My DH is very fussy when it comes to eating so I tend to do a variant of what I have. If I have fish, salad and new potatos I'll get the fish you cook in the bag in the oven and DH gets fish fingers. Apparently it's the only way fish should be eaten. I tend not to do low fat foods just change what I'm cooking so I may do breakfast for tea and I'll cut all fat off my bacon, fill up on eggs and grill everything not fry. I also eat a lot of salad or veg with my meal to fill up on. Things like chicken with a marinade on, I like the nandos ones DH has his with chips, I have mainly salad. Erm I'm trying to think what else. I do get bored of food easy tho.

I think you are allowed time off for holidays hair and any other potential occasion if us lot were anything to go off last week

I'm going to get my knee looked at this afternoon so hopefully they will wave a magic wand and fix it so I can get back to exercising. I eat much better if I've exercised.

I'm a huge Kale fan, and will have it shredded and roasted with garlic oil served with with chicken like the above, pork or salmon.

Tonight Im trying ASDA's new chipolte and honey marinaded ready to eat salmon fillets, not sure what with, maybe just a a salad...

Also the maggi papyrus sheets are brilliant for plain chicken breasts too, just pop them in a dry pan ten mins each side. Nice with wraps or rice.

But last night we had fish finger sandwiches!

Those warburtons thins with iceberg lettuce, salad cream and tomato sauce!

Delicious and only about 300 calories! I had one, DH had two!

Nope I'm not going to chuck it in, I spent the whole day holding my tummy today as I had a bulge where my jeans stopped Hmm I just need to remember this shitty feeling when I'm craving junk food.

Hair did u have a nice time? I always give it til the Monday after I'm back to get back into it. It's hard!

I'm going to fake enthusiasm until I lose a bit and it comes naturally(starting tomorrow obviously) Wink

What d'ja do Stealth?

I have lost my main holiday this year. Either we're going to lose a lot of money or the British Embassy will oblige by changing their travel advice and we will get a refund. Either way, I may not need to look good in a bikini this year.

I hate struggling too.

We were going to Tel Aviv. We love it there but right now it's almost a war zone! We have a few weeks to see what develops but dh and I have decided it's too close for comfort and we're not prepared to take the dcs. We may be able to change the flights but that has a fee and we'd need to pay extra for accommodation. We were staying in my mum's flat for free.

Anyway, just took ds2 out for dinner and ended up eating a muffin. Oops. I don't know why I have no discipline this week. I'm not due on which is my usual danger time. I think I'm out of the habit.

I've just googled as I'm uneducated and yes that does look a rather scary place to take dc. Daunting without them too!

It's so difficult to break bad habits and form new ones.

I'm currently eating pizza but fully intend to get my butt in gear for 2morrow. I want to lose 2 stone by November for a wedding and it's never going to happen at this rate!

Well I'm going to start with actually weighing myself on Monday. I do it on the Wii so it's easy to ignore. I think that will be a good kick start. I suspect it will also be a shock.

It should be easier for me now because dd has broken up. (Ds2 still in school). This half term she has had extra curricular exams, two week long shows and end of year exams. Plus a couple of b'day parties. Also it means I'm not doing 60miles a day in the car.

We should be able to fit in some exercise. We went on a bike ride on Wednesday so it's looking up for exercise. Just need to sort out food.

2 stone is doable but you'll have to be really disciplined. I was meant to be at a wedding next weekend but the bride broke her back. They're having it on NYE instead so that's my new target.

Broke her back?! Bloody hell! Hope she's ok! Cor not many people can say I broke my back a few weeks before my wedding!

I feel like it is doable..but only if I become needy and post here far too much and make dp miserable in the processGrin he hates it when I diet, either actively or just eating healthily.

Maybe I'm just blaming him as it's easier!Grin

I'm with toe I really want to lose the weight without the effort, well no I was prepared to put the effort in but I didn't see results quick enough for my liking so I've lost my motivation. I'm still exercising ish, Physio told me to walk as little as possible, as if that's gonna happen with a toddler, I've also got to do the bare minimum although I can go on short bike rides as there is no weight on my knees. I've been out twice this week but only done a short ride each time. I just couldn't do it on food alone as I love the naughty stuff too much.

toe when you are feeling naughty you'll have to put your jeans on you'll soon get fed up of having to hold your tummy in.

Oh no one that's awful news about your holiday. Better to be wise and safe tho. Plus you have another target of the wedding so no excuse to let the diet slide.

What have you done stealth?

2 weeks today and I'll be in Barcelona ready to board my cruise on the Saturday. So I really need to discipline myself over the next two weeks so I can put that plus more on with all the yummy ship food

Stealth Monday is not good enough, you need to be back on track tomorrow!

DH is tucking in to a mars bar and I'm really really jealous. He's telling me he's not enjoying it coz it's been in the fridge but that's how I like it. I'm hoping by coming on here it will distract me long enough that I won't want one.
