It could be yoooooooooooo Hub! How is your gorgeous dd?

WigWamBam · 28/07/2006 20:11

Wow, wow, wow! Congratulations, schneebly!

Bloody hell, what a fertile place this thread is turning out to be ...

OP posts:
Littlefish · 28/07/2006 20:14

All this fertility gives me even more reason to stick around.

Littlefish · 28/07/2006 20:15

And yes, before anyone says it, I do realise that sitting around in a comfy chair is not how you get pregnant!!!

I'll lay a fiver the next to 'go blue' will not be dw, LOL.

DD is very well, thanks. We all went to an animal farm place today so she saw her first real guinea pigs, rabbits, goats, etc. etc. I'm not convinced she was very impressed, though she seemed to like one of the shire horses !

WWB - It's cheaper to buy latex gloves and just cut the fingers off.

schneebly · 28/07/2006 21:16

Hi guys - I see the news had drifted across to here! Bit of a surprise but my own fault for being careless! Am happy I think but haven't told DH yet - he is asleep!

coppertop · 28/07/2006 21:17

Congratulations, Schneebly!

Dd's only 4 months old so I'm certainly not planning to be next.

schneebly · 28/07/2006 21:31

Thanks coppertop! My DS1 was only 8 months when I got pg with DS2 so watch out!

coppertop · 28/07/2006 21:34

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

coppertop · 28/07/2006 21:36

Just a thought but is this a case of transferring from comfort food to other kinds of comfort instead? It might help explain a few things round here......

JackieNo · 28/07/2006 21:43

Doesn't explain me, coppertop - DH has been away for the last 12 days, due back tomorrow pm.

Congratulations Schneebly - started following your other thread at work at lunchtime, then hae been frantically busy, and come back to find you're pg. Stick around anyway, like Dublindee, and chat to us nevertheless, won't you.

suejonez · 28/07/2006 21:44

Yes congrats Scheebly

schneebly · 28/07/2006 21:44

lol at 'comfort'!

I am pretty sure I will stick around because I like talking to you lot!

suejonez · 28/07/2006 21:45

Met MrsJC today for a coffee in M&S Kew (aren't we posh!) - play your cards right littlebitshy and I'll take you there too!

schneebly · 28/07/2006 21:45

Thanks sue - any word on your slow paperwork yet? I really hope you get good news soon.

suejonez · 28/07/2006 21:48

none yet it seems the man who ties the little bits on string around the documents (or something like that) went on holiday and nobody else seems to know (or care) how to tie the bits of string properly in his absence. May find out a bit more when he turns up with his suntan on Monday. Or maybe not...

schneebly · 28/07/2006 21:49

I have my fingers crossed for you pet.

hub2dee · 29/07/2006 10:14

Interesting calories whilst pg article here

alittlebitshy · 30/07/2006 20:07

suejonez -

excellent. are you still on for sat then????????? just going to check itinery with dh...
okay, looks like i'm free from 1.20........
what we going to do about meeting???
you can email me on [email protected] (let me know if you have cos i don't check that one v often)

suejonez · 30/07/2006 23:00

Yes Saturday is still fine, do you have any idea where you'll be then? I'll email you my phone number and we can arrange something. The M&S cafe I met MrsJC at is pretty reliable and easy to find but it depends whether you have car with you and where you're heading to next.

Looking forward to it - can I ask your DH a theological question when I see him (will I be seeing him?) - nothing contentious just an opinion required.

MrsJohnCusack · 31/07/2006 09:32

hi sue
was lovely to meet you on Friday, only sorry that I had to direct so much attention towards DD! she conked out straight away in the car, she was knackered

Schneebly - well done! When you started the 'can I use this name thread' I did wonder whether subconsciously you knew something was up....

I still hang around the thread even though I'm pregnant, desperately trying not to pile on the weight this time round....

schneebly · 31/07/2006 09:55

I didn't even know then mrsjc! I guess I was a bit paranoid in the back of my mind which got me thinking about names etc! I will join you in the hanging around and trying not to pile it on! I was very lucky with my last 2 pgs as I didn't actually gain any weight so came out lighter afterwards but I was definitely eating plenty - just healthier I guess. All the best to you!

alittlebitshy · 31/07/2006 11:25

suejonez -
i'll be in central hounslow, and i will be on foot....
I have no idea of anything round there so you guide me.
when i say central hounslow i think i mean york road ish??????? (or am i imagining that?)
My dh will prob come and find us after he's done so feel free to ask him whatever you like... he loves a good question
and i'll be dd free (my parents coming up to ours to look after her), so it'll be great!!!

suejonez · 31/07/2006 11:41

York road sounds about right. There's a Tchibo in the high street in the corner of one of the entrances to the Treaty centre - they do pretty good coffee and we can always have a rummage in the bargains if one of us is late. It can get pretty busy.

How about we meet in there at 1.30?

Perhaps MrsJC can describe me as it's sometimes hard to describe yourself IYKWIM. My description is tall, large, brown hair, brown eyes, brown freckles (Mrs JC seemed to find me based on that description but she can expand it if it helps!). I'm 41 so don't be looking for some spring chicken...
