Hi everyone
hair glad your friend is forgiving
Wanna you keep your chocolate IN THE CAR? surely its a soggy mess by the time you eat it. I could weep at the waste :o
Kato, hope the ttc isn't getting too stressf, I remember the totm disappointment well.
imst and hair I do get you mixed up too! I remember what you look like and details about you in real life but on here you're both just four letter acronyms of phrases :) not sure why it's you two though and not another 4 letter acronym.
I do it all over mn, there are people who are 'paired' in my mind.

I'm so pleased with myself..I said no to cake today!

Yeah the choc in the car as a deterrent in winter is a bloody good idea (will be stealing that) but I couldn't handle the melted mess in summer.

I didn't buy it but I saw something yday that has been on my mind since-peanut butter cups Ben and Jerry's ice cream!!! Mmmmmmm it makes my mouth water!

WannaSplitAPineapple · 25/06/2014 20:40

Surprisingly it doesn't melt. If I leave it in the actually car it does but in the boot it survives the heat. I did cave today in work and tucked in to a twirl from my car supply. Apart from that I've been good and sometimes needs must with work.

Toe your will power is better than mine, well done on saying no to cake. Now just stay away from the Ben & Jerrys!

ToeFluff · 25/06/2014 21:09

The sponge looked so moist and the icing was all thick and gooey, but to be fair I think that's why I actually did say no as no decent cake can be made without a ton of eeeeevil!

Hmm I might buy a sacrificial bar to test the car boot theoryGrin

Twirls are a very good choccy hit! Did it set u off or did u manage to stay on track for the remainder?

StealthPolarBear · 26/06/2014 17:11

We're going to need a new thread, my eyes keep wandering to the cakw description.
ive applied lots of willpower today, at a work even with lunch, just had 2 small sandwiches and some fruit. Ignored the cake even though it pained me! I love workey lunches so am feeling very virtuous

Sorry!

It does make u feel good when you can control yourself doesn't it Grin

Good day here again, parents meeting at school this morning with school hot meals tasters so tray of pizza and cookies and brownies- didnt even have 1, then went for pub lunch and I picked one of the 600cal or less options..... I am however having KFC tonight though...not sure what I can do there! Will be having salads for rest of the week til weigh in!

WannaSplitAPineapple · 26/06/2014 19:57

KFC is soooo good but not at all calorie counting friendly. I suppose you need some treats otherwise you'll go insane. I can't believe how good you've both been. We had cake in work today and I couldn't resist. I did have a minute piece and it was lemon drizzle so no icing to worry about.
I finally got my bike today although I'm away at the weekend so not going to get a chance to ride it. I'm away with my friend so I'm not holding out much hope if weighing myself next week.

TheOneWithTheHair · 26/06/2014 20:45

I succumbed to cake too. I had an hour to get dd from school, fed and back to school so we went to a cafe for dinner as it takes an hour to get home.

I had such good intentions of just having coffee while she ate but the chocolate muffins were too much temptation.

I'm doing the same tomorrow but I'm going to try and have a snack before I go so in not hungry.

ToeFluff · 26/06/2014 22:37

Well, I said I'd have a salad but dp copped and said he isn't going into KFC and ordering a salad. I hate his nights to choose dinner!

Over 10000 calories later I'm stuffed and hoping I can ride my bike to work in the morning, except I'm always running late and it's meant to be raining so I won't hold my breath.

I bought ocean pie ww ready meal for 2mo which is only 196cal, planning on padding it out with plenty more veg but think that might make up for today's oversight.

Lemon drizzle cake is my all time favourite cake. Ever! I can pass up all others but not that!

WannaSplitAPineapple · 26/06/2014 22:42

We've all had a bit of a blip today. At least you're all planning on being good tomorrow to make up for it. I'm planning on afternoon tea. I'll just have to go for a mega bike ride on Monday to work it all off, either that or not eat anything but plain lettuce leaves next week.
I'm terrible for any homemade cake, shop cake i can pass on doesn't mean I always do but not homemade.

ToeFluff · 26/06/2014 22:45

But you are still planning on making up for it Monday and not giving up either and that's the whole point so pat on the back for u tooGrin patronising much? Sorry but I just mean remember ure still doing well too!

WannaSplitAPineapple · 27/06/2014 09:02

Thanks Toe, you made me laugh. I have put my jeans on today and I do feel my tummy is a little flatter so yes I'll be back at it come Monday.
What's everyone's else's plans for the weekend?

Reastie · 27/06/2014 20:02

Hi all,

Have been lurking but every time I try to post I somehow get distracted not by cake though, honest .

I'm feeling a bit, meh, at the minute. Need some workout advice. kato I'm looking at you! Having done insanity 3 - 4 times a week for about 9 months, then a month or so of T25 (which just hurt my knees so had to give up) I'm now onto P90X (mainly weights work). I just don't feel like I'm working myself but I don't know if that's as it's a different type of workout. With insanity it was all crazy cardio exhaustion. This one I find hard work and can't do all the reps and feel at the time like I'm challenging myself, but I don't sweat in the same way and it's not cardio dense so I sort of feel like I'm cheating Confused and should be doing more than I am.

have been OK but not angelic this week. My school report would read 'could do better'...

StealthPolarBear · 27/06/2014 22:05

Hi all.
reastie I didnt follow all of that, but I get what you mean. Ive been thinking about starting a thread about the shred as there are some exercises I find challemging to do but dont feel like a good workout. Then there are others (the rows and the crunches) that I love. And the abs move at the end of each of the levels I iust find easy (which I assume means im doi g it wrong!) And ineffive.
anyway ive had a day off today and thouth ive eaten too much I've npt binged and I stopped half way through my chinese take away as I was full. Before I'd have forced it down but today I actually mamaged to realise thatid feel worse in the long run. So im full but not massively bloated. Success!

ToeFluff · 29/06/2014 16:11

waves sheepishly...

So I've had KFC thurs, wine and pizza Friday, christening yday so stuffed my face on buffet food and fairy cakes, and today I'm at the in laws and they have never heard of diet and everything is cooked in 3 inches of lard and tastes amazing...

Ooops. Grin

Start again tomorrow!

StealthPolarBear · 29/06/2014 16:14

Same here. It's all been downhill since my chinese takeaway success on Friday :(

OP posts:
ToeFluff · 29/06/2014 16:34

Oh dear, pants weekend all round the !

No use torturing ourselves though stealth, it's too late to worry about what we've eaten already and can only do something about what we have from now on. (Ice cubes and lettuce for time being!) Grin

Did u say u were going to do a shred thread? I think I might have a bash soon, not sure as it kills me but should really do something though..

WannaSplitAPineapple · 29/06/2014 19:55

Evening all

We'll I'm just about too tuck in to a KFC and have spent the weekend eating and drinking. I'm trying to persuade myself it's ok though as they had a ceilidh so I did lots of dancing.

I think I'm best avoiding the shred as my knees were covered in bruises after trying it last time. I may do a bit of hula hooping and see how I go with that.

Well I'm off to enjoy my healthy tea before joining Toe on the lettuce and I've cubes tomorrow.

ToeFluff · 29/06/2014 20:30

I've put my foot down with dp and told him his choice dinners still need to be reasonable as it sets me off track every time and it's unfair(not that it's his fault but he doesn't make it easy) Otherwise I'll have separate dinners for a few weeks. Shall wait and see what he comes up with!

Currently making a sausage sandwich and making the most of being off plan, wish I had biscuits in!

I got a hula hoop last year and hidden it behind the door since forgot how hard it was!

StealthPolarBear · 29/06/2014 20:32

Ice cubes?? More than one is an extravagance!!
I'll try to libk to my shred thread

OP posts:
StealthPolarBear · 30/06/2014 06:41

ShIt well a weekend of bingeing has really ruined me. I seem to have put back on all the weight I have lost over about the last month. My stomach feels huge. Why do I do this to myself?

OP posts:
ToeFluff · 30/06/2014 06:58

It's probably just the initial bloat, give it a few days and try again and I bet it shows a big difference. Don't hate yourself you are only human

It's Monday,

ToeFluff · 30/06/2014 07:04

..and I sent that without telling it to. Grr

Maintained this week, should have been a nice loss but I'll take it after this weekend.

So for everyone that's struggling today is the reset button. I hope there's no choccy in your cars!

Hoping to ride to work if I can get my bum in gear, having to go via nursery means I have to leave dead on or it's not enough time or I get there a red sweaty mess and no one needs to see that! Grin

StealthPolarBear · 30/06/2014 07:07

Well done on maintaining :)
Hope you're right about tje bloat and I hope ive learnwd my lesson rhis time. This isnt normal. Doesnt it take 3000 additional calories to add a lb. So ive had 6000 additional calories per day in the 3 dayd ive not been dieting. What an idiot!!

OP posts:
StealthPolarBear · 30/06/2014 07:08

Im keeping my finger on the reset button because I'd need two hands to open a bar of chocolate
