I think maintain is good too Stealth.

I've put two pounds on but I think it's partly the holiday and night out catching up with me and partly because it's totm any day. Whilst I'm not happy, I'm not despairing either.

KatoPotato · 21/07/2014 11:16

maintain here too guys.

reastie I'm joining you on the same bench, I've had no significant loss since xmas, but I feel slimmer, people at the gym are commenting and my clothes are different.

It must be muscle!

ToeFluff · 21/07/2014 22:26

I'm demanding a recountGrin not sure what I was last Monday but I'm in a whole new stone bracket... Will try again in the morning with hope I go back below it.

Had a fab day today under calories as I rode to work, and left my purse at home so I couldn't buy any sneaky treats Grin

InMySpareTime · 22/07/2014 06:58

Toe, well done on cycling in. Perhaps all the blood pumping from the cycling (or all the sweat) affected the weight briefly?
Hope it's back down soon, but keep on it, don't be disheartened.

ToeFluff · 22/07/2014 08:32

I weighed first thing so it wasn't the bike ride, it has gone though! Was 12st2 yday and 11st12 today which is more like it still not sure what last week was and I know it was a gain but least I've got accurate for next weeks loss(and it WILL be a loss) I'm never getting this close to 12 stone again!

Have the day off today and hoping to sweat a couple of lb off in the sun Grin

How's everyone feeling?

Eighty don't feel disheartened, surely anyone who takes a break from anything will take some time to get back in the swing again. It's not a failure, look at it as a challenge instead.

I think I can officially give myself a pat on the back- I'm sat in macdonalds with a diet coke.. That's it. Feeling very proud! Until I realise I'm giving ds macdonalds far too often! Whoops.

Hey ladies like most I've stayed the same on my weight this week. I wasn't very good ok I was awful this weekend so happy with my results.

Well done on resisting Maccys toe doesn't matter if your DS is eating it too much as long as you aren't Grin

eighty I think exercise is supposed to be fun, doesn't mean it is. Although my exercise at the moment is going out on my bike which I am enjoying.

StealthPolarBear · 22/07/2014 21:30

Exercise and fun on the same sentence

toe glad you've blipped back into the lower stone bracket.

eighty you see I'd think one minute slower despite no practice in a while sounds good to me. Have you got a starting speed to copare it to from when you very first started? FWIW even if I take a week off it feels hard the week after, but you soon get the fitness back again. 100km?

OK, I don't find exercise 'fun' at all really but I do feel great afterwards. It's that knowledge which makes me do it.

StealthPolarBear · 24/07/2014 08:56

How is everyone?
I had a big day ofd yesterday, lots of pizza and cookies. According tp the scales this morningI've put on abt half a pound. That's how it sshould be! And before that I'd gone back down to my 11st6. Back on it today!!

WannaSplitAPineapple · 24/07/2014 15:02

I've only recently got my bike eighty so not going that far yet. I did look at a Macmillan ride but a shorter one, don't think I could cope with100km. The thought of it makes me tired!
reastie I'm like you and don't find exercise fun but when the sun is shining I don't see my bike as exercise. It's lovely just riding along the canal looking at all the boats.
I hope you've been good today stealth to make up for yesterday Smile
I'm off on holiday tomorrow so have a busy night ahead trying to sort all the last minute bits. I'm not thinking about the weight I'll put on when away

StealthPolarBear · 24/07/2014 20:36

Motivation did not last :(
Have a fantastic holiday!

stealth oh dear, just keep on it, get back on NOW, TONIGHT!

Well, I'm feeling a bit demotivated too. Had what I thought was a not too bad day, just added it up on MFP and actually was quite bad, I rarely do MFP any more but made me realise most days I think I struggle to get on 2000 kcals, let alone any lower. I'm in a panic about putting all the weight back on, which I know is OTT, but every day is still a struggle to make good choices and feeling like I'm cutting back on what I'd like.

TheOneWithTheHair · 26/07/2014 09:33

Good morning everyone. I've spent the week rearranging my summer. All sorted now and I'm off to the lakes for two weeks on Monday.

This means swimming everyday and lots of long walks. Also I have to be more organised with food so there will be less opportunity to stray off course.

Hopefully it will put me back on track as it's not been great this week.

How are you all getting on.

TheOneWithTheHair · 26/07/2014 09:34

?

Reastie · 26/07/2014 12:56

Sounds lovely Hair , I'd love to go to the lakes, haven't been since I was a child. I keep hearing about where you were off to on the news and thinking of you.

Things here OK, but not good. Did a plyo workout this morning so feel better for that, but need to get more workouts in somehow and stop eating chocolate

TheOneWithTheHair · 26/07/2014 14:16

Chocolate Baileys bar. Shock

Sounds gorgeous.

InMySpareTime · 26/07/2014 18:02

Weekend with the Out Laws Hmm. Surviving so far, made everyone walk up Arthur's Seat (250metre ascent), which has worn them out a bit! MIL gave up at the bottom and sat by herself for a couple of hours, DS's shoes were rubbing (and 2 sizes too smallBlush) so he ran up barefoot!

Reastie · 26/07/2014 18:09

It was hair !

Hope the outlaws visit goes quickly and painfree IMST

We're off to Glasgow today for the Rugby Sevens. Up early as the security takes ages to get through, but we'll be walking from the station to Ibrox as traffic is busy.
Long day ahead, home tomorrow though.
How are you all doing?
