this is why we are different and we will succeed, because we will keep going and getting back on it TODAY

Is anyone feeling all MOTIVATED on this lovely sunny MONDAY
StealthPolarBear · 02/07/2014 06:52

Love that reastie, I think we need that as the thread mascot (with as you say a warning that next monday isn'tgood enough :))
Im on holiday in the middle of august. All I want is a stomach im not ashamed of. Is that too much to ask?
(Oh and long thick swishy hair but that IS too much to ask!)

WannaSplitAPineapple · 02/07/2014 07:18

Haha reastie that made me laugh.

stealth I'm away the end of this month and I want to get rid of the tummy too, I also want toned arms but no matter how much I wish this the fat isn't draining away.

Good luck at home toe I find I'm worse in work coz I'm so disorganised I don't take lunch in so I go out and buy crap. I'm going to be good today and take lunch.

Ps for the long swishy hair have you tried extensions? My friend went to selfridges, got them to match the colour and then ordered the same ones for half the price off ebay. Everyone is always amazed when she says they're extensions. They just clip in so you can take them out when it's too hot to have long and swishy hair!!

WannaSplitAPineapple · 02/07/2014 15:36

I'm really really hungry today. I've drunk loads to try and take the edge off but it isn't working. The only good thing is that I'm in work so unable to go out and eat crap.

Reastie · 02/07/2014 16:09

Hungry here too Confused . So far for snacks this afternoon I've had raisins, yoghurt, nuts, rice cakes, low cal hot choc (double sized portion Blush ). Not bad food, but I just keep eating!

ToeFluff · 02/07/2014 17:12

Not every day but days after a KFC I do, never bloody get there though. Huff.

Had a fab day today actually, not had dinner yet though so still potential to go wrongGrin

StealthPolarBear · 02/07/2014 22:05

How did you get on toe?
Feel like I'm finally getting past the danger period following the weekend. Making it my mission to get through this weekend without too much damage, hopefully the memory of seeing the scales go back in time 3 weeks will help. Also decided I, going to do either level 1 or 2 shred each day, I think they're on a par in terms of difficulty and a bit of variety is what I need

OP posts:
StealthPolarBear · 03/07/2014 19:21

Ahem

OP posts:
Reastie · 03/07/2014 19:23

Ahem? Does that mean things didn't go to plan today?

StealthPolarBear · 03/07/2014 19:43

No it meant where are you all :o
thhings going ok here, looking forward to seeing some results though. Hoping that when I weigh on monday ill have worked off last weekend's excesses!!

Reastie · 03/07/2014 19:46

Did you opt for level 1 or 2 in the end stealth ?

I did an hours plyo workout today (I say an hour, more like 40 - 45 mins after warm up/cool down) which was hard work, think I'll ache a bit in the morning. Eating too much though as just so hungry all the time.

StealthPolarBear · 03/07/2014 20:00

I did level 2, I meant 2 amd 3 in my last post.
what is plyo, sounds interesting?
